Have had them at my house for 3 different jobs. They are always on time. Clean and polite. Did a great job in a timely manner . Would hire them again if I had more floors to do. <br />

Robert came out and gave us an estimate, it was fair so we moved forward with the plans. We did make some adjustments to what needed to be done, and they said no problem, we will adjust the quote based on the work that's actually performed. Nice to have that flexibility as we were planning all of this from out of town. <br /> The employee that came to do the work (or maybe he was sub-contracted, not sure) was a super nice guy named Dave. We were planning to have the work done on Saturday and Monday, but ran into issues with our flooring not being level, so the work ended up being done Sunday and Monday, with some finalizing on Wednesday. Dave showed up Sunday morning and got to work. <br /> The only negative I would say is that Dave/his helper wanted to charge us to remove the empty boxes from the hardwood. I understood since it wasn't wood we purchased through them, but since we left NV to return to CA on Sunday, we couldn't do this ourselves and it left us with a bit of a dilemma. The good news is that I mentioned this to Karen/Robert Clark, and when Robert came out to do a final inspection, he took the empty packaging with him. Great customer service, thank you! <br /> Nice company to work with, honest and fair. I would use them again for sure! <br /> <br /> <br />

This was the third time we've used Robert Clark to install hard wood in various places within our home. Each time the results have been great. This third time we were under a time crunch and needed it completed in 5 days. The work was scheduled to take "up to 10 days" depending on the quality of the floor after the removal of the ceramic tile (previously the wood replaced carpet). Luckily, the floor was level and in great condition (although Toll Brothers, the builder, put down an aggressive amount of mud under the tiles all of which had to be taken out), so we anticipated that we could get the job completed in our timeframe!!! We kept pushing the team of installers to please help us reach our timeline and they indicated it shouldn't be an issue -- but by the end of day 3 only a tiny section of the floor was down and it had us concerned. They indicated that they didn't have a full crew all week long, and in truth, the guys that did come to our home daily showed up daily around 9:30-10am, and left around 3pm or a little later, so our concerns seemed to be legitimate. On day five, they ended up staying until 9pm to finish the job and for that, we're grateful. The floor looks great and the guys were very nice and professional. They did a good job preparing for the job (although my husband prepped the room with removing all furniture and prepping with plastic for 90% of the areas) as well as cleaning up -- we have a full stone wall in this area where the floor went down and they used an air compressor to blow fine debris off the stone wall top to bottom as well as helped in cleaning the rest of the area during and after the installation. We purchased the wood and materials separately each time but Robert Clark installed the wood all three times. Each time, the price was as quoted and we believe, was very fair. I would recommend this company for installation of hard wood in your home!

Kevin and his crew came out and removed the old carpet, base, and the existing tile in the entry. Then they hauled it all away. They did an excellent job in laying out the wood, the colors are integrated beautifully. My cement floor needed some fill and also needed to be ground down in a spot. Kevin did that at no charge to me. <br /> When they were done, I had a concern about some glue spots on some of the the floor, and about the residue left by the mineral spirits that was used to remove the glue. Mr. Clark was very responsive. He, Kevin, and his crew came back and detailed the entire floor. The floor looks beautiful.

Was quoted a price to install wood floors and larger base boards by The business Robert Clark. During the installation I was notified the quote of the job did not include enough baseboards. So I had to leave work and pick it up that afternoon as it was too far for the installer to drive and needed to be done immediately since they had another job the next day. I found this to be extremely inconvenient and very unprofessional. The end result of the baseboards has cuts in the middle of the room instead of measuring a long piece where there would be no need for a cut. Buying a new house and will not use this company again.

As far as where the seams are located on your base boards, sometimes seams are necessary based on the length of the wall and the length of the base. Wow, what a great job by Robbie and his crew. We had a new solid wood staircase installed just before the upstairs laminate flooring we got from Lumber Liquidators and the stair wood caps were not quite undercut enough for the laminate flooring to slide under like I wanted. Robbie made the additional cuts with my permission and the flooring was able to be installed exactly like we wanted it. It looks fantastic. I completely trust Robert Clark Flooring. Good recommendation by Lumber Liquidators! <br /> One lesson I learned is that when you pull up the upstairs carpet you see how low quality the wood flooring is underneath, which makes it really hard to have laminate flooring installed all level without low or high spots. Robbie was very careful to work with the flooring so that it was level throughout the house. Thanks!

Excellent service from initial estimate thru the work process. We were not in the house at the time and it was vacant before we moved in. The actual work took 5 days start to finish and because there was hardwood floors throughout, and it was only this interior process that could be worked on during this time. If there are other remodeling projects planned it is best to save this work until last, which we did. That worked out very well.

Very prompt in getting back with me upon my first call for estimates. His crew was on time and helped me out with furniture. My only drawback was when they removed my tile flooring and moved my furniture my furniture should have been covered to be protected against all the dust. The installers cleaned up every night when they left and worked almost nonstop. I also had them replace my baseboards and I must say the floors and baseboards look absolutely beautiful. I decided to add more wood to my home and will have Robert Clark do the job for me, and eventually I will be replacing tile in the master bath and I hope to have them do the job as well.

Unprofessional and unreliable people starting with the owner Robert Clark, who does not stand behind his word. He would not guarantee in writing his workmanship. <br /> I had two installers on Sat. morning installing engineered laminate flooring in the master bedroom. By the end of the day, only eight rows were done....These guys took off for lunch at 1 p.m. and returned at 2:45 p.m. With 850 sq.ft. of flooring to be installed they would <br /> have probably taken five or more days... When asked Robert how long it would take, he did not give us a straight answer. Would never recommend this company to anyone. <br />

Unfortunately, you wanted us to go against the manufactures recommendations and we can not guarantee our work under those circumstances. Robert Clark took an oath as a contractor that we would not knowingly go against industry standards. You say that Robert Clark is not a man of his word, but as a Nevada State Licensed Contractor his word is in his contract which you would not sign. Therefore no agreement was made. As for our installers taking a long lunch, that was under our recommendation as you had still not come to terms with our contract or paid your deposit. We tried very hard to work with you, but you never paid us one cent for the work that we did. We are aware that you only called us because you planned on doing the job yourself with all of the tooling you rented but you couldn't get your rows started straight. We did come and start the job for you without any compensation. So, in the end we felt you got exactly what you wanted. From the start I had an excellent experience with this company. They were punctual, professional, and communicated well with me throughout the entire job. They were the only company that was willing to repair and refinish the floor rather than fully replacing the floor with a prefinished product. They took the time to match the floor exactly with lumber from the same mill as my original floor installed more than 25 years ago. As a result I was able to extend the hardwood into an adjacent room. Both Robert and his son Kevin made sure the job went well. They moved all the furniture and put it back just as I wanted. They were neat and organized throughout the project. My floors look better than new. Not only did they do a beautiful job on the floors they showed me now I could refurbish the other worn and faded woodwork in my house and left me with a floor care kit so I can maintain their condition into the future.

Recommend by Lumber Liquidators as installers. Was contacted by Rober Clark. <br /> He came to home and discussed what he would provide and made suggestions <br /> on laying out flooring. Crew arrived on time, each day took 2 1/2 days from <br /> start to finish. Home was left very clean and all working remnants were <br /> removed.
