Ready2Move Moving & Storage is family owned & operated and has been providing quality service for SWFL over 20 years. We offer special rates for senior citizens and veterans. Ready2Move also has a special for smaller sized relocation. Free in-home estimates are available Monday- Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, Saturday at Relocation consultant discretion. Scheduled moves are 24/6 we are closed on Sunday for a day of rest. Additional phone number - (941) 637-6683. Please note that hours of operation are for office staff only.

Derek and team were wonderful to work with throughout the process. The guys that moved my house meticulously wrapped every piece of furniture and were wonderful to work with. Highly recommend this company and the price paid was exactly what was quoted.

I would never recommend anyone ever go near this business. Damage and missing items some of which can not be replaced or cost of repair would be prohibitive because they were family heirlooms and hand crocheted gift from a friend. Antique glassware smashed. Outdoor fountain smashed in many pieces. This was a gift from a dear friend. Not repairable. In the 3 months since they delivered our household furniture and other household and personal items we have found many many many kitchen and personal items missing as well as clothing and shoes just gone. I was contacted by Sherri today offering to give me a check for $100 if I would remove all negative reviews from the internet otherwise the deal was off. That is blackmail and coercion. Well the deal is off. I am 75 yrs old and refuse to be bullied by the likes of this unprofessional and just plain horrible bunch of crooks. The men who came to pick up our property were great and very professional as were the guys who delivered. Obviously the problem is in the handling by warehouse people who unload into storage and load the trucks for delivery. When they guys opened the truck the cherub fountain fell out of the truck and smashed on the ground. It had been thrown up on top of the load on the back of the truck. I have been devastated by this move and the treatment on the part of Sherri. There is at least $600 damage but I offered to just get my money back I had paid them. Sherri refused.

Everything was perfect. Movers were able to show up for a "last minute" move. They were not only on time, but early. Got the job done quickly. Wrapped everything for the move. I was going to do the move myself, however, after this experience, I was so pleased, why put myself through all that work. And the cost was far below what other movers wanted. Cut rate price for top rated movers!!!

The salesperson we interviewed was very professional. Our contact was good. After interviewing 4 companies we went with them. Worse decision. Both individuals we had been in contact with were no longer with the company, and the contract we agreed to was not honored by the owner. It became a continuous dispute throughout the move. During the packing and loading of the truck to storage we had to deal with a very rude worker. They were unable to load everything into the two trucks. The worker was very rude and upset as the move took all day finishing at 8 p.m. and two trucks. Not enough helpers. He would not give us the inventory sheets. Three months later we schedule delivery a month prior to our delivery date. On date of delivery they did not show up until after 6 p.m. and were not allowed into our gated community!! We had been in contact with the company all day and they said storage items are the last delivery of the day. Unacceptable! Delivery was rescheduled for New Year's Day for the morning. When they were a no show we again contacted the company. We were told they were taking another job first as they tried to reach us without a response. It turns out they were calling our old home phone which had been disconnected. We had been giving them our cells but dispatch did not pass to the driver. Furniture arrived at 4:30 p.m. and took until 10:00 p.m. to complete unloading. These movers had been working since 6 a.m. and were exhausted. They returned two days later with items that were left behind as trucks were full. At this point in the moving process we learned that they are totally dependent upon the workers that show up, and they have no idea who they will be working with each day. There was definitely damage: Cedar chest bottom broken totally off, top of entertainment center cracked, broken pictures they wrapped, fine scratches on buffet and dining table probably from dirty wraps, and dings on desk and cabinet. There were footprints on our cushions from our Lanai furniture and we ended up missing a lawn leaf blower. We have moved 20 times and this is by far the worst!! To top off this experience, when the actual inventory was given to us upon delivery, my signature was forged and name was misspelled. There was no follow-up after the move to solicit feedback. DO NOT HIRE.

First part went well crew came to pick up furniture and wrapped all and took out of home very pleasant hard working group. The communication on our delivery was terrible I had to chase down to get a ship date and then that gave me a range and was told I would get updated 24-48 hours prior to delivery. The driver called me and said he would be there in two hours! That was my notice, I told him I would meet him at our daughter's house an d had my son in law meet me at their house. The driver came alone and it was a two man job that if we wanted the furniture we had to help. He had me sign all paperwork prior to offloading the truck and two pcs of furniture were damaged in transit. I wrote to my sales rep and never received a response!

We had a five bedroom home and four packers were promised; one experienced and one newbie showed up on packing day. They promised more would arrive but didn’t show up til after 5pm. Took over 10 hours. Boxes were not labeled or labeled wrong. Drawers were thrown into boxes that were much too big and items left to ramble around with no protection. It was a horrid experience

Absolutely the worse move ever and I have moved 12 times. I had booked almost two months before and confirmed a couple of weeks before with James. The day before the unloading I confirmed again only to be told they don't have me scheduled. After hours of panic they called and said they found my profile but they had a computer glitch that dropped 25 people from their schedule that included me. James had promised that my unloading would start at 8am as I have had prior negative experience with later afternoon moves with tired personnel. In this case the Company said they would "fit me in" which I found out later meant starting after all the other work was done. They showed around 3:45 pm already tired/cranky and wanting to just go home. In addition starting so late rather than the agreed 8am meant I had to pay an extra day truck rental fee. I had asked the movers point blank if they were able/wanted to do the job before they started as they made it obvious they did not want to be there. James had agreed they would move a couple of pieces of furniture inside the house to other rooms. The movers argued that it was not in their orders and we went round and around getting heated with that issue, finally doing it mostly ourselves. Towards the end the movers were making comments about having to knock off at a certain hour and leaving the heaviest items in the truck. The Company manager called me and advised that he was leaving for the day and demanded I pay him via credit card before the work was done or he was calling his crew off leaving the truck still full. I did not want to do that as the movers had already displayed the desire to leave me stuck with the job not completed, but I had no choice and paid. Sure enough as soon as I payed, the movers said they were off the clock at a certain time and would not have the job done. Myself and two woman had been helping all along but we worked like movers to get the items from the truck unloaded. The movers were tired, slow and unmotivated from the start and the client was doing just as much work to get the job done. As an indication, the crew with another Company loaded the truck, including disassembling, wrapping and packing all the large items, in three hours. These guys (with same number or personnel) did not unwrap or assemble anything took over 4 hours. Note that this was with the client helping and note that all the heavy furniture had to be moved into the garage rather the rooms due to the threat to leave us high and dry. The client had to hump the heavy furniture from the garage the next day. The movers were arguing amongst themselves with little cooperation with likely stemmed from being worked so late due to messing up the scheduling in the first place. It cost me an extra days rental truck cost and at 65 years old, way to much physical labor that I had paid this Company to do for me. I would never recommend using these people under any circumstances and note I could go on in detail to give a better flavor of how stressful they made this simple unloading.

Packing and moving out of all my household items went very well. Don & Jeremy packed my household where very professional and efficient . I call after they where finished and requested to have them delivered my household the next day. I did not get them. Joe & Biz delivered and said they had to make two trips because they could not get everything on the truck because 1/2 the truck was unloaded into a storage unit and had to be reloaded. NO reason given. So some of the items that were moved 4 times were damaged. China cabinet, armoire, dinning room table, antique chest that was 100 years old, plus several more smaller pieces of furniture. My husband and I helped unload because Joe was so slow and complained the whole time he was tired. Biz was his first day on the job and was very good and had a professional manner. Spoke with a manager that knew nothing about my household being unloaded in a storage unit but she does have some of my items in her office that I still have not received. Settled for some money for some of the damage done but I am still without a leg to my antique chest which I can not find. Maybe it is in the managers office. Needless to say the unloading was a nightmare. By reading the reviews thought I had picked a good company. Caution with this company.

Brian and San arrived on time, were very professional, friendly and took their job seriously. They worked dilengtly wrapping the furniture and then moving the items down the stairs and into the truck. Delivery of everything will be tomorrow in Orlando and hopefully that will go as well.
