That service turned out well, but the work was sub-contracted out. The work got done, but the prices did increase.  They removed a large tree and the stump was ground down, but they did not remove the chips.

It was okay. They ended up sending 3 people for just 2 hours. They were not really prepared and did not have the right equipment in my estimation. I had to get trash bags for them to pick up the clippings. They said that they were not going to haul it off, but they did come back a few days later and picked up the trash bags. I had no problems with the scheduling.

I purchased one of the Angies list deals for 6 hours of yard work. I think the provider became overwhelmed with the response. After some back and forth, we were finally able to set a date for service. Instead of 6 hours of work with one person, we got 2 hours of work with three workers. I needed my front flower bed's old mulch and leaves cleaned out and two beds in the back with some leaves on the ground. My yard is not big. Neither are the flower beds. However, the workers were only able to do two and half beds (one if the flower beds they cleaned out, I didn't really mean for them to - this was just a miss communication on my part). The back bed was only half done when the time ran out, but they were able to get one of the smaller beds and yard cleaned up and bagged.  <br /> The front, however, is what I was most disappointed with. I have a soaker hose that goes throughout and wrapped around the base of my hydrangeas. When I went out to check on the work, the hose had been pulled up in parts and was piled all willy-nilly on top of the hydrangeas. I still haven't been able to sort it out and have tried to just get it to lay as flat on the ground as possible. It's only half worked.  <br /> Overall, my experience with Ramsey was a C, but I think it might have been because they were overloaded with call from their Angie's List deal. <br />

They were overwhelmed by the response to the special.  They were prompt in contacting me but difficult to schedule.  Essentially, I had to take the time they offered or wait until fall.  They sent 3 people for 2 hours = the 6 I paid for.  The work they did was fine but sure dint seem like I got 6 hours worth.  They never followed up to see if I was satisfied or if I wanted to pay extra for the work they didn't get done.  Which i probably would have.  They are probably a fine company.  Just too busy i guess. <br />

Horrible.  Kept changing the date, said that too many people were using Angie's special.  Finally came out but 3 hours was not enough time for 2 people.  Said I could buy extra time which I did (2 hours) but then they said that they were done (would not complete the job).  I told them I would pay to have them come back to finish the job but they refused.  They said that they would have one of their "partner" companies call me to finish the job. No one ever called and I had to finish the job myself.  I'm in my late 60's with a stent in my heart.  It nearlly killed me.  It would have been much easier for me if they had moved all of the mulch bags to each bed where it had to be applied but they only did one bed at a time.  They did the two beds in my front yard but the other three beds that were in my back yard were not done.   I had to haul the mulch over my shoulder to each bed.   No one should ever use this company. <br />

The 3 person crew was supposed to arrive at 1400 hours.  Britnie called at 1430 saying they were on their way and would arrive in the next 10 min.  My daughter arrived from work 10 min later, they arrived within 5 min of her arriving.  When they arrived and Britnie saw the yard she let out an audible groan and from the start was very unhappy.  One of the first things I told her I needed was for a sprouting tree to be cut down.  It was growing against my garage and would tear up the foundation if it continued to grow. 6 weeks later that tree is still there. I spoke with Kirk about it  8 days ago on 5/8/14 and he said he would be out the following day to cut it down.  The 2 young men she brought with her worked diligently on every command she gave them.  She often went to her truck to rest, leaving only the 2 men to work.  I was not concerned that cut into the 6 hours I had paid for because the men were doing such a good job. 2 large trees, far above 4 feet tall, were cut down so an inability to cut the small tree would not make sense. Prior to 1600 hours they began shutting down what they were doing to leave.  One of the men had a child he needed to get after school.  I asked what about the rest of the time I had paid for.  Would it be refunded or would they come back to finish up.  She said they arrived at 2:30 and it was 4:15 so they really didn't owe me any additional time. That prompted my daughter to take pictures of the mess they left unaccomplished and prompted me to take pictures of my caller ID with Britnie's phone number on it showing the time she called to say they were running late and of my watch as they pulled out of my driveway at 1607.  Leaving at 1607 and arriving at 1445 means they were only at my residence a total of 1 hour and 23 min.  That is a difference of 37 min times 3 people or 111 min I paid for and did not receive.  When I spoke with Kirk I had said that if the tree were cut down by the garage I would call it a day and I would be happy enough with that.  So far no Kirk, no offer of reimbursement of the time paid for and not received. Also have not heard anything else from him as to why he did not follow through. No, I would not use them again or give them a reference to use.  I did ask her about my backyard which had 2 trees come down in it, asking if they could work on that if I paid them for it another time.  She took pictures and said she would show them to Kirk and he would call me about it.  That never happened either so I felt she was not honest with me or him and did not want him to contact me to make him aware of what occurred. <br />

Everything went well after the first part, where I was explaining what needed to be done and one of the helpers was smoking a cigarette and blowing the smoke in my face. He was told to go somewhere else, and after that, everything went great! <br /> They did a good job, worked fast, and were polite. I'd hire them again. <br />

The Job went great.  Ramsey landscaping gave me my bid and had a crew out here within a week.  They pay attention to detail and did a wonderful job on transforming our back yard into a beautiful piece of property that was unusable before.  The whole crew was proffesional and met every need I had and then some.  They all take great pride in their work and I will be using them again for other landscaping jobs I will have for my property.  I would recommend Ramsey Landscaping to anyone without hesitation.   I can't say enough good things about Kirk and his team.  It is the best money I have spent in a long time and they were a joy to work with. <br />

Three people arrived timely at 12:30 (I had asked for an afternoon appt), but did not call beforehand, which was okay because we were home. They got right to work and two out of the three worked quickly.  They did a very good job. I called the owner and he went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the job.  I only would have asked that the areas where the leaves were removed would have been blown off with the blower (to blow the dirt away). Other than that, they did a good job!! <br />

They were prompt and did good work.  Felt they could have suggested changes for  better results. <br />

Three people worked for 2 hours for  a total of 6 hours work,  They did a very good job. <br />

I feel they wasted my time.  The guy was real upfront stating he would get back with me one way or the other and did not.  Didn't give me an estimate or respond at all to my request to have my proxy pebble drive way repaired.

3 young people and they worked very hard. I was very pleased. <br />

The work was perfomed exactly as to my specifications.  Mr. Ramsey even made a few suggestions to my original plan that made the area look better than I expected.  The work was performed on time. The work area was cleaned up after the job and all excess materials were removed and the area was raked clean. <br />

Ramsey landscapes did a fantastic job for me. <br /> Mr. Ramsey is a great contractor that is very knowledgeable <br /> and was always happy to answer any questions I had. Ramsey landscapes finished my border 3 days early and I absolutely love it! I got 3 quotes and Ramsey landscapes had was the cheapest I have recommended Ramsey landscapes to several  of my friends and will use them for all of my landscaping needs from now on! <br /> <br />
