My neighbor used Rainland to replace his driveway and public sidewalk and I approached them in hopes of getting a good price on my driveway as they were working in the neighborhood. I'd received other bids and Rainland's was the lowest. I adjusted the job to include stamping and coloring, with a border of a different design. I found Tony (the supervisor) very easy to work with, but the result wasn't perfect. The driveway abuts the foundation of my house and cement was splattered on the shingles. Stakes were left in the ground after the job was done and the driveway doesn't appear to be completely straight when observing it from the street. Also, the surface of the driveway is not flat, there are shallow depressions that form puddles when it rains. However, I no longer have to contend with the lake that used to form in a large crack by the side step! The City didn't approve the driveway design at the street and Rainland had to redo the edges and charged me for it, as well as an additional amount to have the driveway sealed. The step was done a year later and more concrete was splashed on adjacent shingles. All in all, I am glad the job is done but quality is lacking and it ended up costing me much more than the original bid. I will never again take the lowest bid!

In 2017, my driveway was old, cracked, and uneven. I got several bids to replace it but it was more expensive than anticipated and I decided to wait. Then my neighbor was having his driveway and sidewalk replaced in several spots and I decided to ask what they'd charge to do mine. They quoted me $6,000 to replace my driveway and the step to my side door, including stamping and coloring the concrete. This was less than the bids I'd received, so we proceeded. The driveway looks great but the workers made quite a mess and didn't clean up everything when they were done. When the driveway was finished, it was too late in the season to do the step, which had already been removed, so a contractor friend built a temporary wooden step. In Spring 2018, when I contacted them to finish the step, the crew was working out of town on a huge job and wouldn't be finished until late August. In September, the step was completed and they replaced the driveway approach and a section of sidewalk for an additional $1,600. They were better at cleaning up at this time, but I noticed that some shingles near the step have concrete on them and that will have to be corrected. I am pleased with the end result and the price so I was willing to deal with some frustration. I also found Tony, the lead man, easy to work with, flexible, and very pleasant.

the work was ok but the responsiveness and follow up were terrible. They were to provide documentation of the oil tank decommissioning which they never did and would not answer my repeated phone calls.

Rainland showed up on time, removed the driveway, poured, stamped and sealed the new one. It is beautiful. Will add photos later.

Rainland was in the process of replacing my neighbor's driveway, front steps. retaining wall and sidewalks. I made an offhand remark to Tony (Rainland) about doing my driveway. Later he came over and said he could give me a good price and do the work while he was waiting for permits next door. We agreed on the price and work to be done and Rainland started. They removed the old, cracked driveway and side step, set forms, then poured, stamped, and colored. Tony kept me informed of their schedule and other details. The driveway is ready except for sealing (and it's too cold right now) and the side step should be installed this week. I am pleased with their work and will call them back in the spring to replace the front porch, step, and walkway.

Rainland Concrete and Construction should be removed from your list entirely. Unfortunately I have nothing good to say about them except that the father, who did my original estimate, was very professional, informative and reasonable and that is why I chose the company to do my work. There are multiple sons working in this business and I got one that was disrespectful, rude, abusive of my property and most definitely did not do a professional job. I have had the father come out and see the work and he agrees. The son is upset that I did that because even tho they all use the same license number they don't work together. I am frustrated and will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and the Licensing Board. Communication was inadequate. if times were quoted, they were missed without acknowledgment or follow through. One month later, I still don't have a completed job.

While the work they did was good to the layman like me, I paid for and asked repeatedly for a permit. I was assured there was a permit issued and that I would receive proof of that. Trying to get a hold of Rainland, their phone was disconnected and my emails went unanswered I called the city to inquire about the permit I paid for, turns out there was no permit or even a application for the permit. If you want concrete work done illegally then I would go with Rainland, otherwise stick with a professional and make sure to ask for proof of a permit. Now I have to spend hundreds of dollars more to get a permit and have no idea if their work was done to code.

Rainland Concrete, Iongi, is a top rate company. They are incredibly professional and the work is superb. Iongi came out and went over the job with me a few times as I made some changes and had more questions that came up. He was very knowledgeable and understanding. I was concern about drainage and appearance. He answered all my questions and gave me much assurance. I was about to make a good investment and he made sure I felt confident investing in the job as well as with his company. They went above and beyond. The work is amazing. They are very professional. They showed up on time and were very respectful of the neighborhood. When they finished for the day, they always cleaned up. The finished product is stellar and the neighbors always stop and look at the job. I would hire Rainland Concrete and Construction again. I highly recommend them. Please feel free to email me if you should have any questions or need a reference.

They perform an outstanding service from start to finish, we also add a few projects outside our contract but most of all were very impress of there performance, and it was completely done in a timely matter.
