We are happy with the roof but paid a premium for a professional, trustworthy companies. We shouldn't have to pay extra for quality work.

We are VERY happy with the results. Due to the high number of roof replacements in the area at the time, Micah was able to negotiate with Rhino's supplier, and they installed superior impact resistant shingles at the same cost as regular shingles. After sending the certification to our insurance company, our homeowner's rate dropped almost 30%!! We have received numerous positive comments about the 'new' look of our home and have recommended Rhino to many friends and neighbors. Thanks, Micah and Ryan, for a job well done!!
On one of our rainy days I discovered a leak in an upstairs closet. Bottom line, there were areas on roof in which flashing was never put in, and the area around the bathroom exhaust was never sealed off and we had wind damage on the back side of our roof. We contacted 3 different recommended roofers for estimates, and decided to go with Rhino, good fair price and we had great communication with them.
Everything from start to finish was completed in a timely and professional manner. Insurance was only paying a partial amount of the cost to repair (for the wind damage), and Ryan worked with my company and provided a very detailed invoice in order for us to get a larger payout (costs in this area were higher than the estimate from insurance adjuster).
I checked on status through out the day and could not believe how much debris was all over the driveway and yard, but every evening it was completely swept up and cleaned up.
There was a slight delay in getting started due to weather, but we were communicated with first thing in the morning (and we were very flexbile on timing). Everything was coordinated by them, including the drop off and pick up of the large construction dumpster. We were very pleased with the outcome, price, and professionalism. We would definitely use them again.
I am beyond satisfied with their work, and I would recommend asking for Matthew. They finished the work in one day, they worked hard, and all debris was completely removed the following day. Furthermore, they had the most competitive estimate of the three companies we approached. There was no attempt to upsell, and the entire estimate process was very straight-forward. We also received high quality materials for the roof.

First, let me say that the crew that did the roof installation was top-notch. They did the job quickly, and it was a good installation. My primary complaints are with the sales and follow-through of the administrative staff. The sales man basically over-promised on when he would have the crew start and complete the job. That was a bit frustrating. The follow-through was for some minor repairs that had to be done to some drywall in my skylights. After the job was complete, I was contacted to see how it went, and I relayed to Rhino that they had to get someone out to fix the drywall (really, not a big amount of work). They basically dropped the ball on calling to schedule the drywall person. They finally called back and asked why they hadn't received payment, and I told them that they had to get the drywall fixed before I would pay the last half of the project. They were very quick after that, and the drywaller came out right away and did a great job. I paid them and all was good. Then I called back to request a certificate for my storm shield shingles which my insurance company needed to adjust my rates. I've called four times, and each of the four I was provided with a smile and a thank you, and it would be sent right out. I'm still waiting on this, and it's been over a month. So would I use Rhino again? I'm not so sure. This is a very competitive field, and the roofers differentiate themselves on how their service. Good Luck on your next roofing job!

5/16/2012 Update: Again, you have not returned my calls, nor does your response accurately address my request. It's simple, do what you say you're going to do. I have made four calls to your office and not recieved a certificate of the brand of shingle that you installed. This is what my insurance company requested you provide. They are not expecting you to sign anything. I'll have my insurance agent reach-out to you. Also, to clear things up, the drywall damage was due to your installation. I'm sure you're not calling me a liar.

5/18/2012 Update: From Rhino! I have success after 4 phone calls and a few e-mails. Here is there response:

On Fri, May 18, 2012 at 12:31 PM, <rhinoroof@gmail.com> wrote: Mr Balas Please find attached, your signed certificate for the UL 2218 class 4 shingle that we installed on your roof. I also faxed a copy to your agent. Please also know that we have no way of knowing your insurance carrier unless you tell us. We also do not stock these forms for insurance companies and have no way of getting you proper paper work signed unless we receive it first. Our Secretary was admittedly confused as to what you were looking for and sent you a copy of the invoice. I'm sure this can happen to any company and I certainly don't appreciate your continued bad remarks on Angie's List. Please consider this project as resolved as I will. All of your complaints have been noted and addressed and any other form of written complaint to Angie's List will be considered as company disparagement. Thanks for you cooperation. Rhino Industries
Response from Rhino Tooging Llc
"We all at Rhino take our reputation very seriously as you can find on Google. We often go above and beyond our responsibilities and contract agreements to satisfy our customer's as we did in this case. The drywall repair that this homeowner is referring to, that we quickly repaired was not a result of our workmanship at all. Many customers find pre-existing conditions as they inspect our work under a microscope shortly after we install the roof. We expect this and repairing drywall from leaks and/or other minor cracking on the inside of the ceiling is highly unlikely due to the new roof we installed, but probably the from the exact reason why we are re-roofing to begin with. Non the less Rhino sent out a drywall company at our expense without hesitation. At that time the customer was happy and promised a great review. The customer received all the paper work that was promised or listed in the contract such as permits, contract terms and the payment was received. We will happily sign other paper work given to us by other insurance companies to an extent. We will not give consumers paper work that doesn't represent the correct facts to lower their rate. If the member would please be more specific with the paper work he needs and fax it to us at 866-237-5164 we will get it signed. We don't stock any proprietary insurance companies paper work at our office, but will obviously sign anything ACCURATE regarding the project for him."

We live in a rural area and it is often very difficult to get contractors out to our place to get work done. With Rhino it was the exact opposite. We called Rhino roofing and they were out the very next morning at 9am.
Their representative Matthew got on the roof, took pictures of our wind tattered roof and did an excellent job explaining to us our options.
Matthew contacted our insurance representative for us and took care of the entire process- we had an insurance rep out within a week and our roof repaired two days later.
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate how easy and hassle-free our experience was!! I am a mother of four kids and busy, busy busy all the time, so having someone that knows the process was such a relief.
I would absolutely reccomend Rhino to anyone that wants a roofing company that is prompt, thorough, courteous, knowlegable and professional all the way.
Thanks to all the fantastic folks at Rhino we can sleep well knowing our roof is protecting our home and family!
