Rent Painters

I contacted Rent Painters to paint the interior and exterior of my townhouse. I set an appointment with Chris to look at the project. He arrived promptly and we walked through the house. A few days later he provided me an estimate for labor and material. The estimate was fair and I contracted the work. The crew came as agreed and they completed the work in just a few days. The quality of work was excellent. My house looks fully refreshed. I could not be happier with the end product. I will call them again for my next paint project and I highly recommend them!

The did a great job! Two painters arrived promptly at 8am and were done around 1:30pm. The painters were very professional and courteous. They laid down drop cloths between the bedroom and bathroom, covered the countertops and lamps and fixed the wall where I had some electrical work done. I had two different colors on the walls in my bedroom with the ceiling being a completely different color and rounded corners around the windows. I'm very pleased with the work overall, now I'd like to paint the rest of my house. I would definitely hire them again!

My original appointment was missed due to a lapse in communication on their part. Their team apologized for that and offered a discount if I rescheduled. During the rescheduled appointment, the painter showed up on time and ready to work. He finished on time and the work was excellent. I’ll be using Rent Painters in the future for any of my painting needs.

This is my 3rd or 4th time using them and they are always outstanding. Chris quoted me a price and when the guy came he said the walls needed repairing. They were willing to paint without the repair at the original price quoted, but we wanted it perfect. The room/walls look like a new room.

We've used Rent Painters twice to paint the hallways in our common area of our condo and was so happy with their results, value and responsiveness I hired them to pain our entire condo - 2 bedrooms, kitchen and hallways. They did the trim and took off the doors and sanded them. It's like having a brand new home - they did a flawless job! Even put a fresh coat on an accent wall and came back to do touch ups after we moved and made a few scuffs and scratches. They are very flexible with your schedule (worked weekends) and efficient (in and out in 2 days). Thier team was very communicative and shared updates throughout the process including needing an extra coat that wasn't budgeted for but gave me the option ahead of time. They can provide the paint or you can just let them know the color! I would hire Rent again and recommend them to anyone in DC who needs a quality job at a great price!

The guys were awesome! I got 5 quotes and this quote by far beat everyone out of the water. And they were not about nickel and dimming you. They knew that in order for everything to look nice and fresh-we had to do it all-walls, ceiling, trim, doors. I am so glad I did! The work was fantastic. My only “negative” thing I have to say is that I went w a recommended paint by Sherwin Williams (durable or something like that) and that paint is crap! It peels like nail polish. I know that is not renters problem-but I wish they would not have recommended it. I should have just gone w Olympic from Home Depot. Guys were punctual and did great. It did seem like they were speeding at the end to get it done in 5 days (but no real complaints). One more thing I would change. They sent out a leader in the beginning who was running the show and he didn’t return the last day-which I felt was disappointing. I like discussing things w one person the entire time and the last day I was having to ask questions and the guys didn’t know the answer to my questions. For the light switch covers and mirrors-they misplaced some of the screws but they replaced them once I told them they were missing. All of this to say-I 100% recommend this company!!! They finished a 1800 sq foot condo (w many high ceilings) in 5 days.

The work was done quickly and adequately. The price was very good - there was a lot of work to prepare the wall for painting. However, the attention to detail could have been better (e.g., color paint on white trim, old wallpaper glue not removed and painted over, used a roller to paint a door so the finish was not smooth).

Very responsive and a great price. Cristian was an excellent project manager. Some of the workers didn't get all the light switch covers back on quite right but Cristian was able to send someone to fix some of that and do a few touchups after movers scraped up our walls.

I was very impressed with everything about the job, and Christian and his team from the first meeting, to the quote (the most reasonable of the 3 quotes I received), to the 1 day job. I purchased the paint and received their pro discount. They were on-time, professional, meticulous, communicative, and they did a wonderful job. Totally delivered. No complaints at all. My newly painted rooms look fabulous and I have already been recommending them to friends and family.

I had two rooms in my apartment painted. Extra paint got on my window, windowsill, and inside a light fixture hanging from the ceiling. The amount of paint that I was told to buy for the job was too little - I had to purchase extra paint in the middle of the job so they could finish on time. Painters were friendly, on time, and professional.

My wife and I recently bought a house that needed a facelift. We asked for quotes from four different painting companies to paint the staircase (walls and banister), two bedrooms, all exterior trim and windows, and to touch up two rooms we painted (poorly). We couldn't have been happier with Rent. First, their quote was better than every other company, and almost half the price of one company. Throughout the entire process, they were extremely responsive and worked with us when we made minor adjustments here and there. Most impressive was all the wall repair and prep work they did prior to painting. We live in a very old house (with old, plaster walls), but after they got done, the walls look brand new! Even though the project took longer than they anticipated (due to them having to fix some shotty drywall repair done by a previous contractor) they charged us exactly what they said they would in the initial quote. Rent is an amazing company, and if you are looking for painters who are both affordable and do excellent work, look no further.

Randy was great. He fixed our damage ceiling caused by a leak from our bathroom. Our office looks great now. Thank you rent painters.

The guys did a phenomenal job. They showed up early, worked hard, got the room prepped and painted, and were out. Very nice guys would certainly hire again without a second thought.

We took advantage of the $250 deal to have our powder room painted with some small drywall repair as well. We also had the trim done which added $25 to the total price. The painter was very prompt, professional, neat and respectful of our home as he had to remove and replace some of the wall fixtures to do the job. We didn’t have the paint at the time of his arrival which actually worked out well since he gave us some great recommendations on the type to purchase. He got started right away and it only took about 3 or 4 hours to finish. Everything went very smoothly. We will definitely be having them back to do a few other rooms in the house.

Excellent. Quality work. Responsive to concerns. Did an outstanding job of protecting furniture, floors, and walls with drop clothes and plastic. Cleaned up. Completed in estimated time. Would use again and have already recommended to neighbors.

We contacted Rent Painters and I must say that we are extremely pleased. The customer service was truly outstanding. But that cannot even compare to the painter that was onsite. His attention to detail from prepping the site, to the actual paint execution, to the clean up of the site (daily), to the final delivery is something that most companies strive for, but rarely deliver. Before Chris Montoya could leave our home, we asked him to quote another job. We will continue to use Rent Painters for all our painting needs.

Best contractor experience of the summer, and we had many. They were on time, conscientious, pleasant, efficient, and did an excellent job. Entire house in two days, not a drop of paint on the hardwoods, and the best price in the area. We were quoted twice as much by two other places. I WILL be using them again. Highly recommend!!

Rent Painters were outstanding. Chris immediately responded to my request for a quote and once given the job a crew worked 3 days straight and did an outstanding job. There was one glitch and once it was brought to Chris' attention it was addressed immediately. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

Did a great job. Make sure that you list the surfaces you want painted very clearly--for example if you want the door and trim painted you have to list both. There was a misunderstanding along these lines but I am not sure this was their fault. Cost was reasonable.
