Raisecrete Foundation Repair and Pressure Grouting

Jeff and his crew did an excellent job in raising a sagging porch on a rental property that my mother owns. Their estimate for what the cost would be was highly competitive. They were prompt, did what they promised, and finished the job on budget. I would highly recommend RaiseCrete for anyone needing foundation repair. They were great!

I interviewed four companies to understand who had the most experience. It was clear that Raisecrete has the most slab and foundation experience of the four companies. Their price was in line with the other three, but I was most interested in their experience. They communicated constantly prior to doing the job to make sure we had everything lined up. They were punctual and took the time to explain the process and discuss the best method of repairs. The outcome was exactly as they said it would be and I feel I have a permanent fix to the crack in my slab. He has a large crew that all worked hard the entire time. In addition, they checked out my entire foundation to make sure everything checked out. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

Jeff from RaiseCrete from Foundation Repair Pressure Grouting came to the condo as scheduled and did a thorough examination of the problems both inside and out. It was determined that the foundation had cracked and needed to be reinforced. They had to remove a portion of the deck covering the area on the slope in order to hand excavate down to the existing footer and 18 inches beyond that to determine the number of and length of Stabi-Loc push piles needed. These were ordered and installed. Then engineered footer mounts were mounted to existing footers and the foundation was raised back as close to original elevation as possible to stabilize. The excavated areas were filled in and compacted down. The deck portion that was removed was replaced. Also Geo-tile was installed on the slope under the deck and extensions were installed on the gutter downspouts in that area to help with erosion control on the slope. The cracks on the exterior brick were repaired as were the cracks in the interior wall sheet rock. The work was done as scheduled and in a timely matter. The work area was cleaned up very well. Two other estimates were gotten. Raise Crete's price was in the middle of the other two quotes but included more services that would have been needed. Both the condo owner and the HOA were very satisfied with the results and would use Raise Crete again.

Arrived on time, performed the work quickly and professionally and then cleaned and finished the work area. Great job and great quality of work for a very reasonable price. <br />

One corner of the house had settled creating cracks in the concrete block walls of the garage. Raisecrete hand excavated the corner plus 1 area on the north wall, and 1 area on the east wall about 5 feet from the corner. They dug to approximately 2 feet below the foundation footer, placed #4 rebar in the areas excavated and poured 4000 PSI concrete to create new spread footers. After the new footers cured, heat treated steel plates were placed on the footers, then 30 ton bottle nose jacks on the plates, then heat treated steel plates on top of the jacks underneath the existing foundation. The jacks were used to raise the foundation back to its original position (as close as possible) and then encased in 4000 PSI concrete. The excavated areas were then backfilled with dirt. In addition, the stucco was removed from several areas along the cracks and carbon fiber strips epoxied to the concrete block. After curing, the carbon fiber patches and the cracks were covered with stucco. The only disappointment with the finished product is that the color of the new stucco is much darker than the existing stucco. <br />

It went well. They got here about 8am, and were done about 3 hours later. They did an excellent job. I think my husband will be very pleased when he comes home!

The service provider , Jeff, arrived to give us a quote. I was not available when he stopped by so when I was ready to have the driveway repaired Jeff arranged to meet me at a time that was convenient to me.  Jeff kept the appointment and arrived on time. He explained exactly how it was to be done and what he and his staff would be doing. We then arranged to have the repairs completed the next day. Once again Jeff and his team arrived on time and went right to work. When I arrived home they were still working and completed the project as we had agreed on.  During my inspection I asked for two additional areas to be repaired as both of us missed them in the beginning of the project. This was understandable as this was a very big job. Without any hesitation on Jeff's part his team repaired the additional areas at no additional charge. <br /> What I also was impressed about was that no money exchanged hands until I was completely satisfied and the job was complete. <br /> This is a company I would absolutely recommend and use again.   <br />

From start to finish, Jeff with Raisecrete was the consummate professional. When he showed up, on time, to give me a quote on some repair work I need done on our foundation walls, he performed a complete and thorough inspection of our crawlspace. He pointed out that water was getting into our crawlspace, that I knew nothing about. That was the main reason for the cracks in the foundation. Jeff also pointed out the massive cracks and uneven concrete on our patio. Jeff had given me a ballpark quote over the phone for the foundation repair and when I received his full proposal for the entire scope of work, the ballpark quote wasn't that much different the the proposal which did include mudjacking the patio and waterproofing the crawl space. After receiving his proposal I had contacted companies that did waterproofing just to compare apples to apples. I had other quotes on waterproofing your crawlspace and the other companies wanted to let the water in the crawlspace and add a sump pump. Jeff did it the way I preferred and excavated outside the foundation wall, added drains, coated the exterior wall and added a membrane to keep water from entering my crawlspace.When the work was completed Jeff told me that he had used carbon fiber strips on the foundation wall cracks with a lifetime warranty. After it rained I went into our crawlspace and there's not a drop of water under there. I feel a lot more comfortable about keeping the water out instead of letting it in and pumping out. I will highly recommend Jeff and Raisecrete to anyone in need of these services.

Love new walk way and stoop. Basement looks great!  Grass is coming in ok. Very reasonable rates compared to others. I had received quotes from maybe 5 others and they were 10k and more upwards of Jeff's quotes. Plus he did a great job. So far no more water.  He tells me to call him and that he will stand by his work if any comes back.  I recommend this company. <br />

Jeff & his men were on time, very courteous & well mannered. When they found an obstacle, they quickly figured out what had to be done. They were booked to do a job in Knoxville, but since I had no water & was sick they moved things around to get to me right away. I would highly recommend them to anyone! <br />

The work was completed within a few hours and the a/c pad looks great. Our a/c is now sitting correctly. <br /> <br />

Jeff was very professional and explained each step in detail when we got our estimate. He was great to work with. He built supports for the entire wall before beginning the job to keep everything as safe as possible. The job took several days to complete (as expected). Each day, we were told what to expect. Everything went as planned. Jeff went above and beyond "normal" repairs for our house. He was right with his crew every day working. They did a good job cleaning up when they completed the job. I was very nervous about having such extensive work done on our home and Jeff made this a much better than expected experience. <br />

Everything was very easy to deal with. The company made everything crystal clear, they answered all of my questions. They were all very courteous and professional. The workers would explain everything they were doing and would answer any questions I had. They were very knowledgable and I would recommend them to everyone looking to have similar work done.

We called Jeff and he gave us an estimate for his work.  Even though he was busy he worked our project in and got it done very quickly, staying until very late in the evening.  The floor looks 100% better than when he started, but later we found that the epoxy was unevenly applied.  This may have been due to the lateness of the hour (finished around 10:30 P.M.) and the fact that the lighting was not good at that time.  He is a very friendly and hard working person. <br /> <br />

We were very pleased with Jeff Fisher and his crew. The repairs were completed in one day and turned out very well. This was a very cost effective solution, and it certainly involved a lot less hassle than removing the old concrete, etc. We have a bit of a crazy work schedule, but Jeff was very good in working with us, working around that. We appreciated very much Jeff's responsiveness by phone and e-mail, giving advance notice about the crew's arrival schedule, etc. <br />

The job was extremely difficult and all I can say is that Jeff and his crew were resilient.  He did not give up and had to go get more bags of concrete.  Lifting a slab of this size has a lot of guess work involved.  Jeff tried to predict the amount of concrete, but due to the unknown condition below the slab, it took more.  Jeff and his courteous worked until the job was done, which took longer than expected.  He did not complain and kept a positive outlook being honest to the customer.  His predictions as far as how the slab would rise, what would happen to the existing cracks, and how the final job would look were fairly accurate.  He cleaned up thoroughly.  I want to say that doing this kind of work with a job such as ours, may not always have a perfect outcome, but under our circumstances, we were pleased.  One thing I appreciated about Jeff was his willingness to explain as he went and not treat me like I could not comprehend.  He took his time doing the job as he had described and bid on.  His bid was fairly thorough, and please remember, that some jobs have unknowns and customers need to be understanding.  Even though Jeff needed more concrete than he had arrive with, he said he would not charge us for the additional concrete, however, in all fairness, we insisted on paying a bit extra for the overall job.  I would hire Jeff and his crew again.

It was amazing. They were very very nice and answered all questions I had. They offered advice and ways to maintain the driveway. They were almost 1/2 the price of other companies.

The work was completed, but several areas on the shed had gaps, and many nails were pounded through the wood walls but were not anchored to anything. It is just a shed, however, so perfection was not really an issue. The roof had a slight problem that was fixed very quickly and efficiently. The employees were very friendly and very nice. They did have a couple issues with their work truck that postponed the job by a few days.

When quotes were requested from three companies, one would have taken apart my deck to complete the repairs. The other company would have drilled four holes in my solid oak flooring. Jeff found a way to do the repairs without damaging the house. When he arrived at 8:00 a.m., he recognized as he first suspected that the slab had not settled but that the wood under the siding and part of the siding had rotted from water leaking around the windows. After calling his remodeling friend to make sure the work could be done to correct the problem, including finding and eliminating future water leaks, they worked continually throughout the day until midnight to make sure the repair was done correctly and with treated lumber. They then corrected the trim inside the house, caulked everything correctly, repainted all the woodwork, inside and out, and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. I'm sure the labor and materials exceeded the original quote, but I was charged what was quoted.

The work was performed on-time, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The workers were very polite and extremely professional and cleaned up the entire area when they finished. I could not ask for a better, more thorough job and more professional people at a fair price.
