Adam was very personable and responsive drew up an estimate and contract all on iPad. First clue that there might be trouble-needed payment up front..he was a VET and seemed honest. His website is engaging and his personal story of integrity is touching--however my experience has been different. <br /> Through all kinds of excuses including relatives sick and dying to being shot in the leg, the job was never done and the money never returned. "This is an unfortunate complaint. As the owner of Red Rock Fence I make it my personal goal to treat everyone with upmost priority. This customer states that she has called and tried to contact us for over a year yet we have no record of those attempts being made. I was injured last year, May 15th 2014 by a gunshot wound during a training match. Durning that time our schedule was out of place for several weeks. I contacted everyone in our schedule and took care of their needs accordingly. Originally my business was with the complaintents husband. He offered to pay a down payment as to secure his schedule. There are many jobs where we do not require a deposit. If this member would like to contact us via Angieslist we will be more than happy to address their issue as customer service is of upmost importance to us!"

On Oct 15, 2014, I sent Mr. Hammons a text requesting cost of material receipts to-date. He texted back "I'm at $800 now..." <br /> On Oct 16, 2015, he and his 2-man crew worked 4 hr 15 min. Whereupon he gave me a material cost itemization showing his material expenditure costs were $1,609.62. (That is up double from the previous day.) When I questioned the cost of some of the materials, Mr. Hammons lied about where he bought them, he lied about the quality grade of the lumber and he lied about the actual cost of the materials. Mr. Hammons deceptively provided me with a material cost with double and triple material quantities and costs, as well as, materials that were not even used or delivered and passed it off to me as his actual costs and quantities used. Mr. Hammons said he would be back the next day, Friday Oct 17, 2014 to finish the job with some additional materials. However, instead, on Oct 17, 2014 we received a text message saying he was going to Grapevine to work on another job and would be at our place later that afternoon. We later got a text saying he was not coming and would come out on Monday instead. Mr. Hammons did not show up on Monday, and has since ignored text and voicemail communications. I have tried more than 20 times, by text, voicemail, email and certified letter, to contact Mr. Hammons about the breach of Construction Contract, which he ignores and refuses to accept calls. <br /> On Oct 20,2014, I went to both Home Depot and Master Halco and requested material quotes which substantiate the actual cost value of the materials which show Mr. Hammons was lying about the grade of the posts and costs. I also, have pictures that substantiate the actual materials used. <br /> Finally on Oct 23, 2014, I sent Mr. Hammons an email asking him to contact me about finishing the rest of the work to which he replied to the email stating: "To start, we have not taken any money besides for materials that were purchased." ( Mr. Hammons' made up material receipt showed a cost of $1,609.62 and the actual cost per the material quotes show the true costs and quantity amounts used is $556.69. Another lie.) Mr. Hammons also stated in his email: "... when you guys are jerks then I'm not going to prioritize you above the customers that treat us well. The barn is not going anywhere and I can reschedule you..... next week." We still have not heard from Mr. Hammons. <br /> Recorded in my Engineering Log Notebook are detailed records which show the days worked the arrival and departure hours worked, tasks completed; along with Mr. Hammons own hand written entry of labor and material estimates (he made on Oct.1,2014.) Additionally, the Construction Contract states: "RRFC will save receipts from Materials purchased and if materials cost more than $1900 customer will be notified and kept in communication the entire project." <br /> Other Adam Hammons, Red Rock Fence Co victims can be seen on Yelp.com. <br /> <br />

My experience with them went very well. They're very cooperative. He worked around my schedule. He came back several times to make sure something was okay. He cleaned up after himself very well. I was very happy with him. I was also happy with the price.

Adam and his crew demolished and replaced over 100 feet of fence on our property. They built a beautiful stained cedar horizontal fence with a large 8' gate. Initially, we were a little unsatisfied with the appearance of the gate, but Adam was easy to get in touch with and listened to my concerns. He assured me that customer service was the focus of his business and the next morning, Adam was out there himself fixing our gate. The final product was exactly want we wanted - and most importantly, my wife was happy! His crew was professional and friendly. They listened to us, explained the work, and spoke English. Price was equal or slightly less that 2 other bids we received for the same work. Overall, A+. We would use this company again. <br />

They were prompt in responding to my initial call, came out quickly to give me an estimate, gave me a very reasonable estimate, then they came out at a time that was good for me. I ordered a new spa/hot tub which was being delivered at the end of October. Unfortunately, the gate was too small for the spa to be fit through without tearing down the fence; however, I was wanting to replace the 11 year old white board fence anyways so I figured it would be a good time to replace it with a new cedar fence and gate. Adam came out and I explained the situation to him. He took the measurements and said what he could do was come out the day before the spa was delivered and tear down the section of fence and removed one of the steel posts(I was reusing my old posts since they were still in good condition. He would then come back the day after the spa was delivered and would build the new fence and gate. <br /> The day before the hot tub was delivered, Adam and his crew came out and tore down the old section of fence and dug up the post. He even made sure to leave a marker rod so that no one would accidently fall in post hole. <br /> Adam then gave me a call on the afternoon of the next day to ask if the spa had been delivered(which it had) and he made it out to my place in about hour and began to work building the new fence. This is also where I would like to mention that Adam is not just an foreman type who just directs his crew to begin working and goes off elsewhere. In this case, since his guys were still working another job, Adam showed up and started the work himself. An hour or two later two of his other guys arrived to help him with the job. They worked well as a team together and finished up after it had gotten dark. This included also cleaning up after themselves and taking my old fence with them to dispose of. <br /> Was very happy with the results(especially for the price) and will be calling them out soon to stain my new fence. Additionally, I will be saving up to have them replace the rest of my fence with a new cedar one. <br /> Finally, I wanted to mention that Adam and his crew are very friendly and when there was a problem where Adam couldn't make it out the first time we had setup an appointment, he was VERY apologetic. <br /> Will be calling them again! <br /> Thanks guys! <br />

VAndals had knocked my gate over. Called RedRock. Explained my problem. Owner went out to the house, looked at the gate. <br /> Called me and gave me a price for complete rebuild. Said even though it was his day off, he would go get the materials and have the job done by end of day. I gave him the ok and by end of day had a new gate. <br /> Excellent job!!!! <br /> Highly recommend this company and would use again in the future!!! <br />

It has been a pleasure working with Adam and his crew. The proposal process and communication was quick and easy and Adam was very quick to return calls and emails. The old fence came down and the new fence went up in a single day. The fence looks fantastic and I can't wait for them to do some additional projects in our back yard. <br />

The fence was very old and in bad shape. In addition, we had a lot of shrubs and overgrown yaupon hollys in the way. The crew had no problem cutting them down and trimming trees where necessary, as we requested. We appreciated their willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done. When we noticed the retaining wall looked like it could use a little extra support and mentioned it to Adam, he had already recognized the problem and taken steps to implement the improvements on his own. Adam and his crew arrived early every morning and worked hard all day every day until the job was finished. We experienced a rain delay one day, which resulted in their staying until after dark the next day to catch up--you just don't often see that kind of perseverance these days. Everyone on the crew was very professional, courteous, and proud of their work. Adam was in contact with us many times throughout the job to let us know the exact status of the project and what was going on at all times. We very much appreciated being kept in the loop as work progressed. The job was completed in a timely manner, and every detail was covered--down to the crew locating and replacing sprinkler heads inadvertently broken in the process. We are very pleased with the fence, it looks wonderful, and the crew cleaned up everything before they left. We would not hesitate to recommend Red Rock Fence Company. <br /> <br />

Adam removed the 4 feet by 28 feet decking between the pool and the fence. He then dug seven post holes along side our pool and set steel posts in concrete that he cross-braced to the fence to keep the fence from leaning further. He also devised a way to get the 14 foot high fence almost vertically level again before anchoring it to the steel posts. Finally, he rebuilt the deck substructure and replaced the decking with new planks. We think Adam's solution probably should give us many more years before needing to replace the fence and we are not concerned now that it might fall onto our neighbor''s property. He also ended up charging us about 10% less than his original estimate because he did not need all the materials he originally estimated.

Very prompt service, came out the next day and got to work due to having a bit of an emergency. Got all the work done very quickly and very well. Craftsmanship was great given the fact that we only were replacing posts and not the entire fence. They had to work around the older fence sections due to this and they did a great job. The guys they sent out were very professional and very courteous.

Red Rock immediately answered my request for a bid. Adam called and emailed with me often. He was very prompt about getting to my house and looking over the issues I was having with my fence, and he put together a very easy to understand bid and answered all my questions. He worked with me over the bid and I knew I wanted Red Rock to do the project. <br /> Adam said they would come the following Monday and it would take 2 days. He came and it was completed in 2 days. I've heard time and time again that contractors either dont show up or they do not finish when they say, but Red Rock/Adam did. I was very happy. <br /> The guys that came to work on my fence knew what to do. They did not seem to be 'day workers' just there doing what Red Rock contracted for but were really Red Rock employees. <br /> It was an awesome contractor experience. I've not had all that many good ones! I would totally use Red Rock again and I will recommend them.

We do our best to give a timely response and ensure a quality product for our customers. We strive for perfection and are not happy until you are 100 percent satisfied. We always like to address our reports if further attention is needed. Just to clarify on the negative, The patio furniture was not moved because the workers took breaks.The patio furniture is always moved when we stain to ensure it is not covered by any overspray. Most customers do this as a courtesy for us on stain day. We are mindful of returning things to original condition but the furniture consisted of 3 chairs and 1 coffee table. I inspected the job upon completion and I myself was the one to put the furniture back so I take responsibility for this one ;) I also see that we were given a C on the price. Let me explain.... In the beginning when I gave the quote we were $300 higher than the next bid. (customer) asked if we could match the price because she felt better about doing the project with us because of our positive Angieslist reviews but at the same time wanted a bargain. Without hesitation I dropped the price. There was also a billing dispute. When we first did the quote we charged for post replacement, bleach and stain. Upon speaking to the customer we decided, since the fence was old, we would do away with the bleach. At that time I explained if we do not not bleach or power wash, the fence will absorb more product. If we did away with the bleach it will cost a little bit more money for using more stain product. What we decided was this.....If we diidnt bleach before staining, the fence would take 5 more gallons. A 5 gallon bucket of stain costs $140 and the original charge of the bleach was $150. I said lets just let the transactions cancel out because it will be the same price and the customer agreed. I cant figure out why we were rated at a C but feel we did everything to ensure an A rating on this. Lets be honest. None of us really enjoy having to spend money on a fence. Im suprised everyone doesnt rate us as an F on price. If i were in the same shoes, Id rather be spending my money on something else too : ) This was an awesome experience for Red Rock. We look forward to more positive feedback like this from Angieslist in the near future."

it was fantastic. I called Adam on a Wednesday evening. He came out on Thursday to give estimate. Arrived at my house right at the time we agreed. Even called ahead of time to confirm he was on the way. We agreed on work and price and he was out on Friday and completed the work. Quality of work was great. They did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards as well. The price paid was actually higher than his bid---more than happy to pay extra for the great service. Experience couldn't have been better. Very customer service oriented. Very respectful and responsive. Already planning to use the company again for another job.

My neighbor was teaching his son how to drive when the son accidently hit the gas instead of the brake. He drove right through my chain link fence. I googled a repair service (I have no idea why I did not check Angies List first) I absolutely 'lucked out' with Red Rock Fence. I called Adam who came by in no time at all to give me an estimate for the insurance company. Adam is very professional. He answers his own calls and is very responsive. After just the first call he now answers with "Hi Bonnie". He called to say he was on his way and when he arrived he knocked on my door and stepped back, he was letting me know he was there and will be starting the repairs. I was very impressed with his being personable, professional, prompt and thorough. I will definitely refer him and use him again when the need arises.

A storm blew my 2 yr old builder fence down on friday the 4th at 10pm. I called Adam at that time. He was able to move his schedule around and get to me within 10 hours of the fence falling. He showed up 15 mins early and was extremely polite to my wife who greeted him. My fence post were completely snapped from winds. Adams team and him removed my entire north fence and replaced the wood post with metal poles and concrete. I have no doubt that this fence will now hold up to the strong north winds (I'm a corner house with a straight and clear view to the north). Seeing how well he constructed the fence I will have him do some patio work for me. My wife and I felt extremely comfortable around them.

Red Rock did an excellent job. It is hard to find a fencing company willing to do smaller fence repairs without trying to sell you on replacing an entire fence. Red Rock came out and gave me an estimate over the phone the same day that I called. They installed my new gate today and were here on time and were both professional and friendly. The new gate looks great and is a considerable improvement over what was there before. I would definitely contact them again for any future fencing issues that I have.

Adam was contacted on Thursday or Friday to provide an estimate for replacing the fence at our house. He came out, gave an estimated price and estimated work date. Time was critical for the project and we negotiated a faster time frame. Adam and his crew came out on Saturday of that same week, tore down the old fence, and installed the new fence in the same afternoon. Did a good job. We'd use him again.
