I hired RCL Home Service to install railings on the steps at my home, and the experience has been extremely disappointing. At the time of installation, I expressed concerns about how loosely the railings were secured. Unfortunately, those concerns were justified?since then, the railings have become completely detached. The railings came with proper hardware, but it was not used. Instead, the installer chose screws that were far too small for the job. All of the original hardware, including the wrenches, was taken with them, leaving nothing behind. I paid in full for the work, and I have repeatedly requested that they return to properly repair and secure the railings, so the job is completed correctly. I was told they would come back when the weather improved. We have had several warm days suitable for repairs, yet no follow?up and no attempt to make things right. I have given them every opportunity to address this issue.

Pulled up carpet in a bedroom & cleaned all the mess!! Carried a loveseat to the basement & recliner to the garage!! Great job!! We are pleased & will have him back for more work!!

When I first had this company do small projects for me, I was impressed with the work, however, as the projects kept being done, he was always in such a hurry. He had so many customers to handle, he did not have time to really do a good job. He replaced a vanity in a bathroom, and cracked the drain pipe (2 inch crack). It was left. It began to leak and ruined my ceiling in my living room. So now all the plumbing and ceiling need replaced at my cost. He installed bead board on another bathroom along with trim. It was the worst job I have ever seen. I sat down and cried after he left. Again at my out-of-pocket costs, I now have a beautiful bathroom installed properly. He needs to be up front with customers that his scope of work does not include plumbing, electrical or fine carpentry. Horrible job...
