They are reasonably priced. The work they do is of good quality. It's a good company.

We had to get a pony wall removed so that the flooring guy could start installing and refinishing the floors soon. We also wanted to get our fireplace mantle lowered which required removing two rows of bricks removed. It was urgent and we had asked lots if folks for estimates and availability. Robert responded promptly and came over quickly to look over the job and give us an estimate. He sounded confident and we decided to give him the job. Since it was urgent, he was willing to come over the next day and get the wall out. he even suggested how we can paint the wall the same color to match the rest of the room and he saved a piece of the drywall to match the color (i didn't think of that!!) ... he also refinished the wall by putting in piece of drywall, textured it again and got it ready for paint and my flooring installers. He did a fab job, and completed the job in 2 days, cleaned up behind him. He was easy to got in touch with, always patient in answering questions I had. I would definitely hire him again!

When my tenant of 10 years moved out I called Robert to paint the interior, remove, refinish and paint the non-asbestos accoustic ceiling and refnish all the wood cabinets and drawers in the house. He did an excellent job in a very timely manner. He also was able to find and repair a leak in the shower above the tub which a previous contractor failed to do. No only did he repair the leak, he did an excellent job replacing the tiles and re-grouting the area around the tub.

Everythin went very smoothly.. Robert is bright, friendly and cheerful.

I found Robert's Handyman from Angie's List. Robert was very friendly and he came and gave an estimate of $700 and said it was about a day's work. I compared with a few other contractors and decided to choose Robert. The good part: - Decent price. - They came on time early in the morning. - Robert is very receptive to requests. The parts that could be better: - Robert does not work during weekends, we scheduled for the following Monday. This turns out to be quite an inconvenience to me. - Robert estimated for a day's work, but they did not finish from 8AM to 7PM. And they had to come for another two hours the next day. - During the whole day, I spent a lot of time helping them (including lifting a piece of the bookcase), providing tools, running around buying parts (nails, 2x4s, etc). - The quality is a bit lesser than I would expect from professionals. Two examples: (1) there is some grading in my garage, but he did not discover it until the very end, and he just inserted some plywood pieces underneath. He also used wood nails to attach neighboring cabinets together, but due to the grading, this leads to the bending of the boards; (2) For the small closet, we just bought some wood board for shelving and 2x4 for support. But he did not sand the board, and only applied prime paint on it. So there is not a finished feeling of the result.

They did an excellent job - it looks and works beautifully. They were very professional, honest, hard-working and attentive. The job site was clean at the end of each day. They kept me in the loop on when they were coming and what they were doing. They were very fair on the price and over-delivered on the job. These guys are very experienced and know what they were doing (I would feel more than comfortable working with them on larger projects). Overall, best contractor experience I have had (and we just recently remodeled our house... so we have a lot of experience with not so great contractors). I don't usually write reviews, but these guys truly deserve it for the job they did for us. We would definitely use them again if we needed to.

The overall work was excellent. Our old deck was falling apart,was was no longer connected to the house, the stairs were boarded up to prevent an accident. This deck was an "eyesore" we were ashamed of it.We called Robert's Handyman SVC. They came out explained what they could do we were very impressed with the way they explained things to us, they were very professional, and friendly. They explained everything to us,they worked very hard and they delivered what they said. we would recommend them to anyone.

We were very happy with Robert's work. He showed up with a crew and they quickly completed the job as planned. Robert was helpful in suggesting improvements too. I had already purchased closet doors and a hanging kit. Robert suggested using a sturdier rail which he was able to obtain for a reasonable price. He was also able to install an electrical outlet and move a ceiling fan in such a way as to not require additional construction work on the walls and ceiling.

It's went very well, quick, and neatly. He completed everything as promised. He originally re-framed part of my garage where stucco had leaked. He ended up re-building the whole corner, hung 2 doors, all meticulous work and he did a great job. He's also done little things for me, repairing a spring-loaded attic door. Cost reflects all work combined.

He was extremely professional in providing me with an estimate he he offered ideas and options for the work to be performed. I appreciate this part of his presentation since his experience helped me to decide on the final output. His estimates were very fair and I believe I received the true value for the work that was performed. I would definitely hire Robert again.

We first hired Robert to change all the light switches in our large house (all were dimmer switches) so we could convert to all fluorescent lighting. He did this quickly and efficiently. His next job was that our daughter turning age 16 and wanting to go into design, wanted to give her room a "makeover" of her own design. Robert assisted her in designing the room, choosing cabinetry (after budget closets gave us a HUGE estimate, Robert managed to get the same thing for 1/4 the price. He installed wallpaper, redesigned the bathroom, installed the cabinets and re-did the closets. My daughter, as "designer" couldn't have done it without him. If you are on a budget he'll do his best to work within your spending limits, and find just what you need. He is just completing a job of refinishing our kitchen cabinets. We couldn't afford new cabinets, or even re-surfaced ones after getting estimates. He is doing the refinishing so they look like new for 1/4 the cost of the lowest bid we could find for re-surfacing the cabinets, and they look fantastic!
