Joe Vsetula and his crew were very neat and clean with their process of the project. Cleaned up immediately any debris as a result of the installs. Very punctual. Very helpful with suggestions of projects. Kept to bid price.
Provider explain every step of the process....was helpful in cost of materials....willing to work with client. Honest and direct about materials place in the home. Suggestion what should be done first in remodeling a home...was very helpful. Allow the client, to pick materials wanted....even in the middle of the work....patient. Client was very picky....but he was very patient.....and completed with the work....
My remodel started on 4/7/14 and we are still finishing up as of 7/14/14. The remodel was supposed to take 3 weeks. Joe was at all times disrespectful of my time, many times stating he would be here to complete something at a certain date and time and not showing up or calling. I was forced to cancel or reschedule many personal appointments after which I was stood up and the work again was not completed. The work that was completed was many times not done in a professional manner.

For example, Joe took two days to lay the tile on the bottom of the shower then had to tear it out (another day) because he placed it prior to the granite going in. Then he took another 2 days to relay the floor. After all this time, the floor was not set right and does not drain properly, causing me to squeegee it after each use to drain it. Another example, he installed 2 out of 3 faucets backwards, hot being cold and cold being hot. It took weeks for me to get him back to fix that. Another example, he attempted to install the flooring and ended up having to call in a professional to complete it properly, this took another week or so to get done.

Don't expect him to work full days, he worked an average of less than 3 hours a day including the time spent by subcontractors. In addition, he doesn't plan his days in advance so he finds himself having to leave the site and run and get supplies . Many days he has left promising to return and just never returned, no call to inform me what was going on. He left in the middle of putting in the shower floor to look for a drain, that took him 5 hours and he never called or came back. He had me order the flooring 2 weeks before the project started, which I did. On the day he was to lay the floor was when he went to pick it up only to find out that the flooring I picked out needed to be ordered. As a result of this, I had to spend another day picking flooring and was restricted to what they had on hand, thus ending up with flooring I was not crazy about. It was that or wait a another week.

Joe does not seem to be familiar with contracting basics, see the shower floor and faucets above. In addition, the sinks I picked out were vessel style.I reminded Joe that the counter needed to be constructed lower to compensate for the hight of the sinks above the counters. He stated that wasn't necessary. I now have sinks that come to my upper chest and have to use a step stool to use them.

It took 6 weeks to get the cabinets made and involved me going to the cabinet shop numerous times. While I understand Joe was not responsible for this, he was the project manager and should have either made sure they were done in a timely manner or get another cabinet maker.

In general I was bitterly disappointed, angry and exhausted with this project. I can not recommend Re-new construction or it's owner Joe.
6 weeks project not completed after 6 months. Failed to pay subcontractor assisted unlicensed sub to file illegal actions on us.
Non responsive during project to our requests to complete work and supervise work. Several of our items missing from our home. Several violations of state codes, investigated by state agencies. Terminated communication with us "lawyer 's advise". Several breach of contract violations. Continued Harrasment of our property and personal lives. Project incompleted and non functional, tied up with legal actions. Threats, intimidation. Financial and personal nightmare!
