As a small independent retailer since 1972, we keep our overhead low enabling us to pass on savings to you. As a member of the Abbey buying group of 800 member stores, we have buying power and selection. Our lifetime residential installation warranty is second to none. Our staff is knowledgeable and experienced. We realize when people come to us it is to find a flooring solution from someone that they can trust. We will only sell products for specific areas where they will perform, and we won’t sell you a product that won’t be right for your application. We do not offer free installation since our installer’s wives won’t let them work for free. Our pricing is straight forward, without gimmicks, and is usually less than the competition’s sale or discounted price. It was a painless process from start to finish. I was lucky and Bob Ski was the salesman working the day I walked into the showroom and he allowed me to take home the sample board to decide on the carpet for my front porch. The installers were great. Two nice young very respectful guys that did a great job installing the carpet and everything was cleaned up before they left. Excellent experience and I will for sure be recommending and buying from Riverview Carpet and Bob in the near future.

They installed a new Karndean vinyl floor over the pre-existing wood floor in 3 levels of our townhouse. From the initial consultations, where we received excellent and knowledgeable advice, through the planning, scheduling, and execution of the job, everything went completely smoothly and on time and on budget. The quality of the work, along with attention to detail, respect for our home, and cleanup were outstanding in every way. The installers, Donnie and Travis, worked hard and meticulously, coming early and staying late, solved some challenging issues, and did a a perfect job. Bob "Ski" who planned the project, did an incredible job of giving excellent advice, guiding us in our choices, managing the work, and always being available for whatever was needed. The whole company, including the people in the office, are first-rate. We love our new floor, and could not be happier with everyone at Riverview. We highly recommend this company and their product.

My situation was interesting, I was looking to have a significant dip (1.5"drop towards basement door) in my kitchen floor leveled and new hardwood installed. Riverview was very professional to work with and understood my issue. They quoted quickly and worked with materials that I had to purchase separately due to a discontinuation from my original hardwood manufacturer. The work was done in 3 days and the team was passionate about leveling the floor and achieving the best possible result. The final product looks amazing and the dip is gone! Would recommend Riverview in the future and look forward to reaching out to them for future projects.

I was truly impressed by the exceptional quality of service provided by RIVERVIEW CARPETING. We had a flood in our basement and following an interior drain installation, we needed to have new padding laid down and our carpet re-stretched into place. This was not a big job which can make it hard to find somebody to do it, but Bob came to give me an estimate not long after I called him. They were here within a week to do the work and did a great job. They had to work really hard to stretch the carpet because it had shrunk after being wet, but they were able to make it work. And then they came back shortly afterwards to do the final cleaning. I really appreciated that they were willing to do this small job and get it done so quickly. I highly recommend calling Riverview for any similar issues.

Can't comment on the price since I didn't shop around at all and haven't had carpeting work done before, but Riverview had great customer service, worked quickly, and did a nice job removing almost all staples (there) were many that were left in the hardwood floor.

"Outstanding service! We have been repeatedly impressed and pleased with Riverview Carpet and Flooring multiple times over the past 7 years. They take the time to understand the unique needs of each job, and suggest wonderful design options and flooring selections. So far, they have installed new Karndean flooring in our Kitchen, dining room, 2 bathrooms, and a sun porch; then outdoor carpet on 2 patios, carpeted stairs, and most recently a basement game room. They did such great work, we hired them to do several rooms in my mother's house too, both carpet and vinyl. Each time they do a fantastic job from start to finish, expertly dealing with whatever needs done to do the job right. For example, since we have an older home, some of the walls are not perfectly squared, and there were issues with the old sub flooring, etc. Bob and his entire crew handled each detail with precision and care. Excellent! Bobski came to the house on two occasions to give me a pricing estimate and answered all of my questions. He also returned every phone call I made during the construction. Larry and Fred were always professional, respecting my belongings and home. They cleaned up after themselves and put up with my two maltipoos barking all day. I would hire this company without a doubt and highly recommend their services. I feel like I live in a brand new beautiful home.

This is the absolute best place to go for carpet and flooring. Bob the manager bent over backwards to help me in every way possible. His visit to my house was pleasant and timely and he had great suggestion for me and answered every question I had. The installers for the vinyl were excellent. They laid out all the different patterns of the vinyl and made sure not to replicate the pattern so that it looked as natural as possible. They worked very hard, never wasted time and did an excellent job. The carpet we picked looks great and it very tight. We've had it now about 8 months and are very happy with it. This place has a great selection so make sure to visit the store. Every time I call Bob the manager takes my call. I shopped around a lot and Riverview has the best customer service as well as products that I found. Very happy and recommend to utmost confidence.

<strong>update</strong>: The customer service at Riverview carpet just gets better and better. Even though we have pain them in full, they still take my calls with questions and continue to help me. <br /> <br /> I have cats and anyone else out there with cats knows they throw up. They also know the getting the cat food dye out of your carpet is rough. This happened one week into having new carpet in the hallway. I tried just a wet sponge - no luck. I tried the Woolite foaming cleaner I had used before that usually works - but no luck. I called Bob B. and he said he would send me out some cleaner specific for Shaw Carpet. I received the package and was delighted to find not only the carpet cleaner but some extra planks of the vinyl flooring we had put in and a cleaning kit for the vinyl flooring. Bob B. also called today to say he was in my area and wanted to come and see the stain I was having a problem with - unfortunately I had a bad migraine and missed the call. But just the fact that he offered to do that blew my mind given the other problems we've had during this renovation. <br /> <br /> There was recently an article in consumer reports about what people complain most about customer support/service. I can tell you that the group at Riverview really does care and really goes out of their way to help you AS A PERSON, not a source of money.

They did a fabulous job and were very good to work with. I worked with Bobski to determine the best product for my home. With concrete floors I was concerned about how cold a vinyl floor might be and he suggested the loose-lay product. He was right, this was great. He was also very patient at the length of time it took me to decide what I wanted to do. <br /> I only met the installer the first morning to go over any questions he had and give him a key and then they came and went while I was at work. At the end of each day they had whatever mess they may have created all cleaned up and the place was spotless when they finished at the end of the week. The floors look amazing. <br /> They removed the carpeting and moved the large furniture as needed. The day before they were done they left a note asking where the large furniture pieces were supposed to go so that they could put things back where I wanted them. <br /> I was very pleased with the work and the professionalism displayed. I would definitely use them again. <br />
