About us
I am a third generation plaster and have been doing this for 40 years. My son is my only employee. We hang our own board for plaster or drywall and install the metal lath or foam for stucco. We do the plastering or drywalling and stuccoing ourselves, but if the job is big enough we have access to more workers. As far as billing, we may need a portion up front with payment at completion. We are fully insured.

Great job! Mr. Van Der Slik and his associate did the job faster than I anticipated, and did an amazing job! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing plaster repair. We have plaster mouldings original to the 1840 house and they repaired them to look like they had just been done!

Excellent! My only complaint would be that he was difficult to contact initially and didn't return my calls. However, once the initial contact was made, the experience was great. The ceiling is perfect. He and his co-worker (his son) covered the floors and put plastic up to protect walls and windows from the drywall goop. They showed up when they said they would and kept us informed about the timetable so we could coordinate the electrician's schedule. They worked fast and efficiently.

There is no evidence of the new seam - they did a perfect job of smoothing over. They arrived at my home both mornings promptly at 7:30 (or before) and did the work quickly and efficiently. They left the room cleaned up very nicely and I did not experience any problems from dust.

Richard was very responsive to my questions and phone call. He and his son were professional, courteous, and speedy. They did an excellent job and were very willing to work on my house even though it definitely wasn't one of the bigger jobs they had on their list of things to do. Would recommend them again in a heart beat! <br /> <br />

<p>Rich and his crew repaired several areas on house where the stucco was missing down to the cement block. The largest area was about 3 foot in diameter before peeled off the loose area surrounding it. There were a few area along the ground they pulled the dirt back and repaired them all the way down. We also had several badly worn and chipped corners with 2-6" chips the finished corner edges are great. They also ground out multiple cracks (at lease 50', probably more I did not measure) and filled them in with stucco and left a very nice finish on all areas. </p> <p>They did a very nice and professional job. I am sure once I get the paint there will be no trace of their work. </p> <p>Highly Recommended. </p>

I added a wall in an already finished basement and Rich finished the drywall I had hung. He showed up for the estimate on time, came back the next day and began work. He came back at the same time for 3 straight days and finished the job perfectly. It's refreshing (and rare) to get good service these days. Couldn't be happier! <br />
