As of today they have not done what they committed to. They committed to a two year labor warranty and are not available. I have reached out to Angie's List for assistance in contacting RAS A/C & Heating Services due them being absolutely unresponsive.

Very pleased with service. I have used RAS a number of times over the years. Price may be slightly higher than others but this is easily outweighed by performance.

1. They did a really good job. When the air flow balance wasn't to my liking they came back and fixed it right away. Also built new intake boxes to my guidelines. ($2000-2200, don't really remember exact amount) 2. Their tech was good at troubleshooting and pin pointing what was wrong. Was able to replace part the next day. ($200 for parts and labor) 3. Tech troubleshooted a bad capacitor and was able to replace it onsite and this was an after hours call. (aournd $185 for parts and labor) 4. Tech troubleshooted a bad control board. Took a day to get replacement board as this was a weekend call. ($400 for parts and labor) Their techs are pretty good at troubleshooting especially Jose. I would use them again.

Excellent service and installation. Although I got a slightly lower cost estimate from a local competitor, RAS was used because they have provided excellent replacement and repair services over the years.

They came out within a few hours of the call and fixed the problem for a reasonable price, the technician was on time and very knowledgably and explained everything to me, I will definitely call these guys again.

The office person was very courteous and prompt. The technician, Eloi, came on time and checked everything and was very courteous, professional and honest. I highly recommend RAS. I have signed up for their maintenance contract.

technician came out within the time stated. no freon was offered although it was part of the package to which i paid. i was told that the aged unit needed to be replaced. as well, i was informed that the freon was very expensive for the unit and the levels were far too low to make a difference. he left work needed invoice and stated a representative would be contacting me in the next few days with an estimate for a new system. several weeks passed with no follow-up from the company. when i reached out for the estimate that should have been prepared, i was told there was not enough data to make a determination. a new home visit would be required. the owner worked me into his Saturday schedule. the estimate was very high, even for a Trane system. i do appreciate that he called back after our visit to verify if i wanted to move forward. based on his attention, i felt much better about the previous interaction with the company. nevertheless, this is my review.

Freon is never offered with any package by any A/C company simply due to the fact that we don't know how much would be needed, which type your system needs. The price we charge for R-22 is actually cheaper than most of our competition - we call other companies regularly to price check. We will work on our communication efforts to make sure we respond to quote requests in a more timely manner. Thank you for taking the time to give us some feedback!"

The technician showed up in time, seemed knowledgeable, diagnosed and fixed the issue. However, the amount he charged for the work was unreasonable. After talking to the company about charges, the owner called back and refunded part of the amount.

This was a case of a gigantic, multi-ton high-voltage machine being hobbled by a very tiny and loose low-voltage wire that had probably loosened due to vibrations, and eventually disconnected within its little insulator cap. The expensive Nest smart thermostat helped to solve the problem by indicating that it wasn't receiving the voltage that it needed to do its job and to keep its emergency battery fully charged. In order for the Nest thermostat to indicate this situation (since its battery had completely discharged), it was necessary for me (the owner) to purchase a micro-USB-to-USB cable from Radio Shack ($16) so that the Nest thermostat's battery could be externally re-charged, thus enabling the LCD display to be viewed and interpreted. Since the technician had to go up onto the roof to open the air-conditioner to get to the Rh wire connector, he also checked all of the other voltages and connections and determined that all were as they should be.

Our window for service was 3PM - 5PM. <br /> We called and emailed multiple times because we had not heard a word from anyone since setting the appointment. At 5:45PM, someone at the office let us know that a technician would arrive within 30 minutes. At 8:30, the technician finally arrived with no notice. The technician was supposed to call us when they were on their way. After less than 10 minutes at my home, the technician said there was nothing wrong with my system and left. It had been over 12 months since my AC had been serviced and I was confident it -at min- needed freon. Sure enough, I had a different AC company come check and my system need Freon - and they didn't charge me for it. <br /> It is very frustrating dealing with a 'window' to receive service but it is intolerable to have no communication about how that 'window' was incorrectly calculated. <br />
