Russell Holsenback of R.H. Builders, LLC and his associate, Jose Reyes, just completed a screen porch replacement and replacement deck at our home. Their workmanship is excellent and we are extremely pleased with the resulting changes. They also built a drainage and outflow system effectively eliminating a water runoff issue away from the house to the outer yard. They are pleasant individuals who make a dynamic duo with their skillset, experience, knowledge, and expertise. Russell’s experience in his craft is extensive and is reflected in the first cut of wood, the first screw placed, and the first nail pounded. He listens well, makes sound suggestions, and is amenable to design/build changes. His skillset has been honed through the years by sheer practical participation and encountering events in his trade. He has a “can do” attitude with a great motto that he lives by, “there are no problems, just solutions”. Among the many talents of Jose is one of being a tile setter. He is meticulous in measuring, thoughtful in design ensuring precision cuts with clean edges and straight lines, and he seeks your opinion along the process. We are indeed happy with Russell and Jose and their craftsmanship in our remodel project.

Russell was able to fit me into his schedule on short notice. Russ and his associate were very professional and their craftsmanship was very good. R.H. Builders were also very organized and kept a very clean job site. I look forward to working with them again in the near future.

They were excellent. They came out immediately and came back with scaffolding as my ceiling is 20’ tall.

RH builders has years of  homebuilding and remodeling experience . No surprises experienced. All work done consistent with an agreed upon scope document. Promised all work would be done in 30 days and it was right on schedule. Very good attention to detail. Uses skilled craftsmen who do quality work. Made certain improvements in HVAC ducting and other areas that were not even directly specified. Did not skimp on any aspect of work performance or quality of materials used. We are very satisfied with our new kitchen. I would recommend this contractor. <br />

RH BUilders did put the fixture back up, but charged me $300 for about a 10 min job because it was their minimum charge. Later they came back and ran water on the rough to find out where water was leaking (If it was), but they didn't find anything. The owner or RH Builders had some ideas, but has yet to come back and follow up after numerous calls from me to do so and assurances from him that he would. It's been one excuse after another.  <br /> Does anyone know of any other builders/contractors who could work with this and do this work since it's obvious RH Builders doesn't want my business.  <br /> <br />

<p>I needed some home repairs done quickly, Russell and his crew did their best to accommodate my need. They got the job done and fast! They were professional and courteous. Would recommend them to anyone.    </p> <br />

Russell built the house as promised, and it was everything we wanted it to be. <br /> That's the good news.  The bad news is it was over budget, several things we picked out weren't done correctly and had to be re-done.  When we finally tried to close on the house and take possession there were several leans on the house from different sub-contractors that had not been paid.  Even though we had already paid Russell the money. <br /> It became clear that Russell had used our funds to cover himself for being over-extended and over-leveraged on other projects. <br /> Bottom-Line:  We have the exact house we wanted, over-budget, over-deadline from a builder who does good work, but we no longer trust. <br /> If you use this builder, enter an agreement at your own risk and have protections in your agreement.

We are very pleased with the service and quality of work.  Our old deck was falling apart Russell and his team came in and not only made things look good but made things safe.  Very happy and would recommend. <br />

They were very good. They came exactly on time, they were very efficient, and matched the paint perfectly. I had no complaints. It cost more than I expected to but considering what they had to do, it was not bad.

<p>Russell and two of his crew removed two existing powered roof attic ventilation fans from our roof and replaced them with two new fans.  The motor on one of the fans had burned out, and since both fans were the same age, we decided to replace both fans.  The cost of a new motor was about the same as the cost of an entirely new fan.  Russell picked up the new fans on the way to the job site.  The pitch of our roof is very steep, so access to the fans was not easy.  Some roofers will replace these fans but will not disconnect or reconnect the electrical wiring.  Russell and his crew handled the electrical as well.  Access to the fans from the inside of our attic is not practical because of the roof height, so they had to have enough slack in the electrical cable that was attached to enable the fans to be removed and pulled out from above with the wiring still attached.  Russell went into the attic and disconnected the electrical cable from the studs to enable this to be done.  He replaced the electrical cable on one of the fans that was shorter than the other to facilitate its removal if this ever happens again.  He did not charge me for the new cable.  He charged me for the actual cost of the fans plus the labor for his crew.  The new fans are very quiet.  It rained one day after the job was completed and I checked in the attic....there were no leaks around the fans.  </p> <p>The fans are thermostatically controlled, and it was not hot enough the morning that they were installed to cause them to run.  So we could not confirm that they actually would run while Russell and his crew were here.  After they were gone, the attic temperature did get hot enough, and I confirmed that the fans did come on as they are supposed to do.  Russell called the next morning to confirm that they did come the afternoon of the job.</p> <p>I was very pleased with the job and would definitely use Russell and his crew again.</p> <br />

It went great!  The provider is an excellent builder.  High quality work. <br />

He came the same day I called him and had the roof repair done in hours. He came back later to do the yard and finished in 3 1/2 hours. We had lots of debris and the yard looks great now. The roof is as good as new. His crew is professional and skilled. I was extremely satisfied with my experience. He is responsive to emails and calls. <br />

It was an older home, it was being rented and we used them to come in and fix it up. There were many years of maintenance work that we needed to catch up on. He is just now completing it. I feel like we got a fair price from him and I know that he worked very hard. He communicated well.

<p>Counter top was contracted out to maker  other than that every thing that he and his crew did was great.</p> <br />

Suggested a fix that I could do without charging me a dime. Very honest and helpful. <br /> <br />
