Remcon Cleaning and Restoration

We always count on Remcon to do our carpet cleaning. They are polite, proficient, and do a reliably excellent job every time!

They were very responsive, gave us a fair price and did a great job of drying out the basement floor, carpet and walls. We would definitely use them again if the need arises.

The bathroom looks good. The work was performed as outlined in the estimate and in a timely manner. The workers were responsive to questions and did a great job cleaning up.

The work went well; the crew kept the house area around the crawl space spotless.

Responsive, dried carpet and stretched it., dried downstairs drywall. Thought they would clean carpet, but must have misunderstood. This is my second review tor the same serviace.

Wonderful! The technicians were very knowledgeable and polite. They protected all of my furniture and corners and the carpet looked great!

Remcon came, assessed the situation, and gave us an estimate for clean up on the next working day. They put up a plastic curtain to isolate the mold spores so they wouldn't fly all over the house and cleaned out the area and left wall open so we can watch it to see if we have any more leaking.They did a great job and left the area very clean and dry. We are waiting to see if we can identify any further leaks. Once we are sure leak problem has been solved, we will contact Remcon to come and restore wall and suggest new flooring for area involved.

Remarkable response, especially on a weekend, beginning late Friday. By Saturday noon the worst of abatement was finished, including biohazard, and the 4 rooms were ready for health inspector, insurance adjuster, and asbestos abatement. All the guys were great and boss Larry Pearce even helped find repair companies; so far those have worked out very well. I am a grateful and loyal customer.

Larry has been an absolute joy to work with and even helped with some contracting questions and problems throughout the home selling process. They even went back in a month later when one inspector claimed to have found moisture and Remcon provided evidence to the contrary (re-metered the walls, took photos and wrote a letter confirming that everything was in fact bone dry and that NO moisture existed) and proved that the inspector was lying. All free of charge. They take great pride in their work and they take excellent care of their customers. In Larry's own words, he wants to do the job right and make sure his customers are 100% satisfied. Larry, Brad and Remcon are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and I cannot express how much they've done for myself and my family....we love them!!!

They were so easy to work with on this water mess. Professional, qucik to reply via text, e-mail and phone. Plus, they did an awesome job--our contractor was impressed with their work too. So, while you never want to deal with water damage (ugh)--if you do need someone I would recommend these guys. I would hire them again--but I hope I don't have any more water damage.

Larry and his team were amazing. After having numerous companies come out to provide us information and quotes, many of whom used scare tactics to try to get us to move quickly, Larry proved to be a calm wealth of information. He (correctly) estimated that our problem was small and saved us from having multiple walls of our house flood cut. We had his team come back out two more times when we found non-related issues and each time they were professional, thorough, clean, and kind. The second time they came, the amount of work needed was less than estimated, so we received a significant discount off of the estimate we had agreed to. Larry communicates reliably and kept us up to date on every project and when workers would be arriving. I'd hire this company again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone.

Excellent. Larry was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. His crew was very professional, tented the entire area and cleaned up after themselves. They gave me updates and ran to Home Depot for new floor material at no additional cost.

<p>  The guys removed pictures and décor off the walls.unplugged the tv in the upper corner.Moved my tredmill with the matt, my stationary bike,with pad and some chairs.They pulled the carpet back so it could dry.They moved  out the pad where the mold settled and took it with them to dispose of it. When they left ,they said we'll be back on Monday or Tuesday.I waited around Monday, nothing. On Tuesday I waited and cancelled an appt. in the morning to be there.I called around 11:00 am,I was told by the office staff she would have them call right away. Nothing. I called Wednesday morning, telling them I had an appt. when are you coming. They said we'll come just before you leave. It took them about 20 min. and they were gone. I called Mr. Pierce about what comes next if they're finished. Well we're done but I know a carpet guy that can replace your pad that was removed , restretch the carpet and replace the baseboard. $175.00 I said ok. The next day Mr. Pierce called and said the carpet guy said he had a problem with the baseboards. I checked downstairs and there was damage to the drywall. It looked like someone used an exacto knife and made a long incorrect cut up into the drywall. Mr. Pierce told me he would get someone to fix it but he would have to charge me just the cost. $225.00 , I said your people did the damage why are you charging me. The guy he got to fix the drywall cancelled on me 4 times. At this point I want nothing more to do with these people. I paid them to get them out of my house. You need to know that this service also puts nothing back like it was. I'm still waiting for my sons to come to town so they can put my tredmill ,bike and tv back so I can use them. I think not putting that in your contractor info. is just wrong.</p>

When a disaster strikes we often do not know what to do. I checked on Angie's List and found RemCon willing to come out to our house when hundreds of other homes were also being flooded by heavy rain. This small company can do a lot and are fair and willing to work with the client. <br />Even though they were very busy, they were polite and professional and wanted to offer as much advice as needed. I hope I never have to call them again, but I will if needed. <br /> <br /> <br />

We had yet another flood in our basement and Larry and his crew took care of all of it very professionally. There was a bit of miscommunication at one point because Larry's wife was ill, but they more than made up for it in the end. <br />

Larry came to our house to check out water damage in our basement (and possible mold... not good), which we thought was going to require a lot of work to repair and mitigate. He informed us that there was really no need for his services - we didn't have mold (thankfully!) and we could fix the problem with landscaping and larger downspouts. He came out twice, didn't charge us a nickel, and could have easily sold us services we didn't need. He's professional, honest, super-experienced, and just a really nice guy to work with. Highly recommended!

Wow! Great and timely service! I received a call from the technician, Brad, the same day I requested service on Angie's list. We discussed the problem and he was exceptionally informative as to what to expect price wise and work wise. He was at our house at my first requested day/time which was 2 days later. He arrived punctually and was very pleasant and professional. He was extremely helpful with mitigating the problem the right way while avoiding excessive cost. Not only was the price way more reasonable than I expected, he also provided useful tips to avoid future problems so we wouldn't be a repeat customer! Overall a great experience..says a lot being a not so pleasant circumstance! Thanks Brad!

The day I called Remcon I spoke to receptionist and she said she would get someone to call me ASAP. I received a call back in a reasonable time from Larry. He was very friendly and provided very helpful information on what needed to happen. He also apologized because he was not going to be able to come to my house that day, he was attending his father's funeral. He was giving me another company to use since he wasn't going to be able to come that day. Talk about WOW factor! First, He called me the day of his father's funeral when he absolutely didn't have too. Second, he was giving me very helpful information on the phone. Third, he was giving me a number to another company that he felt was good for immediate help. I was so impressed and just felt good when talking to him that I was able to wait for him to come the next day. I felt he was an honest guy.Larry did come to my house and met with my husband the next day, today actually. He checked everything and tested everything for moisture, and etc... Was very thorough. So, get this...he said that everything looked good and since we were able to clean up the water so quickly after it happened and started to dry everything that we didn't need a restoration company. He explained to my husband what we had to do with the carpet to dry it faster and that our baseboards under the hardwood floors looked good and drying up. Time will only tell with our oak hardwood floors which will need to be looked at by a professional hardwood flooring company after it is completely dry.We were so pleased, we wanted the honest truth...did we really need a restoration company to do all this work to dry everything , was there damage or was it not that bad to where we could dry it ourselves. Basically...what would he do if this happened to him? We felt that Larry did just that and didn't try to sell us anything that was not needed. Just to note...we had a different restoration company come for a quote before Larry that was given to us by our insurance company. They did come the day we called but the experience was totally different. Quoted us for all these services to dry the floors and basements and carpet and etc... quote was for $3600!!!! We definitely felt like this was very expensive and possibly being quoted for things that really didn't need to be done. Felt like their purpose was not to really see what needed to be done but how much they could charge to do unnecessary work. SO GLAD WE CALL Larry at Remcon.THANK YOU for your honesty.
