NOTE: After the fact -- when I asked him when the inspection was scheduled -- provider disclosed that HE IS NOT A LICENSED PLUMBER. I had to hire another (licensed) plumber to reinstall the hot water heater, pull the permits, and get the installation inspected. <br /> This cost an additional $750, because Rapid Repairs had not installed the hot water heater properly. <br /> Plumbing is an activity that requires a license in the State of New Jersey. So, if you advertise yourself as "Plumbing and Handyman" and you don't have a license, you are committing fraud. When dealing with the installation of items like gas hot water heaters, this can result in catastrophe. <br /> This company should not be allowed to advertise themselves as doing "plumbing." I don't understand why Angie's List is enabling this kind of fraudulent behavior. <br />

We called rapid repairs about our broken water heater. Elly came over and quoted us a price that was very reasonable compared to other plumbers we called. After we agreed on the price, Elly went to work. By that afternoon we had wonderful hot water again.

We were getting very frustrated about trying to get someone to fix this toilet. A similar repair some years ago cost about $150, <br /> but the new super in our building said this repair would cost about $400! We considered it....then logged on to Angie?s List. <br /> Rapid Repairs referred us to a plumber near to us and he arrived that afternoon. He assessed the problem, left to buy the needed part and fixed the toilet when he returned. The bill: $160. <br /> We were so grateful for the speedy, efficient help we got and highly recommend this company. <br /> <br /> <br />

Bathroom plumbing problems are always unpleasant and very inconvenient.. But with Rapid Repairs you have professionalism, punctuality and a willingness to take the time to make certain the job is well done. As Mr. Miller worked diligently we enjoyed great conversation and he shared some maintenance tricks with me to keep my plumbing in good working order. While I still hate plumbing problems, meeting Mr. Miller was a great experience and next time I need a plumber, he will be my first call and I will be referring him to my friends.. <br />

Elly was extremely professional and courteous. He arrived on time and worked diligently to complete the job. Though the project ended up being bigger than either of us expected (the drain from the sink to the main line had to be lowered), Elly saw it through to the end. Would definitely recommend. <br />

awful before repairing radiator it was necessary to drain all the water from heating system, this was done. after radiator was repaired he did not know how to refill water into system. left residence without completing job. worst plumber i have met. now i must find another plumber to complete job. will not use angies list if this plumber is again listed. additionally the area he repaired has now sprung a huge leak and the water has dripped onto my first floor ceiling, damaging the furniture and the carpeting. our apartment is a complete mess.. he later informed me that he usually only works on steam systems and not hot water systems. then why did he perform the work on my hot water system? <br />

<p>First I talked to his secretary (very nice AND helpful .) I asked a bunch of questions</p> , ALL answered. I asked for a phone call when the plumber was on the way. As this is a home I am an executor for. Not only did I receive a call , but he was there a couple of minutes EARLIER than said. After a short while , the problem was quickly identified ; but being older set of faucets ,he needed to go get the parts. The deal I purchased was for 2 hrs plumbing for $99.Well rush hour is nuts around here , and places like home depot did not have the part. It took a little time to get the part. It took a little longer than the 2 hours of the deal I bought, but not charged any extra. ALSO , I was showed the receipt for the parts , and he added that price with NO mark up. BOTTOM line was I happy...no... was elated AND amazed. I WILL be using him / them again on my home <br />

Eli is very professional. He arrived on time, did the work as promised and made sure to clean up after the work was completed. We were so happy with his work that we asked him to install a storm door for us a few weeks later. He did a great job with the storm door as well. <br />

Everything went well. He was able to promptly schedule an appointment, and quickly resolved all issues in my apartment to the satisfaction of the current tenant who is very difficult to satisfy. Elly showed up on time and was very professional and friendly. He charged a reasonable price for his services. He fixed all problems in a short time frame. I would not hesitate to use Rapid Repairs in the future for other repairs and troubleshooting. <br />

We were experiencing water leaking out from the wall and it has to be a broken water pipeline sealed somewhere in the wall. Elly was the only one plumber, out of seven, I called that day who is able to attend to this issue immediately. He literally located the leaking spot in 3 minutes and fixed the problem in an hour, this included a trip he made to HomeDepot. Very impressed. <br />

I called Elly early Monday morning (a holiday, no less) having had a sleepless night over a major blockage in my home's plumbing. He showed up at 10:00 a.m. and didn't leave until after 4:30. The previous owners had cleaned their grouting tools in the kitchen sink leading to a massive backup in 2 major lines. By the time Elly left I had free-flowing sinks and commodes throughout the house. I can't say enough about Elly. He was prompt, courteous, efficient, and he cleaned up the black, greasy, mess caused by routing out the pipes. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, nor to use him again. Thanks, Elly!
