BUYER BEWARE! Roger was extremely friendly in person and we immediately hired him to help fix our uneven driveway. He showed up promptly on the first day and promised us that he would be done before the end of the week. He raised some concerns about the lack of depth for the concrete pour we requested but we both clearly agreed to move forward with the project. I left a check for the second half of the project with my spouse who gave it to him on Friday after he told her that the job was complete. When I got home I realized the job was not even close to being complete and we exchanged several text messages in which he promised to be back on Monday to fix the issue, no problem. He cashed the check and continued to promise to fix the issue until it cleared. Once the check cleared, he promptly stopped responding. Roger is a highly unethical contractor that will scam you if given the chance. Highly recommend looking elsewhere!

The story continues. This contractors address that they provided on the contract is not his address. I now have to pay someone to put my yard back together. The more I read it is all same story. Takes your money and runs. He wont show up in court so suing wont do anything. STAY AWAY, this guy is a complete crook.

RK Contractors LLC, Owner Roger Keeton is a very unprofessional owner. I hired his company to replace my driveway and patio area. I gave him a deposit to start. The short story is that he decided not to finish my project, left me with a dirt driveway for several weeks with no contact from Mr. Keeton I had to hire someone else to finish the job. I took Mr. Keeton to court which he decided not to show up for the final hearing. So i was awarded my deposit back, I still have not received any money back. Mr. Keeton has changed his company address so if he still uses 6200 Pardue Ct that’s not incorrect. I will attach some court dockets that you can find on any city court website, they might not allow it on this review. Just search his name or company to see what character he really is. Don't trust the 5 star reviews. Oh he states "guarantee your satisfaction" on Angi’s list. What happened to my satisfaction or the other people who you didn't finish their project?

"I am sorry you feel that way. Mr sir. That’s not what happened at all. Like I responded to your wife in the other comment left with Mrs dawn. I removed all your concrete and with your ground being so wet I asked you to pay for stone bc your ground was so wet. You didn’t want to pay for the change order so you had someone else come in and you paid them 8000 to do a job that was already set up and and just needed stone. Number 2 this job you are talking about was in 2020. And every site I go on you come in to try to make me look bad. So anyone who is reading this please remember that this was 3 years ago. I was very nice to him I gave him a 8000 price for the whole job. And in your contract shows any chance order you would have to pay it. Adding in a foot of stone on a 20 yard driveway is a 500 to 1000 extra and you stated you didn’t want to pay it. Then you got someone else to do the same thing you needed to get. So like I responded to your wife in the other messages dawn. Please tell the truth and not lie. And the last thing any contractor would stop a job when you have your wife father follow him around.. so I am sorry you feel that way."

The driveway and back patio look great! I would definitely hire again. This is a Father/Son company that is concentrated on customer service. They explained to me the process and gave me a rock solid timeline. Very experienced and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. R. K. I would not trust anything Mr. Keeton, Roger K owner of R.K. Contractors LLC (Virginia Beach) tells you. Here is my experience with Mr. Keeton and his company. I took Mr. Keeton to court and was awarded what i paid him, to this date I have not seen any money nor heard from him. Also, this year 2023 he already has another judgement from another victim. Go verify Virginia Beach general district court and Suffolk district court look up his name and you will see.

"Good morning sorry you feel that way Mrs [Member Name Removed]. If you are going to tell the story I feel you should tell the truth. That’s not what happen. We took the deposit and we started demo got all the demo completed and installed the 2x4 we charge you 8,000 for a 30 yard concrete install which anyone knows we are getting 10 to 12 thousand for job like this. I did that because of a favor for your brother in law. Who I known since a kid. Number 2 we asked you to pay for stone bc your ground where you lived at was all water. And your husband wouldn’t. So you hired another contractor which came in a charge you 8,000.00 and you paid him. So half the job was done he came in and installed the stone and set up and pour. Number 3 you had your father following me around at my house and asking my wife about me wired. And last thing any driveways or anything you see on my page is poured with wood 1x4.. have a great day. So please when you say things tell the whole story."

We enter to agreement. First 2 days of the project he did not show up, He did not even look with the plan and I corrected it for him. When he went the there he did a poor job. He told me he will come on the following day but he did not show up again. I send him a message that I want my money back from there he did not respond. Total deposit 4000

We have a contract for 2 weeks and we started last Wednesday. But to write a review like this and not tell them the whole story is not ok. We have removed all your dirt. We have got your foundation dirt out as well. I had rocks delivered to your house. And because it’s not 10 yards of stone we had to hall it to your house. I placed in in the street next to your driveway Bc the backyard is a muddy mess and I told you I would be back that evening and before the storm had stop you texted me demanding your money back after we have completed over half the job. But I would like to say again I apologize and pray we can come up with a solution thank you"

R.K. Contractors is absolutely one of the BEST! Stellar Customer Service. Professional, Polite, Punctual and puts out AMAZING work. Communication with clients is spot on. Very Very Good Communication. I own rental property and a music venue. R.K. is one of the BEST I have worked with. I will most definitely be using them again.

Amazing service! He closed in my downstairs den and converted it to a bedroom. Hung doors, painted, tiled the floor and installed bathroom vanities. Extremely skilled contractor, will definitely use again.
