"Thanks for the review [Member Name Removed]! I'm glad that we were able to do the project."
"Please enter what you would like the response to look like:Final text: This review written by [Member Name Removed] and [Member Name Removed] of Custer is both misleading and untrue. To start, I went over the logistics of the project several times with the [member name removed] as well as telling them that if they have any questions about the project to let me know. My initial recommendation to the Sherrits' was to replace their badly damaged fir floors but they wanted to go with the least expensive option which was a buff and coat of the existing floors instead. To be clear the work that we performed for the Sherrits' was not a full Refinish job (where we sand the floors down to raw wood and remove all of the old finish) but a buff and coat, this is a process where we lightly abrade the existing finish with a fine grit buffing screen and apply a top coat. When we perform a buff and coat over a existing finish we cannot warranty or guarantee the finish coat due to the fact that we do not know what the floors have been treated with in the past and there are certain cleaners and treatments that can cause issues with top coats (Murpys oil soap, wax, wax based cleaners), this is a inherent risk of going with a buff and coat and not a full refinish and I explained this in full to both [Member Name Removed] and [Member Name Removed]on several occasions (I am very forward about this risk whenever we are performing a buff and coat). Most of the work that we do are either full refinish jobs or new installations of raw wood which we sand and finish on site and we do offer a full warranty on both the finish and the craftsmanship for these services, if any potential clients have any concerns or questions about this situation I would be happy to openly discuss it with them, I would also be happy to provide references from many of the hundreds of happy clients that we have done work for in the past as well as the multitude of professional builders, designers and general contractors that we do projects for on a regular basis. Dan Robbins"
