Services we offer

We are specializing in roofing and siding. What makes us a good choice for the homeowner is that we don't just do estimates and hope for a response from potential customers. We create an approach with a solution to the problem. If it's wear and tear the solution is obvious - replacement, but it is extremely important to address lack of insulation or especially ventilation when it comes to roofs and we do that. We live in an awesome, but very specific climate and attention to detail is necessary.

Our home inspector recommended we have a section of our roof examined by a professional to see if we needed repairs. Nate came out to do the estimate. He was very friendly and professional. He examined the roof very thoroughly, even taking pictures and looking at one of the windows from the inside of the house. He showed me the pictures and explained what he saw up there. Within a week, he sent me an estimate. However, he ultimately recommended that we not have any work done at this time, because it would be a huge fix for a tiny problem with no water leakage at this time. He recommended that if we decide to re-side the house in the future, they could perform some updates on the roof at that time. We would definitely call them again.
Ziggy and his crew did a great job. He took the time to price out several different options for us because we didn't know if we wanted to replace or repair the roof. The cost came in at or below the estimate.

We were extremely pleased with RMZ's work. Ziggy and an employee, Ralph, took many before-and-after photographs in the attic spaces of the units they worked on. They gave clear explanations of the work that needed to be done, and their findings agreed with what we had been told by the building inspector. They were able to accommodate our residents' schedules for their initial inspection/estimate as well as the actual repairs, and communicated well by phone and email. They were very pleasant to work with throughout the process, and even fixed a minor problem without charge (they made a separate trip to diagnose and fix the problem, and did not complete any other work in that unit). The photographs helped us see the initial problems (e.g., insulation covering vents, visible condensation) and the steps that Ziggy and Ralph took to correct them (adding baffle rafter vent chutes, clearing existing soffit vents, etc.). We will absolutely work with RMZ in the future for any roofing needs, and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs roofing done.

"It was a huge pleasure to work for this great community. We felt a need to help save their roofs from rotting away with condensation and lack of circulation problems. It was a classic example of ventilation importance when it comes to every roof’s health. We really appreciate their business and their trust in our services."

I contact RMZ thru Angie's List and received a call within an hour, on a Sunday night. I discussed the scope of the project and the timeframe that I would like to have this accomplished.
RMZ had someone at my home within a few days for our phone conversation to do the measuring for the estimate. The person that RMZ sent was very friendly and professional.
By that Friday RMZ's representative (Ziggy), delivered the estimate personally. He reviewed the estimate and provided details on the roofing products. There were two other roofers that provided estimates but not in the detail that RMZ provided.
RMZ did the roof replacement on 9/27. The team arrived promptly at 8am and were finished a little before noon. The roof replacement went as planned and the work area was free from debri.
The following Friday (10/3) their Soffit installer arrived and did a great job removing the old soffit and weathered wood and installed new treated wood and soffit.
A few weeks later (10/24) the gutter crew came to install the gutters. Again, the crew did a great, timely job and completed the job with a few hours.
Once the project was complete, Ziggy made sure that I had received my shingle warranty from the manufacturer and personally delivered my RMZ warranty. He want to make sure that i was happy with project and that personal touch made me very happy that i choose RMZ for this project.
Ziggy was my prime contact on the project and I've always received prompt responses to my any emails for phone calls that i sent/made.

A very professional company and very fair price!
It was time for a new roof so I contacted three roofing companies for bids. All of the roofers were prompt in coming out to give me an estimate. From the start I liked how Ziggy from RMZ Enterprises handled things. His sidekick spent more time on the roof than any other roofer did, taking a lot of pictures just to show me later what areas we have to address little more than the others.Ziggy went into a great detail on what the job involved and presented his recommendations. I had all of my questions answered with knowledge and professionalism. When the time came to do my roof the crew showed up early. We had the roof done by the end of the day. The cleanup was thorough and my yard looked great after they left. I had two bids on the job that were lower than Ziggy’s and one that was higher – I’m genuinely happy that I chose RMZ Enterprises. It was a big investment for us and I knew choosing a right company will be very difficult, but we got a piece of mind now. We've got our money’s worth.
They responded quickly and professionally to our problem. However, once they started the job they were completely unprofessional. I specifically said that I wanted an outdoor carpet on the porch where you could walk out. The companies response was that I could just go to home depot and get something myself. The other thing that really upset me was that one night they had someone stay there fixing it until 10 pm one night. It was really unprofessional. I also called them when the job was over to tell them they left some materials and the head of the company said he would send someone right over to get it. They never came. Would not recommend.
"I feel obligated to say a little about myself. I'm all about good quality, old fashioned roofing and by far not about highly skilled sales pitch, so it is going to be hard for me to write a proper response here. We do a lot of repair jobs early spring every year. Usually it's not about profits, instead it's mainly about our future customers, their needs, coming out with the highest quality repairs, hoping to secure business for the future, as well I have to admit as I really do have to take care of people that work for me and provide jobs for them and those repair jobs do just that in time when there is not enough full replacements. As a business owner, just like a captain of the ship I take full responsibility of what has happened. Gentleman that stayed one day all the way until 10 p.m. was one of my supervisors working for me for quite a few years. I've known him for a very long time and enjoyed working with him because I still believe he is a good person and a very professional worker. I think we all have “those” moments, but it is not an excuse for what happened. I know he meant well even though he acted unprofessional and there was no excuse for that. I also told him to pick up leftover tools and he promised to do it as quickly as possible. Obviously he never did that. I do have to admit that it was me saying that it probably would be the best for you to buy a specific carpet that you want at Home Depot. I was never in favor of calling it a porch or a balcony – it is a roof and unless we build a deck on it we should not have a foot traffic on it's membrane if we don’t want trouble with leaks and damages. Someone installed railing and it looks like a balcony, but to make it a real balcony you have to have a deck built on top of it. I don't think there should be a carpet on it and that's why I didn't want to buy one or be responsible for choosing any specific kind interior or exterior. I know there was an interior carpet on it before, but there was plenty of things before that were not supposed to be there and that was the only reason I was there to begin with. We chose granulated torch down modified bitumen membrane to make it as strong as possible for very occasional walking (even though I don't believe that anybody should be walking on it anyway until somebody builds real deck on top of it). From the very beginning my objective was to stop leaks, make sure that finally there is a counterflashing, remove all rotted wood, install proper edge metal, make sure that there is proper membrane roofing product instead of just ice and water shield on your roof, etc., etc. As far as quality is concerned I think we did everything that possibly can be done to make it leak free, practical and most of all to be cost effective. I know you think that our price was high, but I can easily prove it to be not true. I never talk about money in public, but I feel that there is a real need this time. Out of $1,700 the profit for the company was only $200 which I can prove if the need may be plus it happens to be 11.76% of the total price. Any business person knows dealing with less than 20% profit margin may result in some serious negative consequences for the company’s future. If we want our professionals to stay in business and be able to provide warranty services in the future we have to let them constantly stay above 20% of the profit margin. Please accept my apology for mu supervisor’s and my actions. I’m not sure what I can do to make it better. I will always believe that carpet does not belong on top of your roof so I don’t think I want to help in choosing or installing one. Please let me know what I can do to change your mind about my company’s reputation and professionalism at least little bit and accept my apology for keeping you and your family up until 10 p.m. that one night."

I have a very large roof. They were fantastic. A foreman and 6 man crew did the whole job in only 8 hours time. I couldn't believe the combination of speed and quality of work. The clean up was very complete. My neighbors love the looks of the new roof also.
Some of the work described above was a storm damage claim, so first of all, we need to be grateful that Ziggy and company "worked the neighborhood", so to speak, and made us aware of storm damage we otherwise may not have discovered. As I shared with him already, I appreciate his being the catalyst for a neighborhood facelift.
Now for the work itself. I can be a rather fussy customer, and therefore maybe had more than an average share of questions about materials, methods and prices. Ziggy handled my questions with respect. Even though we didn't always immediately agree, he was able to weigh my "customer" perspective against his professional expertise. I very much appreciated being able to have open dialogue.
To address each of the rating criteria above, I believe pricing was completely fair. Under the heading of workmanship, Ziggy's installers didn't seem to take issue with a customer occasionally looking over their shoulders. Quality specifics - I am very pleased with the step flashing work that was done around my chimney. Vinyl siding details, caulking around pipes, etc. are excellent. Mike, the siding and soffit installer, worked alone, was very efficient, and quickly took care of two or three fussy details I pointed out. The gutter crew was extremely friendly, and invited me to walk around before they started, to make sure what direction I wanted downspouts to point, how far to extend from the house, etc.
Responsiveness and Punctuality - Here again, Ziggy did a nice job of letting us know who was going to be here, and when, even though he was working through a tight schedule of storm deadline work. Everybody did a nice job of cleaning up after themselves.
I called this company out for an estimate as I did with 3 other company's before them, when this company came out this is the only one who informed me there was extremely bad hail damage on my roof which I was unaware of. They also informed me that the insurance would cover damage and all I would be responsible for was deductible plus any rotten boards. They said that I could go that route or just get a quote. So I decided to give insurance a shot. They contacted the insurance, they handled the claim and hassles, and they met with the insurance adjuster and sure enough they got me the money. The entire job came out to be $12,700, as far as my cost though it came out to only be $930 ( which was my deductible plus the structural repairs on my garage). I saved over $11,000, I am extremely grateful I called them for an estimate. ( the company also got the insurance to pay for all new boards (or decking as they call it) on my roof due to the wood shake shingles that were beneath my shingles, so I basically had my roof rebuilt.)
As far as the work they did:
The roofers were extremely hard workers and took very little breaks. Even though there was ice and snow on ground when roof was done I was only able to find two nails after the snow melted which I found hard to believe since the last company I had do my roof did it in the summer time and I found over 30 nails and they said that was common practice for roofers. Super impressed with the cleanup job of everyone. The roofers were very diligent when it came to repairs, I had hole in the roof of my garage which caused structural damage to the inner working of my roof and the workers did a great job restructuring the stability of it before they began. The gutter guy was fabulous as well, did a great job and I would refer them to any one.
