Rescue Roofing Construction

Here is my experience with this contractor: 1. They advertise on 870AM that they will cover the permit costs, and give 10% off labor and materials. My invoice did not reflect the 10% discount. When I asked the foreman about it, he said it was already included in the price. I do not think that is legal in CA. The discount should be listed on the invoice. 2. I was given an approximate start date of 2/15/25 and an approximate completion date of 3/15/25. It was completed on 3/29/25. 3. My job included replacing the roof, the fascia boards, and installing gutters on three structures. The fascia boards on one structure was not installed properly and it took several days for the installer to come back and fix it properly. 4. After the foreman gave me the written estimate at my home, I never saw him again. I had to be the de facto foreman on my own project and had to deal with a work crew that did not speak English. The foreman never came back to inspect the finished job.

We got suckered into this company. They are overpriced for "mickey mouse" work. We agreed on 3 projects it would be done in 6-8 days... it was over a MONTH and they would never come and fix our gate properly. To this date our gate still doesn't lock properly (cause of Mickey Mouse work). They left their trash here and it took months for them to patch up part of the house that is exposed. They made us give them the last check prior, if not they weren't going to finish the work... in good faith and a post-dated check, they cashed it anyway (prior to dated check). We are FURIOUS about this botched job. Our garage keeps getting flooded from the rain, something that this company guaranteed wouldn't happen... hence the remodel. Thousands of dollars lost on property damage. We have been reaching out and they still don't respond. If they do, it's with attitude. NEVER AGAIN! DON'T hire them! The company is not being responsive nor helpful! I am reporting them to the BBB.
