Badly - the following is details of the project. The granite selection was good and the pricing was good. However, they require 80% down with the order which is ridiculous - no one does that high an amount prior the fabrication. The following were the problems with our project: 1. They only had 1 installation crew. If you don't get an early appointment, you are at the mercy of any other scheduling problems of RID. Had to reschedule numerous times. The same goes for any follow-up of installation mistakes. 2. Numerous fabrication mistakes. They had to do modifications during the installation and don't use quality tools or experienced personnel. Therefore, settled for flaws in workmanship. 3. Installation crew damaged drywall in numerous areas where they removed old backsplash. I had to do drywall repairs and repaint. 4. The measurement and details established prior to fabrication were not followed. They did not make the corner radius correct as determined on contract. They did not check the walls for squareness and therefore I had to purchase caulk/fillers to accommodate for gaps along walls of up to 1/4" on 1 side and around a 90 degree corner the front doesn't match up to another countertop by 1/2". After much arguing with the owner, we compromised on a reduction of the final payment.

My granite countertops are so beautiful! Rid Stone did such a wonderful job. The whole process was quick and easy from start to finish and the price was affordable ( the best quote). Chelsea was professional, efficient, and friendly and her response to my calls and emails were quick. The installers were meticulous, polite, and left everything very clean. I would highly recommend Rid Stone. I just love my new counters! Than you Rid Stone!

RID Stone charged me for more granite than I needed for my project, and then refused to give me all the material I paid for ( which I could've used for another project ). I asked for a refund of the part of the purchase price for which I received no granite, and was told, "That's not really the way we do business." <br /> Well, I think most people prefer to receive what they paid for. <br /> Apart from that, I was quoted "a few days" to have the material cut and finished. I was promised a call when it was ready for pickup. Two weeks passed, with no call. Finally I called them. They had misplaced my slab, but after a thorough search of their tiny facility, they managed to locate it -- half-finished. Eventually, they got around to doing the quoted work... but only because I hounded them. Once you give these folks your money, you are their last concern in the entire world. <br /> Be very wary of doing business with these people. They are totally incompetent, and borderline criminal. I cannot recommend them for any project, simple or otherwise. <br />

The in home estimate was quick. He called and said he would be late due to other appointments, which I understood, it happens. Once he came he did some measurements, handed me a card explaining that I would need to go to the warehouse to view the inventory (although he had a book which he kept in his folder), and told me it would be a couple of days..two days to get an estimate via email. I am still waiting to receive the estimate. <br />

My initial contact with this company was amazing. We randomly stopped by to look at their stockyard of remnants and found a stone we loved, but was out of our price range. We went back and forth with Chelsea many times, and she was wonderful answering all of our questions. We went back a few weeks later, and found another granite slab that we loved and was the perfect size and in our budget! We were sent home with a sample of the stone to try out in our bathroom, and we set up the installation appointment that night. Someone came out very soon to measure our current counter and to answer our questions. The installation was scheduled for 2 weeks later. They gave us an installation time window, however the installers showed up over an hour and a half late with no phone call letting us know they were running behind (even though we were the first appointment of the day, 8-10 am window). The installation went smoothly and it looked great. <br /> After a few days, I noticed some pockets that had not been filled, but had been told that this happens sometimes and to let them know and they would come back and fix them. The second time around, communication was much harder, not as quick and prompt. However we did finally get a date scheduled for the installer to come back and fill the holes. Again, we were given the 8-9 am window and he showed up an hour and a half late. This time we did get a phone call at about 9:45 telling us he was running late and on his way. <br /> Overall, I was very happy with the process, just a few frustrating waiting periods. The counter was cut beautifully and they did a nice job installing it on our existing counter without damaging it or the walls. I would definitely consider using them again in the future. <br />

The owner, estimator and office support were wonderful to work with. <br /> I had purchased my pre-fab granite slab elsewhere and RID was willing to do the cutting and installation. <br /> The store had the wrong slab and RID refused to pick-up, instead called me and suggested I go to the location <br /> to confirm what I had purchased. <br /> Yes it was worth the extra $50 I had to pay for the RID crew to make a second trip to pick-up the right granite! <br /> My vanity looks beautiful and excellent installation. They had to work with snuggling it up to existing cabinetry and half wall. <br /> My only complaint is timing. I work full-time and RID gives a window of when to expect the crew on the appt. day. We had to . <br /> reschedule when they blew through the window the first attempt, just wish the install crew had communicated better. <br />

I found RID Stone on Angie's List. I called and was able to visit the same day. I loved their stones and selected one. I indicated that my bathroom renovation was soon to begin, and I was not quite sure when to schedule them. This was not a concern. In fact, Rid Stone sent someone out to measure within days. They wanted to prepare the stone for installation and would hold it until I contacted them. <br /> Once I had a time frame, I called Rid Stone. The Quartz was ready, and I was able to schedule the installation within a few days. The installation could not have gone smoother. The two-man crew brought in tarps for the floor/carpet, removed the old counter top and sinks, and installed the new Quartz and new sinks. It is beautiful. <br /> .I highly recommend Rid Stone. <br />

Great experience from the initial contact. We originally contacted RID stone for a granite remnant but the regular price for full slabs was so great we were able to pick out the granite we liked best for comparitive cost. They were very flexible with scheduling, worked fast and provided a superior product. Installation was smooth and professional. We dealt with Chelsea she was very responsive and professional. She is very easy going and knowledgeable. We wish everyone we dealt with on our whole-house remodel was as awesome as her. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a great deal on granite.

They arrived on time, used tarps to cover flooring and were very professional. Chris came out and measured and he also came day of installation to make sure everything was going well. The installers were very good and answered questions regarding maintenance. We are very pleased with the counters and workmanship.

We had a great experience working with Rid Stone. Chelsea spent a lot of time helping us pick out the materials, colors, and styles we ended up with. I visited the show room several times and she let me take home samples so I could see the colors in my home. She was very professional and always got me the price quotes quickly. The installers did a great job and our countertops look beautiful. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Donald and his team were great to work with. The entire process was easy and painless. The quality of the work was great and done quickly. From the time I placed my order of the countertop and tile to installation was about 2 weeks. I would recommend RID Stone to anyone. Chelsea in the sales office was wonderful and helpful. I have nothing but good things to say about the whole process from the beginning to the end. I went to Rid Stone after thinking that granite counters were out of my reach price wise. They were really professional and showed me different options and I was surprised that the pricing wasn't astronomical. They came by to measure within a week and the counters were done the week after which was surprising also. The installers were the best -- its a new kitchen remodel and the dishwasher panel needed to be moved in order to make sure the counters were correctly installed. They were willing to do that everything worked out fine. The counters turned out really well and I'm really happy with them. I would recommend them to any of my friends.

Extremely pleased with entire process. Installation was done within 2 weeks after we signed the work order. Crew showed up on time, used drop cloths on all floors, cleaned up after themselves b-4 leaving. Counters look beautiful! No complaints at all. Highly recommend this company.
