Reach Higher Painting

Daniel and his company have done 4 jobs for us and all have been excellent. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Reach Higher Painting was engaged to repaint the interior of my rental property in white on 7/8/2019. I gave Carlos (one of the partners) $1300 in cash and a check dated the 07/22/2019 for $1300 for a total price of $2,600. They committed to completing the job in "2 or 3 days". I furnished an electric generator for their use in running their sprayers. Having not heard from Reach Higher by 7/13/2019 I visited & reviewed the property. I found the paint job incomplete with all of the doors off their hinges upright in the Living Room apparently drying from wet paint. The AC was going full blast and the door between the kitchen and the garage wide open. There was a thin piece of plastic lying on the floor of the garage where your employee had obviously attempted to put up plastic between the rooms. I had not given anyone the permission to run the AC, as I was unsure of the unit's status. Sometime in the next week Carlos represented that the job was complete, so I reviewed it. I became quite upset by what I saw. There were numerous oversprays in most of the rooms, including all over the cabinetwork. Meeting Carlos at the property he admitted that the he had not reviewed the work, assuming the employee had done it properly. Carlos immediately undertook to clean up some of the issues. Frankly there was so much wrong that I couldn’t point out all of the issues. On July 27 of this year I received a call from Carlos claiming that my check on Schwab Bank had bounced. I asked him to confirm the account number on the check I’d given him and positively confirmed the account number as correct. Due to his record on Angie’s List, I didn’t question his claim & immediately gave him $1300 in cash along with a bounced check charge. Frankly it wasn't until the next week that I called Schwab when the "bounced check" failed to appear on my internet statement. I asked Schwab to perform a detailed review and they determined that no checks had even been presented this year on the account. On 9/29/19 I hired SNS Home Services to lay a laminate floor in 3 bedrooms of the property. Sometime shortly after beginning the job they called and complained that the AC was not working due to the coil being clogged with white paint. I called Infinite Air to service the unit. They determined that paint was clogging the entire coil which had caused the airhandler's transformer to overheat and burn out. I paid $400 to correct this issue. It was at this point that I noticed additional issues with the paint job which included the back of one of the bedroom doors that should have been painted showing the words “Ray Roy” scrawled on the back. The "Roys" were the previous tenants in the property as of May of this year. If the job had been completed correctly then those words would have been painted over. I contacted Carlos and presented all of this evidence including detailed pictures of the back of the door and the clogged AC Coil showing the white paint. I asked Reach Higher reimburse me for the $400 I paid for the AC repair. They agreed to do so, but asked that I accept $100 per week until paid in full. I agreed to this arrangement and sent them a request for this money weeks ago. I haven’t heard from them and they’ve not repaid any amounts.

They did an amazing job! They were punctual, professional and flexible to work with; they made the visions I had for my home projects come true! I’m super pleased with their work and would recommend to anyone.

This was an overall excellent experience! Daniel and his whole crew at Reach Higher Painting are amazing! They painted the exterior of my home and the whole interior and did an amazing job ! Daniel is very good at getting back to you via phone call or via text and gets the job done fast I am very please with the service and would definitely use this painting company again ! Very thorough job and detail of the painting!

This contractor offered me a fair price on the exterior work and a great price on interior, they also live in my neighborhood so I went with them. Pressure washing was great except my curb was not done, when I asked him to come back and pressure wash the curb he said his curb wasn't clean either... The exterior paint on the house looks great, employees were nice and did a good job. The numbers on the exterior of my house took months for them to put back on. When they finally were they looked like crap. Excessive dripping glue and one actually fell and broke. As for the interior work it was never completed. Contractor told me his "drywall guy" only works on Saturdays which does not work with my schedule, so I did the drywall work myself. When I asked about finishing the job and doing the interior texture and paint I was told his "texture guy" also only works on Saturdays. I have given up on trying to work with this company thankfully they were not paid for interior work as nothing was done. My recommendation would be to look elsewhere as this company clearly has no pride in its work.

We were very pleased with the job that Reach Higher Painting did. All the workers were professional, respectful and perfectionists. We would use them again and recommend them to others.

The owner of the business returned my phone call promptly and scheduled the work right away. He honored the coupon available on Angie’s List and gave us a reasonable price for some extra work we wanted done. They only sent one guy to do the painting though and then had him try to finish the job in one day. He worked well over 10 hours on the job. He did a nice job of the living room and laundry room, but was a bit sloppy with the work in the hallway and master bathroom. I had to ask to have a second coat put on the master bathroom the next day. I also had to do some touch up work in there as well as some clean up work in the hallway. I would hire them again based on the work the guy did in the living room and based on the value for the price though.

The painting crew from Reach Higher Painting were professional, highly-skilled, and hard-working. The quality of their painting dramatically improved the quality and beauty of our renovation. In fact, their work was so good that we contracted with RHP to paint and re-paint the remainder of our 5500+ sq. ft. home including 12' ceilings.

Everything went well however the charge was $2,200 because of the size of my house. Don't know how that $274 that I paid up front figures into the deal.

They sent two painters out (Ivan and another guy) and were absolutely amazing. They were extremely professional and took care in protecting my home. They laid down protection on any areas of the house they would be walking through asked the appropriate questions and got right to work. They did a fabulous job and were very efficient and respectful- I would hire them again in a heartbeat. The rooms looked amazing, they went above and beyond and cleaned up perfectly afterwards. Definitely recommend Reach Higher Painting and will use them again in the future.

Two painters worked all day. Carefully papered and taped all windows, doors and hardware. No overspray whatsoever. Real pros!

For the most part, the painting went well. The painters were nice, but there was definitely a lack of attention to details. Thus, there are areas of opportunity for improvement. 1. Obvious nails in the wall were not removed and caulked unless they were explicitly asked to do so. 2. Items were not properly covered; paint got on a pair of jeans which I had to throw out. Paint also got on my bedspread in the master bedroom as well as on my dryer in the laundry room. 3. The baseboard was not painted properly. The existing paint was just touched up in small areas. 4. On the last day which was a Friday, they seemed to be in a rush to finish and leave. As a result, they did not clean up properly after finishing. The only exceptions were re-hanging the curtains and moving back the large furniture such as the wall unit and sofa. 5. Also, some walls needed a second coat of paint and areas around the bathroom mirrors were missed. They had to come back the following Saturday to finish the job.

Reach Higher Painting met and exceeded all of my expectations. I had recently purchased a 30 year old house that needed a major face lift and I was looking to hire a company that would help me to give my house some TLC while sticking to a reasonable budget. Reach Higher Painting was recommended to me on a Tuesday and Daniel (the owner) was at my door the same evening. He took his time to walk around the house with me and listen to all of my design ideas. He agreed to do take on the project and I was confident that he would handle it the right way. He provided me a quote and we agreed on a very reasonable price to complete the work. He advised that he could have a team out the next day and it would take about 5 days to complete the work. His team was extremely capable, courteous, and friendly. They exceeded my expectations and completed the whole job in 3 days time. I love my house now and could not be more pleased with the entire experience with Reach Higher Painting!

It was good. They were really good. I was happy with their work. They came. They did a really good job. I would use them again if I could get the same deal. Just thorough, nice work. The quality stood out. You put paint on the wall, either it comes out nice or it doesn't. It came out nice.
