I thought they were professional and nice, but they tried to repair my same appliance three times and it still didn't work. They were telling me one thing, but were telling my home warranty company something different. When I requested all three of us get on the phone to clarify the misunderstanding, Repair Tech Plus declined. As a result, I have to schedule another company to come out and start all over again with the assessment. This should have already been closed out so I could order a new appliance.

I wish my first call had been to Eddie and Repair Tech Plus. He fixed my TV after another repair service told me the situation was hopeless if I didn't spend an unreasonable amount of money with them (after, of course, they'd missed their first appointment with me). The best part of dealing with Eddie instead was his professional and friendly approach; he was prompt, on-time, informative, and frank. He always returned phone calls as promised, showed up as agreed. As an authorized technician, he always called the TV company direct if there were any technical issues that needed dealing with. During the initial diagnostic visit, he very honestly talked to me about the cons of repair -- that depending on which component needed to be replaced, it may approach the cost of simply buying a new (albeit smaller) set. I decided to go ahead with the repair anyway, and Eddie did everything he could to make sure we got it repaired efficiently and in a timely manner. I really do wish I hadn't let another repair service waste a week and that I had simply found Repair Tech Plus first. Eddie and RepairTech Plus made what can potentially be a stressful situation comfortable.

Not only did Eddie obtain all the required accessories and brackets, he went out of his way to solve networking and access problems that were causing significant problems. He set up the TV in record time, cleanly and securely. The installation could not have gone better and the price he charged was very very fair.

Eddie was terrific! Very knowledgeable, pleasant, and conscientious, and he seems to have very high standards. He made two visits to our house (each about a 2-hour round trip drive), two days apart. He probably could have gotten by with the repairs he did on the first visit, but he thought that if he could obtain a few additional parts he could come back and give us an even better final product. The price was very good, too. It was as low or lower than any other service person we contacted. (Incidentally, the second visit added only $25 above Eddie's original estimate - probably barely enough to cover his gasoline costs!). Overall, an extremely positive experience and I happily recommend Eddie!

The part we needed was on longer available for our plasma TV Eddie got another part from Samsung to try to make it work, but no luck. A number of Samsung customers have had this problem. I discovered this looking at reviews online. Eddie advised us on our new purchase, and came back after the new TV was installed to hook up our Bose and Roku. He showed us how to used the menus to adjust the brightness and back lighting and to make other adjustments. He even took the old TV, and we are happy he can use the parts to save someone who may have a little more luck than we did. Very professional, very knowledgeable.

Eddie was great to work with (super friendly) and did a good job repairing our TV. He came over the very night we called him and diagnosed the problem quickly. When Eddie contacted his vendor to see if he could get a replacement part, he was told that there was a nationwide backorder and that we would not get the piece for 9-12 days. Fortunately, Eddie reached out to his other vendors in the morning and was able to get the piece the next day. He even came in on a Sunday to install it. His rate is very reasonable too, especially since he had to come out to our house twice and work over the weekend. Definitely recommend!

He was great! Told me exactly what he was going to do before he did it. Gave me an estimate before he did the work and got my approval. Fixed the problem and gave me an extended warranty for services to stand behind his work. He was prompt, polite, and professional. He also respected my no-shoe house request.

This whole thing actually started about 3 weeks or so ago when I started getting a double image on my TV. I searched the list and found Eddie Watkins. The great thing is that he doesn't live far from me. I called him up and he was completely honest about my options, stating that it wasn't about the money, he just wants his customers to be happy. His honesty was quite frankly refreshing. He gave me time to decide what I wanted to do and assured me he would assist me whatever my decision. I decided to purchase another TV. He worked with my schedule and came to my house to mount my new TV to the wall. He ran into trouble with the bracket and screw size. He quickly went out to his van and took his time to make sure he found the right screws and tools. He made it happen with my existing bracket, thereby saving me money. I appreciate that. :) He is a nice person with a great attitutude. You can't go wrong hiring him. His knowledge is extensive. Thanks Eddie! I'll definitely be recommending you to my friends. <br />

<p><br /></p> <p>Well, my husband and I go to bed quit early (seniors), and I think the service started around 9 pm. Once he got started and finished he did a great job!! He was on time 9 pm and did a thorough job but we was so sleepy we didn't test until the next day.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>We have young adult children, so we were very patient and was proud that young adults take their work so serious no matter what time it is, our children are his age.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>He was a young man, so I guess when we all are young we can stay up late.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Again, he was polite and knew exactly what the problem was. <p>On Friday, April 25, 2014, I went on Angie's List and found the nearest TV Repairman, Eddie Watkins. I called Mr. Watkins and explained that my television was clicking and would sometimes take up to an hour for the picture to click on. Mr. Watkins asked that I send him the Model and the Serial number of the television set, which I did. He said that he had a job in Pennsylvania on Saturday, but if he returned at a reasonable hour that he would call. On Saturday, he called from the Baltimore Washington Parkway to see if I was available. I said "yes" "yes", I needed my television fixed....an hour later he took the TV apart fixed the motherboard and was out the door. <br /> Mr. Watkins was professional, very knowledgeable and I highly recommend his services. </p> <p> </p> <br />
