He did the job and it ended up being $200 (40%) more than the quote, although it seems like maybe it was more complicated than he anticipated. He did drop the vent onto the stove (he hadn't properly secured it to the wall). Everything worked fine, although there was a minor scratch on the vent (it was a new install). I would have appreciated a discount after that or at least to honor the original quote.

My late-90s Sub-Zero 650 broke and I was anxious to find someone to help. They were able to send someone for same-day diagnostics and even suggested starting the repair within two business days — which is extremely rare. They contacted me right away and quickly scheduled an appointment to fix my stove top. Rich was great. He quickly diagnosed the problem. He showed me and explained to me the repair needed and gave me a quote which I accepted. He efficiently finished the repair and showed me how everything was working. Also gave me a 90 day guarantee on the repair. Very knowledgeable and professional. Would use again and recommend to others.

I would recommend R&J Preventative! My oven went out and I needed it fixed right away. The big appliance store where we bought it (five years ago) said they could come after Christmas :( I'm happy to say it's already fixed! As soon as I submitted an inquiry through Angi last night, I got a call right away from the owner. He was super understanding and polite. He sent a technician first thing this morning. The technician was friendly, polite and professional. He showed me everything he was doing. I will call R&J the next time I need help. (They fix pretty much everything!) I appreciate the calls and texts I got from the other contractors through Angi, but am happy with the work that R&J provided.

My oven 'OFF' switch stopped working. R&J determined I needed a new control panel membrane and quoted a replacement part price of $818 (which I prepaid), advising it might be weeks before the NLA part could be sourced. After 3 weeks of searching, Juliano let me know their sources yielded nothing, so I asked for part number. I found it online myself for <$50, so Juliano promptly refunded the $818. When the part arrived I booked the repair with R&J, assuming they'd honor the promise to credit my $99 initial service call fee toward installation service call. In the end, Juliano declined to honor that promise, which was disappointing. My oven works now though, so all's well that ends well, I guess.

"Thank you for your reply it helps our company when we receive feedback from our customers. There is a couple things that I would like to share with you my parts department searched for 12days not 3weeks as well as you were refunded in full to your credit card you zelled us our service fee in the beginning. And as well our technician never had a model number to go off because the one on your range was missing we went of a part # that was NLA . You had recovered your model number later on. Which I am very happy because we were still able to assist you. I am grateful for your feedback like I said before. Just don’t want customers thinking I ran off with your 818$ cause I never charged you that we charged for diagnostic fee 99$ and labor $219. And before I charged you for labor I refunded your deposit for a part we could not find in full to your credit card then when you received your parts you found after completion we charged you $219 for labor which was paid by check.thank you for your feedback and business"

Juliano and his crew are phenomenal. I am a real estate agent and I have referred him to at least 15 different people and they have all received excellent service. They have also repaired my washer, dryer, and refrigerator. Abt told my clients that their fridge was unrepairable and because the contractor glued it to the quartz countertop, that would also need to be replaced. Juliano and his team were able to repair it and saved me thousands of dollars. They are extremely responsive and get it done right the first time. Highly highly recommend.
