I found Restoration 1 via Angi's (Angi's List) online. I contacted them via the app and they messaged me back the same day. My house is situated over my garage but the garage isn't very well insulated - it's just cinderblocks so a humid garage can cause mold. I had black colored mold above the door that leads from the garage to my house. Having a kid with asthma, I didn't want it to get into the house or be growing in the walls. Jeff set an appointment to come out and assess the situation a couple of days later. He was on time and polite. He tested the area for moisture to make sure it wasn't leaking from above or under the wall. Then he explained what he could do to fix it, the solution they use, and the process. He quoted me at $300. (I was relieved at that cost - I had expected $500 or more.) He said he was able to get it today today - I happily agreed! He suited up and sprayed down the mold. He even sprayed down a few other areas in the garage, just in case, and because they looked suspect. A few minutes later, he was done! I wish I had taken before and after pictures because the area looks great now! No more black mold! He cautioned that it could come back, just because of it being in the garage, how humid it is outside, etc. But we'll wait and see! I'm happy with the service I received and Jeff's customer service and knowledge. Thank you! Will call again, if needed!

Jeff and his team came out right away and handled the problem promptly and efficiently. They were thorough and communicated throughout the whole process.

While we didn’t have the pleasure of having Reatoration 1 perform work for us, Jeff and Rose did come out to our home right away to take a look at our flood damage! Everyone else was at least two days out before they could even think about coming out. They brought some extra muscle with them just in case they needed help clearing the room and yanking carpet that same day. We didn’t need it at the time, but it was pretty awesome that they were right there, so fast, and so ready to jump right in! It turned out that the damage wasn’t quite as extensive as we thought and were able to do the hard work ourselves. But Jeff was great at non-pushy, thoughtful reminders to check in on us and get an update on our progress! I really felt very well taken care of even though they didn’t perform any actual work for us - just the initial assessments! In the future, if anything similar happens to us (and it will!) Restoration 1 is the first number I will dial! Thank you Jeff and Rose!!!

Restoration 1 contacted me the day I put my information on Angi. Scheduled an appointment to come out and look at the mold a couple of days later. Jeff came out, on time. Friendly, explained everything. Offered to take care of the mold today. It was a straight forward job so I said yes. He sprayed everything down and was done in a few minutes. Happy with the job, speed, and price. Thank you!
