Not professional at all! They admitted that they're very slow to get their books together, didnt send me a bill while I was at the location I hired them for (i moved over a year ago) its now over a year later and they just called me for the first time THE WEEK OF CHRISTMAS!!! To tell me I owe them $1100! I really hope you get someone calling you this week as well stating you owe a large amount of $$ a year+ later You couldn't have called me sooner, or for Christ's sake wait for another week... common courtesy!

Was not able to reduce and stated they could not find other comparable sales. I do not feel that they really did enough research.

<p>I have used her service numerous times to have my assessment appealed on my house. The tax saved for 3 years of the assessment cycle with the second installment of my 2014 real estate tax bill is $2557.59. They are very professional and would recommend them to reduce your taxes. I originally appealed my taxes and was rejected. I gave my information to Raila who reduced my taxes by 14%. They actually reduced the assessed value below the prior value. While I would have appreciated some electronic (even if it was automated) updates about the progress of my appeal, I am extremely happy with their work and will be recommending them to other people I know. <br />

I contacted her based on the article in the Angie's List Magazine in early 2012 based on the Cook County assessor's new assessment. That assessment already had reduced assessed value of house by 20% and I wasn't expecting them to get much if any more. <br /> I filled out the paperwork authorizing them to work on my behalf. They acknowledged receiving it promptly but then about 5 months later, they said they had appealed at Assessor's office and were going to appeal at the Board level. <br /> I didn't hear much after that until this March when I got an invoice for them showing that thru multiple rounds of the process they were able to reduce the assessment another 15%. <br /> The invoice was the standard 40% of first year savings. They seem to have a high volume process but are willing to answer questions and perform very well.

<br /> In the past, I was always a little wary of companies that made these kinds of offers - I didn't think that they could really do very much about property taxes. <br /> <br /> But I was referred to Andrea Raila by my neighbor, so I thought I would give them a try. <br /> <br /> I contacted them by phone and gave them the information about our property. They explained how the process worked, and sent forms out to me for signature. I signed the forms and sent them back and that was it. Upon receiving the reduction in taxes, I got a letter telling me the good news. We were very pleased with the outcome! We were also told that they felt that we could get a further reduction for the next year's taxes. <br /> <br /> This company knows what they are doing and we will certainly use them in the future. All in all, this is a very professional organization and I would recommend their services to anyone.

THE PARTICULAR CIRCUMSTANCES MAKE GRADING VERY SUBJECTIVE. THERE WAS SOME EXCHANGE OF DOCUMENTS VIA MAIL AND PERHAPS 3 PHONE CALLS. I HAD TO DO MORE WORK THAN I EXPECTED BUT THIS WAS PROBABLY JUSTIFIED. ANDREA HAS CONDUCTED COMMUNITY MEETINGS ABOUT THE TAXING SYSTEM AND HAS LOBBIED FOR CHANGES TO MAKE IT MORE FAIR. I WAS LESS CERTAIN ABOUT SOME OF HER STAFF, BUT THIS MAY HAVE BEEN MISPLACED SINCE HER ORGANIZATION DID REDUCE MY ASSESSMENT AND TAXES. I RECEIVED HER MAILINGS FOR THE MOST RECENT TAX REDUCTION ATTEMPT AFTER I HAD ALREADY AGREED TO USE ANOTHER FIRM. I WAS PROBABLY A LITTLE PRECIPITOUS, BUT THE DEADLINE FOR FILING WAS NEARING AND I HAD LITTLE HOPE OF REDUCING MY TAXES FURTHER AFTER TWO SUCCESSFUL ATTEMPTS.
