I, unfortunately, paid them before the work was completed. So my roof is incomplete And after 21 attempts to contact and more than a month trying to reach them, I will have to pay other companies to finish the work I paid R.L. Hayes to complete.

I had the best experience with this company! They were very responsive and got a rep out to my house to give me a quote very quickly. When I had a question, they were quick to email me back. I was also very impressed with the quick turn around. Within a week from getting the quote, I had a new roof. The work crew was very professional and did a great job cleaning up all the mess and making sure there were no lingering nails laying around the yard. The customer service from this company can not be matched and I would 100% recommend them to everyone.

Need a new roof call? I encourage you to contact Roy Hayes of R.L. Hayes Roofing & Repairs. They did an excellent job re-roofing of our 2 story home. Here are the details regarding the work that was performed: Tear Off old Shingles, Cleanup all Debris and Haul Away; Install New 15 # Felt on Home; Install Weather Watch in Valleys and on Back porch due to low slope roof pitch; Replace Old PVC Pipe Flashing; Replace 2 Power Fans; Re-Flash 2 Brick Walls; Install New Shingles GAF 30 architectural Shingles.5 Year Warranty on all Labor; and Materials Warranted by Manufacturer. The crew arrived on time and completed the work in one day. A foreman was on site to address any concerns/questions that we had during the install. Since the work ended late in the day, the foreman returned to our home at our convenience two days later to inspect the work with us. A few minor, cosmetic issues were identified and addressed on the spot. We are very pleased with the results and are impressed with the "5 year warranty on all labor" that Roy provides. <br />

It was a very good experience. I emailed Mr. Hayes and he responded the very same day. He scheduled a free estimate and arrived at my home within two days of our first contact. He quickly identified the issue with my roof (there were leaks in two places) and we set up a day and time for him to do the work. He told me the estimate and later that day, he emailed me the estimate in an invoice. He fixed my roof exactly when he said he would and did an amazing job! He emailed me my paid invoice the very same day that he completed the work. He was very professional and timely. <br />

During a recent rain there was water dripping down the wall of the master bedroom. So I bought the $199 Deal from Roy, and the next day he came out to assess the project. He said the work would not be covered under The Deal but he would credit that money to the work that needed to be done. He came back two days later exactly when planned and completed the work. He and two others worked about half the day on it. They cleaned up after themselves, the roof doesn't leak, and I think the price was reasonable. I would hire him again, very satisfied with his work and with his customer service skills. He was punctual and professional and easy to work with. <br />

<p>Roy called me on a Saturday to discuss my problem. I left a message for him on the Friday before so in less than 24hr he responded. Promised to show up @ noon on the following Monday and kept the appointment. I do not live in the area and this is a rental so it was important to get it taken care of quickly.</p> <p>I am assuming it is all repaired as I was not there. I am sure if I have any additional leaks my tenant will inform me. As of now alli is good and I would use their services again.</p> <br />

"You are correct you did purchase a Big Deal. When we arrived to inspect your Roof and to clean the gutters we found that your gutters did not need cleaning due to the gutter guards on them. They were very clean at the time of inspection. However, we did find a gap between the fascia and the roof decking that the prior company installed incorrectly. This area needed to be repaired or replaced. I provided an estimate for you to repair those sections. The new roof that you recently had installed along with the new gutters and gutters guards looked great. But I do feel bad for you & your husband that the company you hired did not do the job 100% correctly when it came to installing the Fascia board around your home. Roy was very professional and helpful. He took the time to send me a detailed invoice, and was done with the job quickly. Upon inspection, I can see that he was very thorough and didn't cut any corners with labor or supplies. He also guarantees his work for five years. I noticed late Saturday afternoon that there was a shingle laying on the ground in my back yard. I emailed Mr. Hayes early Sunday morning with my situation and contact details in the hope that I would get a call first thing Monday morning. Mr. Hayes responded to my e-mail within a couple of hours and by Sunday afternoon had an appointment for Monday. <br /> It's now Monday & it has been raining much of the day. I fully expected that we would need to postpone until the weather cleared up. Instead, they showed up on time and took care of my roofing issue. <br /> This the 3rd time I have had RL Hayes out to fix some sort of roofing issue, and if the need arises again I have no doubt that they will be the ones I will call. <br />

We usually use Angie's list for all referrals, but Roy was highly recommended by a friend. We called him first and was really glad we did. He came out and gave us an estimate of $4300 for roof replacement with architectural shingles and $1700 for repairs to our porch, that included replacing a large support beam. He also offered an Angie's list discount when we told him we were members. They removed the old shingles, made necessary repairs, installed additional vents, installed architectural shingles and left the area clear of tacks and debris. Roy was involved with every step, kept us informed and answered all questions. The crew was polite and hardworking. We also liked that he has knowledge and experience in home construction. We plan on calling him again in the future for ridge work on our barn and would definitely recommend to friends.

When I had a massive oak fall into my front bedroom R. L. Hayes came right to my rescue, getting the roof properly tarped immediately. From there he moved on my repairs with great speed, fixing extensive damage to the outside and inside of the house within two weeks. The damaged areas look better now than they did before the repairs. I really could not ask for more. Roy is incredibly professional, handles all the details, works with the insurance adjuster and makes a bad experience not so stressful. I really appreciate what he did for me at a difficult time when so many people had damage and quality workmen were hard to find. I cannot recommend his work and business practices enough and wouldn't let any other repair service work on my house. You can trust R. L. Hayes with any work you have. Call Roy and forget about it.
