Well, until they left. Randy was to return to 1) replace a cast iron shower pan that cracked during installation 3) fix the buckled vinyl flooring his crew put in one bathroom and the pantry and 3) mount a chimney cap. Never did. But the worst is that Randy took a 200 year old slab of old-growth pine (approximately 30" wide by 42" long by 2.5" thick) salvaged from my great-great-grandparents' home and promise me a coffee table. TWO YEARS LATER I CAN'T EVEN GET THE SLAB BACK.

A couple of things about roofing in NC. We get flash flooding a lot! Before a roof is laid down drip edge should be placed around the entire house, some contractors do not do this, and you should not hire them because this will cause you problems. Your roof eaves, low pitched/grade areas and gutter edges should be wrapped in snow and ice guard, not roofing felt (in fact there are far better products than felt you should insist your roofer uses). Your chimney flashing should be replaced and sealed well. In the five years since install, as a result of these things not being done, my roof has leaked twice, and the fascia board and osb are starting to rot away. I will acknowledge two of these items were fixed after the fact however I would be reticent to recommend R Harward for roofing replacement. Randy and his crew did an excellent job! They were friendly, courteous and very professional. They worked around the rain when they could to get the job completed as soon as possible. They did a great job keeping the site picked up at the end of each day before leaving and then did a thorough cleanup of the site at the end. This is the 2nd job they have done for me and I have been very pleased both times. I would highly recommend RHC for small and large projects.

I had a woodwork man look at the project and he recommended to have a new window replaced. Randy replaced the rotten wood on the deck  and the window sill. Glad I used Harward Construction  otherwise I would of had to buy new window.  He not only did a great job but also  did it in a timely manner. <br /> I have used this company for the past 5 years and have always been very pleased with their work ethic and performance. <br />

They were on time and called before arriving. Throughout the job they were careful to keep the kitchen clean and put up plastic to contain the dust from cutting the counter top and replacement drywall. Randy and Steve were both very courteous and happy to answer my questions as well as let me know what was going on during the process. The installation was just about two hours, like Randy said it would be and I am very pleased with the results. They also took away the old unit. I plan on calling in Randy Harward to do more work around my home and at my other properties. <br />

It went fine, except I was not pleased with one of the light fixtures, which I took down. Otherwise they were very friendly and did a good job. The only reason I would not use this provider is that I would prefer to have a handyman I could use repeatedly and these people came from too far away from my home. <br /> <br /> <br />

he Provider rescheduled the day before they were to be here the first time. When they arrived I was told of addition restrictions to the deal that was not mentioned on Angie's List site. Not very happy with the quality of the materials used. <br />

I just had some basic honey-do things that I couldn't do. There were 2 guys that came. One of them worked outside like got up on  the roof and got all the leaves and stuff off for me. The other one came inside and I had him repair a hole in my hardwood floor in the kitchen. <br /> They did a fine job with both of those. I asked them if they could fix something on my sink but they really weren't able to do that, they aren't plumbers.

Randy and his team did an exceptional job. The price was great, and the work was completed quickly and to the specifications we agreed upon. I especially appreciated Randy's consultative assistance as I decided what renovations to perform - he went above and beyond the scope of work to provide a great experience. I felt that I received tremendous value through the entire engagement, and I'll certainly choose R Harward for future projects <br />

They arrived on time, they corrected not only the issues that I had pointed out to them, but several other code violations that existed in the framing (at no additional cost). They performed the work in a timely fashion, and cleaned up after themselves well. I was pleased with the craftsmanship of the work, the price, and the duration. The men Randy has employed are thorough, and thoughtful. They'll certainly be on my go to list. <br />

Randy and his crew are awesome.  Everything they've done is beautiful, from new vinyl and hardwood floors through drywall and tile work.  Plus the addition of dozens of 16' 4X8 beams to support the floors for the new addition (which is completely inside the existing structure below our 20' gambrel roof). <br /> In addition to the excellent craftsmanship, we feel the cost was extraordinarily reasonable.  And understand from friends who've had renovations done that accomplishing all this - which actually added 1000 ft2 to our home - in four months was unbelievable. <br /> Bottom line, when we're ready to renovate our kitchen and living/dining room and replace our decks (a few years down the road) RHC already has our business.   <br /> THANK YOU! <br />
