R&M Contracting LLC

My wife and I hired R&M Contracting to re-side our house, and unfortunately the experience was not a good one. I’ll start with the positive aspects: the price was affordable, and while working with us, Ryied and his contractors were polite and (for the most part) timely. The biggest issue was communication: it was consistently poor throughout the process. This became apparent when the job was said to be completed. My wife had a brief chance to review the work without clear communication that this was a final walk-through. My wife had recently suffered a broken tailbone and was unable to bend down to fully inspect the siding on our shed, the bottom of which was covered with dirt and debris as a result of the contracting work. It was only after we had cleared this dirt that we discovered that the siding on the shed was unfinished. The shed floods every time it rains because of the missing boards. There was also a large rock propped against one corner of the shed to hide a rotting piece of trim that should have been replaced. We reached out to Ryied immediately about this issue in early January, and as of April we have had no indication that the company plans to fix this. Ryied initially assured us (in writing, via text) that he would dispatch contractors to fix the problem, but later claimed that he had never received an email (or texts) explaining the situation. Additionally, after several attempts on my end to text Ryied about the lack of responsiveness my phone number was blocked. Even the work that was completed was subpar. The light fixtures and electrical outlets on the house’s exterior were not properly secured after the siding went up and remain loose. Additionally, we have still been cleaning up nails and other debris on our property even though the work was completed at the beginning of January. It is a shame that R&M Contracting did hurried, sloppy work and refuses to fix it. All in all, our experience was disappointing and we will not be recommending R&M to any of our friends or neighbors.

The guys did a great job. The workers were hardworking, they were on time, did what we asked them to do, and did in a timely manner.

They did a great job! Stayed productive and took their time on the project while still finishing at the excepted time. Would recommend to others! House looks brand new thanks to their wonderful siding skills!

Very prompt when arriving. Kept everything neat and clean. I would recommend to others especially for roofing needs.
