At the start of the triple-digit heat the inside portion of our a/c started making a weird screeching and then thumbing noise. So we shut it off, waited a while and turned back on the rumble was quieter but still there. So in comes the REO tech. He listened our story and dismissed it. Saying rumble was from the compressor outside, he went outside and examined it. He came back inside and said the pressures were not right so he would have to check with our home warranty company. We never heard from him again. Long story short he said the whole outside unit needed replacing. After we received the letter from warrantee company stating a very long list of what they would not cover incldng pad thermostat, expected costs out of pocket over $2000.00. We decided to get a second opinion. That company ( John Burger HVAC) tech came and pulled a battered laminated wiring diagram that was flopping around inside fan unit and replaced the capacitor on that unit and the knife switch on the outside unit and only chged us abt $140.00 And a/c is still working fine.

The guy from REO Mechanical was very nice and professional. He came to our home and repaired the AC quickly. We now have nice cool air flowing through the house! Its a life saver in these hot Sacramento summers! The office staff was AWESOME! I spoke with Jen and Ashley and they were both wonderful! It was like speaking with a friends after a like period of non communication. Both women were friendly and very helpful in meeting my needs. After my service was complete, I called the office again to speak with upper management so that I could let them know what a great experience I had working with them. When I called, I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, Maria. She is a great lady who runs an awesome business! I would recommend them to my friends and family!

As you would expect, the air conditioning compressor quit start when the temperature was in excess of 100 degrees during the afternoon. REO responded to my call for help the same day I contacted them. The technician was extremely professional and determined that i had a bad capacitor. As a result, my bill was only $241.75. Things could have been much worse. In additional to replacing the capacitor, the technician took the time to thoroughly clean the unit, particularly the condensor, so that the unit would run more efficiently. REO's service that day was terrific. I could not have been happier and would definitely use them again. REO receives my highest recommendation. <br />

They started out well. But last summer my AC broke and they seemed to have trouble fixing it. They put a replacement part and that part broke down right away and in the meantime I did not have the AC and I was a bit concerned about that. Their maintenance service was okay but when it came to fixing something there was a problem. Since then they have a new manager and he actually called me and was trying to get my business but by that time I was so frustrated, I had to sign somebody else up. I don't think I will be using them in the future.

I had no heat on a sat. night, service man was there when they said he would be, and found my system need freon, he also fixed a leak. Great Work!
