"It is unfortunate that we did not see this sooner. As you can tell, we do not check Angie's List as often as we should. What is interesting is that I have no record for the address of [Member Information Removed] West [Member Information Removed]. However, if it is true that my Technicians refused to complete service at this address, RPM stands behind them completely. We work in very unsanitary conditions often, and to be denied service, your environment must have been unbearable. In the 30 years we have been in business, refusing to enter a customer's home, has only happened a handful of times. We have given our Technicians the right to refuse any business that might compromise their health, well-being, or morals. If in fact you were a customer of ours, and they felt unsafe in your environment, they have our permission to walk away."
"Thank you [Member Name Removed] for taking the time to rate us on Angie's List. It is unfortunate that you gave us a C rating for your service. I do not check Angie's List often, and even though it has been years, I still felt like the appropriate thing to do was respond on our behalf. Even though you left no explanation in your rating, I did go back in our records to find the following: Install Owner's Swamp Cooler. 10/30: Took off tarp on Swamp Cooler and found plenum full of trash. Vacuumed out, and duct sealed inside of plenum. Installed cooler and while hooking up cooler, technician found that the proper parts were missing for the pump and motor. Required to pick up needed parts and return to complete job. 10/31: Installed all parts and hooked up water. Set belts, and tension. Unit working properly. You can see the service was provided over a 2 day time period, and even though we do not typically install "Owner's HVAC Equipment", we did so because you were such good customer of ours. As you will see in the notes, you also didn't provide the proper parts for installation, which required my Technicians to leave the job site and round up what they needed. As $900.00 might seem high, considering the circumstances, this price was more than fair. I am a little confused however, that even after posting this review, you continued to use our service through the next year, but never mentioned your concerns. If you consider using RPM in the future, we'd like to offer you a 15% discount on your next bill. Thanks, Hannah McPherson, RPM Business Manager"
