He diagnosed the problem through a process of elimination, proving that all that was needed was a new corded charging connector.

I replaced a GFCI outlet in the kitchen but didn’t work. I sent out three requests for help and got immediate response from Retter Electric (Marty). He explained what was wrong and showed me how to do it correctly, so that I can do it by myself next time. Very helpful and pleasant experience.

He came in and handled business, he was awesome. I will be using him again.

Excellent, Marty did a stellar job, even the city inspector was impressed. He will be doing ALL MY ELECTRICAL WORK in the future.

Marty was on time and installed fans in projected time frame. He is very knowledgeable and was able to install both fans without having to do any patchwork to the ceiling. He left work areas very clean.

Well, I don't write many reviews but Marty needs to be recognized for his outstanding service he provided me. First of all, he showed up on time and even before I hired him, he had already given me some possible solutions to my electrical problems. He fixed the regular outlet that the previous contractor had tried to resolve and replaced all of my worn out GFI outlets. Not only that, he made sure that all of the outlets were functional before leaving and even explained to me how my GFI circuits were run in case I had to reset any of them. Professional help is hard to find but I'm glad he was the one who saved the day. I would highly recommend this company, Retter Electric, to anyone who wants the job done correctly the first time. By the way, I also enjoyed listening to his stories because they made sense. Finally, thanks again Marty for your professionalism and excellent service. Your business card is now in my safe keeping and I will not hesitate to contact you again in case I ever need your assistance in the future.

Marty performed the duties of a project manager in addition to doing the electrical work. The cost was affordable and the service was excellent. It was not an easy task. When our trailer gets cool in the hot summer temps, we thank Marty.

Great! Should have replaced antiquated wall switch years ago. Now I actually get 3 fan speeds. Before only one speed sometimes worked.

Marty has a very busy schedule, so he helped me over the phone and when I couldn't figure out the solution he came the very next day by 10 AM. Marty figured out where the problem was (in the attic) within a few minutes. I have the ability and tools to diagnose the volts at the switch and at the fan/light, but the problem was not at either, leaving me to think maybe a rodent chewed up the Romex wire in the attic. I was wrong. Marty found an unneeded light controller that was installed years ago by the previous owner in the attic. The device had failed and was causing a poor connection. He fixed it within 10 more minutes and charged me a very fair price, especially considering he had to drive an hour each way. I saved his number and will use him again. More than satisfied.

I very much appreciated Marty’s prompt response and ability to get it all done in acouple of hours. This is an old house and the job required a particular skill set. He met and exceeded all expectations. Rather than merely checking the circuit breaker, he also inspected for possible water damage, corrosion or structural problems where wiring could become unsafe. I feel very comfortable with his expertise and recommendations for future use.

Marty contacted me on 2/19/ 2020 re the installation of my cook top. I explained that I wanted the cook top installed ASAP since my old one was not functional He agreed to install it that day at the time convenient for me and made the 40 minute drive from Woodland to Fairfield to do the work. . He was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job installing the unit. He even installed the 3/4 inch wire required for the unit. after the install, He took the extra time to show my wife and I how to operate this high tech unit. WE highly recommend him!
