RC Remodeling

Mike Hart is a scam artist. Had a deck and bedroom that needed torn down and rebuilt. Mike tore the deck and bedroom down in July 2024. Then says he got a hernia and delayed doing anymore work that summer and fall. I did pay him for the demolition of the bedroom and deck. Said he had to have hernia surgery in fall of 2024 and would have to complete the job in spring of 2025. He convinced me to give him a check for $5800 to buy lumber and other materials needed for completion of the deck and bedroom in the fall of 2024 because prices would be lower then than in the spring. Contacted Mike in April of 2025 to see when he would be able to complete the project but told me he had to ?retire? because his hernia wasn?t completely healed. When it came time for my new contractor to complete the project, he contacted Mike to make arrangements to met Mike at Mike?s storage facility to pick up the lumber but Mike made multiple excuses as to why he wasn?t available to met him. He is not retired.

Mike showed up and was very pleasant and was unable to complete the job of replacing a cartridge in my bathroom faucet because it was corroded. I have Moen , so I was able to get a new one at no cost and he said he would replace the faucet when it came in. I just needed to let him know when it came in. Six days later it came in and I called and he said he needed a few days because of gallbladder surgery. I called back 10 days later and he was in the middle of a project and asked me to give him a couple of days. I gave him 5. When I called he did not answer. I called the next day and again no answer. So I texted him a day later asking if he planned on coming back to finish the job I paid him for. He replied , I am sending you a check. After 5 days I texted him and said if he did not return my money I would contact Angi. He was very upset with me that and said not to threaten him and that the check was sent MINUS a 30% service charge. As of this writing I have NOT received a check.

What stood out to me was their professionalism, and their ability to work quickly. Also, he was very knowledgeable and an expert in his field himself.

Mike showed up on time and completed the job quickly and professionally.Checked all the boxes did all you would expect.Would hire again.

It was perfect, he was punctual, he texted me and showed up when he said he was going to come. He took all the measurements and everything he needed the first time he was here and then the next time he came, he fixed it.

Excellent! He did everything he said he was going to do. He did it when he said he was going to be done. He was punctual. And I am very happy with the result.

He was a worker, he was prompt, he was here within days, He did a spectacular job, it look wonderful, He work diligently, he never took break. He got it done a within half a day which was amazing, He was efficient and diligent and he was a very nice man. I intend on calling him for the future projects.

Mike Hart is a scammer who took my money and did no work. They very little he did was all messed up, and had to be redone by actual professionals.
