R&C has been, by far, the most inept company I?ve ever worked with. I hired them to do an extension of an existing detached garage by about 50?. I got multiple bids, and their pricing was in the middle. Their time frame to complete the job worked for me, so I paid them a 25% deposit and started. They told me 6-8 weeks to complete the job. I paid them another 25% progress payment and paid for all the subs along the way. They were unable to explain why I paid a 25% progress payment since I was paying for all the subs as they went. This was a contract price, not a cost-plus. To date, I have paid 90% of what the contact price is, and I still have to pay for drywall, HVAC, and finish electrical. Here is a list of their ineptitude: They poured concrete in an area that I didn?t tell them or approve and then charged me for it.
