RDM Landscaping expertly removed a huge, nature, dead chestnut oak without harming the fence and terrace next to it. They also did excellent pruning is a sugar maple that was planted too close to the house. The tree is healthier and better-shaped due to the expert work. The crew went above-and-beyond our expectations with the yard clean-up following the tree work.

They did a good job, I can't complain about the work. The biggest complaint I have is that I was told I would receive a written receipt was the work was done. I needed a receipt for my home insurance company. However, after making repeated phone calls and sending text messages, I never received the receipt. Yes, I did print out the check. Fortunately for me, that's all I needed for the insurance company. Nevertheless, I felt that I was lied to and I would never use the service again. My mistake is that I made a verbal agreement. I should have created a written agreement and had it in writing that I would receive the receipt once the work was done. I will not make that same mistake again.

Initially the owner was very responsive, even coming to quote us on the same day we called. Thereafter it was a little difficult to reach him. Finally we were able to schedule the work. While the crew came later than expected, they did an excellent job, explained the work in detail and performed professionally. The area where the french drain was installed looks better than it did before. I have had several heavy rains since the french drain was installed and there is no water in my basement!:)))) Ray saved me thousands of dollars that basement waterproofing companies wanted me to pay to diagnose and "waterproof" my basement. The key is to move water away from the house which RDM is excellent at doing. For the price paid, I believe I got a very good deal. I will definitely hire RDM in the future and recommend them to anyone looking to install a french drain and/or move water away from exterior walls.

They gave us a very reasonable price and began to do the work promptly. Suddenly with our previous grass ripped up, they failed to show up for days on end leaving our front yard a muddy mess. They would not respond to phone calls. Finally he responded and came back to finish the job after a couple weeks of being out of the country without notifying us. When they finally came back they installed the grass. We did our best to water it regularly but it quickly became brown and had many spots of dead grass from the beginning. They promised to come back and repair that and the drain/ gutter that they had knocked out of place while doing the work. They never responded to calls for a couple more weeks. Then he finally did and promised to come the next day. Since then, and it has been several more weeks, they again are not responding to any messages. They have been very unprofessional. Do not hire.

Ray is fantastic! I've used RDM twice, and I plan to continuing using them for future projects. Ray is a great guy who follows through on his word. You can trust him to do the job, do it well, and do it timely. His workers are respectful and they clean up the area afterwards. I couldn't be happier with the work RDM did for me. :-)

I chose RDM Landscaping out of the 4 contractors I had bid on the job. Ray was very knowledgeable and explained exactly what they would do very well. He left me with the impression that they would do a quality job and not cut any corners which is why I chose RDM over a couple lower priced bids. Work is completed now and I am very pleased with the quality and appearance of the steps, railing, and wall. Ray is a really nice guy, helpful, very knowledgeable about his business, explains things well, and they do good work. The one negative of the experience was that at one point Ray did not return my texts for 3 days and another time for 2 days. It was raining almost every day which was delaying the project and I requested updates. I read a couple other reviews from people who had a hard time getting in touch with Ray so I got a bit worried. In the end, when the weather got better, they came and completed the job. I spoke to Ray frankly about the need to improve his responsiveness because it could really hurt his otherwise great business. I hope they improve in this area. On the plus side, besides the well done finished project, Ray helped out with a couple small things that were outside the scope of work which I greatly appreciated. They filled a gap on the bottom of our concrete front porch and he also noticed that a corner on the side of our house where the chimney jutted out was collecting water so they added some concrete to divert the water. After power washing the new steps they also power washed the back concrete patio. Overall, I am happy with my choice and I have already hired RDM again to do some tree trimming.

The owner and workers arrived on time and cleared front and back areas within one day. The next day they laid the sod in the back and front yards. The third day the sod was completely laid and we were told to water for the first 10 days, which we did and we had a lot of rain to allow the sod to connect with soil. The back yard looks great, however, the front yard has a lot of spots where the sod must not have been good. The amount of rain since the project was completed the last of April and up to now, the sod in the front yard should look like the back. The sod was not good. Contacted Raymundo 3 times to let him know, however; he does not return my call or my husband's call.

Ray was fantastic to work with. He was very professional and responsive and all the work is of very high quality. Everyone on his crew was professional -- showed up on time, worked efficiently, considerate, cleaned up everything -- they were great. Everything was done very quickly with minimal inconvenience.

Ray did not finish the project within the scope we agreed on, we were understanding about the delays caused by changes in weather but beyond that - it was a very frustrating experience trying to get ahold of Ray to get him to come out and finish the project. Weeks passed without any communication from him, we gave up and cancelled the contract. The entire scope of the project was not finished, we had to hire someone to come and finish some parts, we finished some parts of it ourselves. We would not recommend Ray for any project.

The various jobs went very well, the workers were professional and did the job in a timely manner. We are very pleased with their services

It was excellent. This was great. They were always wonderful to work with. They cleaned up after themselves. I didn't really compare pricing. I don't know how to grade that. Maybe they're higher. Quality was excellent.

RDM did a terrific job. I couldn't be more happy with the quality of the work. Ray, the owner, was great to work with and I highly recommend his company to anyone considering a serious landscaping project, especially one involving stone work.

Raymundo Diaz and his skilled workmen did a fantastic job with the cleanup, retaining walls removal and restoration, and stairs, fences and walkway removal and installation. It was very quick and painless for us. We would recommend them to others who need their services.

RMD Landscaping arrived as scheduled and worked diligently until the job was completed. During the process, Raymundo showed me the water sitting in the underlying concrete so there was no question about the source of the problem: Specifically, RDM performed the following: (a) filled in the cider blocks with concrete; (b) re-surfaced the walls (c) added vents for water release at the bottom of the walkout basement door; and replaced the old brick trim with new bricks. It was a pleasure doing business with the company. Next, I plan to contract with RDM for tree removal and tree trimming service.

Raymundo examined the patio area and very quickly, provided a very competitive oral quote. Within a few hours, he followed up with an electronic written quote with accompanying photos of work he has completed for other customers. In approximately 2-1/2 weeks after I signed the contract, RDM's two-man crew completed the work in about 10 hours on a Sunday in near 100-degree weather. After project completion, the crew cleaned the area and hauled the old fencing away. Raymundo inspected the work and provided a demonstration of the locking mechanism despite the beginning of a heavy rain. Finally, Raymundo alerted me to another issue on my property and promised to provide a written quote. I would gladly hire RDM Landscaping again.
