It was the worst experience of my life! The cost wasn't the issue. It was dependability and completion issues. Since they refused to correct, I gave them an F for responsiveness. The only thing I remember about their punctuality is that when they were trying to make the sale, they were right on time.

Essentially, He tore our place up. We had a Fall and Spring season with heavy rain. Now we are noticing that our internal doors will not shut properly. We've had all of the internal cracks repaired, but there is a problem outside. We have a brick wall that is about 5 ft tall and it is crumbling. The bricks on the top are out of place and that is not an area of our home that ever had any problems before, so whatever they did clearly caused it. We are trying to sell our home and he was aware of that beforehand. That was why we made the decision to have this large project done. Now, the home is in worse shape than it even was before. <br /> <br /> When they installed the piers on the end of our home, they totally ruined all of our landscaping. They yanked out what was there and did not put it back so our landscaping was left in disarray afterwards. We also have a back porch that is cement and is a part of the foundation. They did not investigate that and just assumed it was separate from the foundation. They drilled piers down through our porch which wasn't necessary. It also destroyed our carpeting. <br /> <br /> We have attempted to contact them several times. We have left messages and emails and have had no response. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />

They raised the house too much which created cracks in my walls. They did a very poor job. I tried to reach out to them about the cracks they created and they did a terrible job trying to repair. They were very unprofessional and the whole job was a nightmare.

The owner came out with a slick device to check relative elevations throughout the house. In the 65 years since the house was built it was apparent leveling had never been done before. Unfortunately, whatever work had been done in the past on walls and windows was done with the existing location of the foundation. Nothing bad, but not perfectly level. The leveling done by Real Deal made doors stick, windows not close, lots of cracking and didn't show any signs of improvement in the feel of the house. If anything was out of level before something else replaced it. <br /> The man doing the job management wasn't the company owner, but his brother. He wanted payment made to him...said there were problems cashing checks. The workers were attentive to the job, but the people not doing the actual work were suspicious. The paperwork wasn't quite right either. <br /> The workers did the job and left the site in satisfactory condition. <br /> Please note: Its been 18 months or more since the work was done. I regret having done the work only because the house seemed to suffer from the work...but not because it was done incorrectly. They seemed to do what they said they would. If I had truly serious foundation problems I might give them a call on another project. Then again, I might take my chances on a company that seemed more professional. <br />

They used a tool to measure the level of the house. They did a fine job with the services, but no additional services were really needed.

I contacted the company and they were to call me back to schedule an appointment but I did not hear from them until they showed up at my door unannounced <strong>. </strong>Both men were in street clothes with nothing to identify them as part of that company. The owner wanted to sit at the kitchen table and talk to me about the company while the son was going through my house taking measurements. I was very uncomfortable with this, especially since the son looked like a gang member, even having 3 tear drop tattoos beside his eye. The owner gave me an estimate written on plain paper with hand drawings (not to scale) and said that I needed 23 piers installed to level my foundation. I told him that I needed to consult with my husband before I made a decision, and he then began to pressure me into making a decision right then, even lowering the price 3 times to try and make me sign a contract. I did not sign and he called me twice that evening asking me to make a decision! No copy of the estimate was left with me. <br /> I had another company come out and inspect my foundation and was told that there was nothing wrong with it. I received an estimate on graph paper, measurements were to scale, and a copy was left with me. <br />

The work was contracted by me for the home of my 82 year old mother. The foundation repair was the original work contracted, and as far as we know, the work was performed properly. While performing the work, Wayne Fortenot offered to also replace the patio roof and install a stone floor was hired to do so. He contracted the work to someone else and, from that point on was incredibly unprofessional. He demanded payment in full 4 days before he would complete the work and then didn't pay his contractor in a timely way. He complained that we had chosen the wrong stone and our error cost him extra but he didn't object to the stone when he delivered it. Now the patio roof is leaking and the paint is bleeding through. Mr. Fortenot has made several appointments to fix things but never shows and is refusing to return our calls. <br />

Originally he came in and was helpful. We came to an agreement, but he did hound us for month early into the job and complained about that. They were on time and worked hard when they did the work, but he then failed to complete the project and it took me awhile to get a hold of him. Also, we had an engineer support that he argued with and no the engineer refuses to accept the work that was done by Real Deal Enterprises.

The owner, Wayne, and his son came to our house for an initial inspection of my home's foundation.They found one side of house had sunk by inches, which was not surprising given the heavy fireplace and chimney I have on that side. During the consultation, Wayne explained to my wife and I the methods they use to lift the house back to a level state and even showed specific cracks and shifts both inside and out that were caused by my foundation problems. We decided to pursue Real Deal's services because we felt comfortable with Wayne's knowledge and experience plus his quote was extremely competitive. <br /> To my surprise Wayne was able to schedule the job for the following day. Wayne and his team showed up at my house close to on time and finished the job on the same day. While the work was being performed, they made sure to call me outside frequently to explain each step of process and show me the exact work that was being performed. They did a nice job of cleaning up after they completed the work and Wayne even took a few extras steps to seal up some of the outside cracks. <br /> Overall were happy with the work that was done and are pleased to hold a lifetime warranty on the work that was performed.

During the inspection, Real Deal Enterprises explained the potential issue I had with the SW corner of my foundation. I anticipated that some work had to be done due to some issues I had with my windows. Wayne explained, in detail, the entire process construction process and the Lifetime Warranty that he his company provides. I was happily surprised when he presented me with the quote for the foundation work that he recommended. The crew arrived on time, as scheduled. They explained exactly what they were going to do and how long it would take. After they cleared out the area where the first pier was going to go, they showed me exactly how the process worked and what was involved. The crew did a great job installing all the piers. They replaced the wood fence that had to be removed and they cleaned up the area to its original condition. I was extremely satisfied with their work effort and would highly recommend them.
