Ralph's - Electric Service

After searching for an electrician to install some lights above my entertainment system, I was never able to get someone to return calls. This went on for over 3 months until I got onto Angies List and found Ralph's Electrical Service. He promptly called me back and we set up time to discuss this project. I cannot tell you how surprised we were as to his responsiveness and ability to be at our home when he said he would be there. His work quality was excellent as well as the cleanliness of the work he performed. Ralph is a small operation but one that is very professional and qualified for any electrical service. I highly recommend him.

It went alright. Easy enough to schedule and Ralph showed up on time. Ralph does good work, but just ensure you check up on his completed work to be certain it meets your expectations 100%. He will fix any omissions on his part if you point them out.

Will use Ralph for all my future electrical needs. Gave me a time he would call me and then called early. Gave me a time he would show up to do the work and then showed up early! Took about 90 minutes and everything works perfectly. Very personable and took his time in explaining everything. Overall a great experience.

Honest service....problem proved to be electrical.

Not good. He spent 4 hours wringing out 3 wires, isolating fault in driveway entrance light and developing a cost quote, Basically he charged $500 to give me a quote. But the quote was to provide 3 men for a day for $1500 with no promise that anything would be accomplished - only a promise that "they would get as much accomplished as possible." He added that if it took longer it would be an additional cost. He did not propose to finish the job or even try to add the 120 Volt electrical cable or the outlet on the back of the house. He quoted 2 -250 foot rolls of 2-wire cable, when 180 feet was needed. When I questioned that excessive amount of wire, Ralph said it included the wire for the back yard water fountain project, even though the labor for that was not included in the estimate. Even if this was true, the backyard project required 3-wire uv cable to safely use with 120 volts. At best it was a sloppy quote that only estimated the cost elements, but made no representation regarding what would be done.

As usual Ralph was on time. Worked expeditiously and completed the project in an outstanding manner without wasting time. Price was fair. The work was not exceptionally technical, but his experience makes projects like this go much smoother than trying to do it yourself. There were wires that were not seated properly in the manufacturing of two of the three fans causing the fan and/or the light to not come on. He diagnosed those problems and fixed them on the spot. He always leaves the area clean when he is finished. Again job well done.

Excellent. Ralph came within a day & recommended the best way to re-install the outlet to make sure it was protected from the elements. He was very professional and efficient. I would highly recommend him.

Provided timely quote, he was the only provider to inspect the work to be done before providing an estimate instead of simply providing a broad price range. On the day of the work he arrived ahead of schedule, work was completed without issue.

Ralph did a great job. I had another electrician in my home who messed up all of the kitchen ceiling and switch lighting. Ralph saved the day! Very professional,punctual,neat ,efficient and best of all fixed all of my electrical problems!

Ralph was fantastic.  He showed up right on schedule, was very professional, listened to the issue and then methodically checked our our wiring.  He determined that there was the wrong manufacturer on one of the breakers, and that was where the issue was.  He replaced that breaker as well as some worn electrical outlets where the hold on the plug was not strong.  He is a professional, was great to work, with and I would use him again.  Thanks Ralph! <br />

Went well, Ralph came out on time and got power restored for tenant, haven't had any issue since then. <br />

He came early,he removed the old fixtures, and installed the new LED fixtures provided by the home owner. <br />Went great, honest contractor,reasonable rates, I will use him again. <br />

Ralph was very professional and friendly and did an excellent job communicating and executing.   He clearly explained everything that was to be done, and my wife and I are very happy with the results.  We will definitely use him again for any electrical needs. <br /> <br />

Work went well. I was replacing two wall appliances (single wall oven and microwave) with a double wall oven. There were some minor modifications to the cabinet they performed without problems.  It took five days from the time I requested a quote to hear back, but everything else was punctual.  The price was also very competitive with others quotes I received. <br />
