This is an old house and every room is a step up or down from the next. We wanted the living room floor to blend with the dining room in level and in appearance. A different wood thickness had to be used in both rooms in order for the end result to be level with no step up/down at the entrance. The job was completed with the wood flooring blending nicely in both rooms. Also, because we have a dog, Mr. Garris put a durable finish on the floor and it has held up beautifully over the years.
