Richard did a great job. He arrived when he said he would. Fixed the valve in about an hour. He arrived with the correct part because I sent him pictures of the broken valve, so he was able to buy what I needed on the way to my house. Charged me $200. I was satisfied with this price. I would definitely use him again. Can you tell the before and after?

Oil Boiler or Radiator Heating System - Repair
He replaced a part of the electric system on the boiler. It took one hour and a half to complete. The boiler shut off after three hours and would not turn back on. I called the repair man and he wants to charge me additional service fee and cost of more parts. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. he told me the original estimate would take care of the problem and saw no other issues with my boiler. It only worked for three hours. This is unfair.

"Intial problem was a bad electronic control. Confirmed in front od customer, replaced in front of customer and boiler works. She was having fuel issues, control is still working confirmed by customer but boiler will not relight on its own. Customer confirmed its been two years since a tune up, these issues sound exactly like a clogged oil filter. I will show customer filter is clogged, replace and show customer repairs are done."

This plumber had taken over accounts from our previous plumber that moved out of State. Rich was a great help. He took initiative to start the warranty process for a Boiler that was totally corroded within 4yrs. Rich also did the demolition removal of the old unit and installed the new unit. All done in 1 day. Great customer service. We would absolutely use this guy again.

He responded to my post, I sent pictures and questions, he shsred his 94 5 star reviews from here, gave me a price and shared his 1 year warranty. ,while here also completed more work needed in boiler room for a very fair price. Extremely knowledgeable in his trade. Pipes were unsweat, cleaned, rheemed and pro-pressed. Industry standard procedure.

Rich was called by Magic Water Mitigation to help identify and repair a leak in my home which was causing a flood on my second floor, leaking into my first floor and saturation of floor, ceiling and walls. RDS Plumbing and Heating, owned by (NAME REMOVED), has provided subpar services that have raised several concerns. I paid $2700 for the installation of a Roth outside oil tank and removal of my old basement oil tank. However, the installation was not completed in accordance with industry standards. The lack of an aerator, which is essential for Roth oil tanks, was discovered by my oil company. Furthermore, the Roth tank was not installed on a concrete slab, thereby voiding my thirty-year warranty. (NAME REMOVED) also failed to complete the warranty booklets, which is a necessary step. When I asked (NAME REMOVED) about his experience with Roth oil tank installations, he stated that he had done so multiple times. It is also noteworthy that RDS Plumbing and Heating's website is currently not operational.

"We will gladly install a airator for for customer for 450 dollars plus tax. The services noted and paid for invoice were completed. An airator install (labor and parts are not noted on estimate or paid invoice, verbal or written. The price for airator and copper has recently gone up via our local distrubutors. Although it is clear the customer wants a part and service for free. To reiterate the part (airator) and service (install) was never noted invoice nor disscussed. All parts and labor noted on invoice were done above industry standard and paid for by customer. This was explained clearly during the last phone discussion weeks after the oil tank installation."
