Radon Be Gone

I would highly recommend this company. Their staff was incredibly friendly and willing to work around our schedule. The installation crew were also very friendly and professional. They were in and out in only 4 hours while doing a dual zone installation. We had readings consistently in the high 20's before their installation and now all of our readings are < 1 pCi/l. They were also very reasonably priced.

Fast and very professional

Very timely and neat work. There was minimal, noise during the work. Most importantly the location and choice of pipeline path was chosen in the esthetically pleasing manner. The radon level was still above the limit, so they put additional pipes to extract radon from an additional location in the basement at no extra cost, and in very well chosen path and location. Overall excellent service. Highly recommend. Pricing seemed just right.

Scheduling was easy and convenient. The workers were efficient and professional, good humored and friendly. They cleaned up after themselves and I would certainly recommend them highly.

All of the Radon Be Gone staff I dealt with were very professional. They designed the system so it vents in a back corner of the house and is barely visible. The staff delivered the external vent pipes several days in advance of the installation so I could paint them to match the exterior of my home. They were timely, polite and very competent at their work. The radon readings in my home were reduced to a very low and safe level.

Ben was very quick and efficient and informative and left me feeling calm and reassured. The numbers showed that the device worked well beyond what was expected. We personally noticed a difference that evening.

I rarely give more than 4-star reviews, if any. However, from someone who values the true meaning of customer service, our experience with Radon BeGone was 5-star from beginning to end. Three radon mitigation companies gave us recommendations and costs. We chose Radon BeGone mainly because of the professionalism and knowledge of inspector Brad, courtesy of the staff, cost and placement (less complicated system than one company) of the mitigation system. Truly, our overall experience was excellent- something we don’t experience often anymore. To add, we have no personal or prior experience with this company or their staff. We would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

To the folks at Radon Be Gone and potential customers, Lengthy-but hopefully insightful Recently I learned that radon was present in my house and the intelligent thing to do is to have it mitigated. This occurred at the onset of the pandemic and the Governor's briefings and closures. I had read plenty of positive reviews about Radon Be Gone and they came personally recommended from a couple people I trust. At the time Radon Be Gone was not operating until they felt they had a great grasp of safety protocols for their staff and customers. I did have a few other companies come out, take a look, and provide a quote but my gut told me to wait if possible for Radon Be Gone to be operational. I spoke to Portia several times and she was very knowledgeable, reassuring, and answered a lot of questions I had, now that I had some time to learn about the gas itself and how companies mitigate it. Brad came out and did an honest assessment and again answered a host of questions. Due to previous reviews, their treatment of me, and the similar price to other companies, I chose Radon Be Gone. I was a bit nervous because I had finished the basement a couple years prior. For anyone that plans to finish their basement, check for Radon first. You have less options once you finish it. The day the job was to be completed, the vehicles were in my drive a few minutes early, which I liked. The guys: Larry, Walker and Ian were all very cooperative and professional. I was able to watch and learn without feeling like I was snooping. The holes in my side brick and facial wall and the foundation were precision. We couldn't have picked a better spot for the system. It is unobtrusive in the utility room and is not visible from the sides of the house that matter. They explained the system and how it works and some small other need to know items. They caulked all the exterior hardware and sealed and cleaned everything. For those of you that may be concerned about their Covid safety protocols- I was very comfortable with how they operated. Post installation of the equipment, they retested the Radon Levels in my house and I was not only under the accepted level, but significantly under. The report of the test and other details were provided in a very timely manner. As a matter of fact the gentleman, forgot his name, (sorry) text me the results immediately. I know this is probably a lengthy post, but hope it provides useful insight and my recommendation of using Radon Be Gone if you need to have Radon Mitigation.

Went very well. The work was performed on time and they did a great job of explaining everything as it was being done.

We had several companies come to our home for a quote. Two we never heard back from, one seemed to not really understand what to do, another wanted to install double the system we needed. Radon Be Gone was solid from start to finish. Professional, timely and communicative every step of the way. We are so happy we contacted them and would highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Radon Be Gone enough! We priced out 3 different companies to install a mitigation system and they had the best price and customer service. We never waited more than 30 minutes for an email response and everyone we spoke to over the phone or in person was terrific. They left our home in great condition and cleaned up all traces of mess.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I spoke with multiple companies who quoted me at much higher prices, and who told me they couldn't guarantee the work since my house was so old and built on the old-style dirt/concrete mix rather than concrete/gravel. RBG told me they do this work frequently, and they were confident they could fix without issue - and for much less money - and they would guarantee in contract. AND THEY DID! The post mitigation test came back 1.4 in the basement, which means even lower on the first living floor (house was being renovated so the first floor was too dusty to test on). These folks are just wonderful!

Extremely well. Everyone at the company was very professional, courteous, friendly, prompt, and communicative at every step of the process. Radon mitigators did an excellent job, cleaned up completely after themselves and left the house just as it was before. Radon level reading of over 20 pCi/L was brought down to 0.5 pCi/L which is well below the EPA standard safe level of 4 pCi/L. We were reliant upon Radon Be Gone to be able to sell our house! And they got all work done in a very short time frame to enable us to make it to scheduled closing! I absolutely recommend Radon Be Gone!!!

I can't recommend this outfit highly enough. My condo board was very specific about how mitigation systems could be designed and I was feeling very discouraged. Andy Smith came out and found a way to do what was required in a great way. His experience and knowledge was so obvious and he was so pleasant and fun to work with that my stress level was lowered 500% over what I'd been told couldn't be done by others. The workers were fast, neat, and punctual. You can't go wrong with RadonBeGone and btw- I was pleasantly surprised by a lower price than I expected.

The team was very informative with the instillation process and punctual with the appointment times. We had to call back for a repair and they responded almost immediately. Any team member we dealt with was very professional and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone needing a system put in their home.
