I live in a house that serviced by Redden Plumbing and Mechanical at the request of my landlord. <br /> 1. The first visit consisted of drain pipe clog clearing and pipe maintenance under the kitchen sink that left the sink pipes damaged and leaking everywhere. Leaving water damage in the house and floor . <br /> 2. The second visit was to unclog a drain pipe again and get an estimate on how much it would cost to repair the damaged kitchen sink pipes. The line was unclogged on the outside of the house but the estimate was not performed inside. Rude remarks were made about the sanitary conditions of my house. And when we inquired what they were talking about specifically, they refused to explain. The house I live in is old and in disrepair, partly due to the sloppy work of of one of Redden Plumbing and Mechanical's plumbers. But it is not unsanitary. <br /> I will not be using Redden Plumbing and Mechanical again. <br /> <br />

"It is unfortunate that we did not see this sooner. As you can tell, we do not check Angie's List as often as we should. What is interesting is that I have no record for the address of [Member Information Removed] West [Member Information Removed]. However, if it is true that my Technicians refused to complete service at this address, RPM stands behind them completely. We work in very unsanitary conditions often, and to be denied service, your environment must have been unbearable. In the 30 years we have been in business, refusing to enter a customer's home, has only happened a handful of times. We have given our Technicians the right to refuse any business that might compromise their health, well-being, or morals. If in fact you were a customer of ours, and they felt unsafe in your environment, they have our permission to walk away."

"Thank you [Member Name Removed] for taking the time to rate us on Angie's List. It is unfortunate that you gave us a C rating for your service. I do not check Angie's List often, and even though it has been years, I still felt like the appropriate thing to do was respond on our behalf. Even though you left no explanation in your rating, I did go back in our records to find the following: Install Owner's Swamp Cooler. 10/30: Took off tarp on Swamp Cooler and found plenum full of trash. Vacuumed out, and duct sealed inside of plenum. Installed cooler and while hooking up cooler, technician found that the proper parts were missing for the pump and motor. Required to pick up needed parts and return to complete job. 10/31: Installed all parts and hooked up water. Set belts, and tension. Unit working properly. You can see the service was provided over a 2 day time period, and even though we do not typically install "Owner's HVAC Equipment", we did so because you were such good customer of ours. As you will see in the notes, you also didn't provide the proper parts for installation, which required my Technicians to leave the job site and round up what they needed. As $900.00 might seem high, considering the circumstances, this price was more than fair. I am a little confused however, that even after posting this review, you continued to use our service through the next year, but never mentioned your concerns. If you consider using RPM in the future, we'd like to offer you a 15% discount on your next bill. Thanks, Hannah McPherson, RPM Business Manager"

<hr /> RPM has done all plumbing and HVAC work for us since we built our house in 1999. Excellent service. Always professional and great to do business with. They may not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. <br /> <br />

It went great! The Tech was very nice and courteous. He knew what he was doing. He said for an old heat pump, it was running very well! I was very impressed with the way he handled the situation and the amount of time he took. <br />

My kitchen drain runs under the cement slab. The drain had collapsed. I needed to get it replaced. Another provider had given me an estimate which included removing kitchen tiles, and tearing up the concrete to get to a place to lay the pipe. Sandy Redden came out and gave me two estimates, Both his estimates were less than the other provider. I did have to wait, but I had been told that from the beginning. This is one job that was worth the wait. Workers came when they were supposed to, were polite and efficient, and I now have a new drain running under the slab. I saved a tremendous amount of money and I am delighted with the work. I think the best thing was that Sandy used his brain to come up with a better solution to my problem.

My plumbing is getting old. I had several pinhole leaks that were repaired in two different calls. Two men were sent on the first call. One fixed the leak and the other replaced an outside faucet that I remembered needed replacing. On the second visit, two men were again sent to repair the leak. It was quickly fixed. When I received the bill, I questioned the need to send two men for this job. Upon review, the bill was adjusted to reflect labor for only one man. I am very happy with the service and professionalism of this company and recommend their service.
