Went as planned

We sought two estimates. Mr. Robertson's first comment as he inspected the trees to be cut was about safety. His attention to detail was noteworthy. He had more insurance than the other contractor we met with. We've had trees cut before on properties in different states -- the Robertson crew was superb. Because of the terrain (hilly) they had to cut and carry the logs to the mulcher. We recommend them.

They were in the area and did the work the same day I called, adding the job to the end of the day. Good work.

they were delayed about 1 hour with equipment problems but the work was finished and cleaned up probably!

In mid July I had the service come out, they told me it would be 6 weeks, however after the 6 weeks went by I called desperately because Irma was coming , I live alone and am fighting breast cancer for the 2nd time, still they told me it would be another @ weeks, Thank God Irma did not effect my dying tree. It took them 3 mths to come out, they trimmed my tree and I still had to pay the $650, this id not acceptable they kept telling me they were swamped w clients, I felt like I had be pushed back so they could take bigger clients I do NOT recommend this service as they can not keep up w their business People need to know they ca not keep their promise& even though I was SO desperate being alone they did not care I will continue to tell my neighbors & anyone else this is not who u want unless u r SO wealthy w a big job they will discard you SO SO upset this service does NOT need to be on Angie's list until they can keep their word A word, like telling me it would be 6 wks was not met A word is a word and I feel like they let me down by not keeping their word which means everything

Excellent, fast, efficient service. They didn't even leave any leaves behind. I would highly recommend them. They were the highest of the companies that bid, but they were the most responsive and I will pay for quality and good professional service.

I was impressed to see how they took down the trees without damaging the house or my back fence. I thought the price was fair and I would definitely use them again.

Generally the Robertsons are good guys and easy to talk to but there seemed to be a communication problem. The guys that came out to do the work had to be reminded every day as to what was to be done and they did not get all done that I discussed with Mr. Robertson during the estimate. Days and therefore $$ were added to the original estimate, though I must admit to adding approx six trees to the job. Finally, there was a bit of a mess when they left. HOWEVER; I must say that all of the above seemed to be honest mistakes and not any attempt to milk me of extra $$$ and there was always prompt response to phone messages. Also I have no qualms about having their crew on my property as they all were polite nice folks. LTG

I called 3 companies to get quotes on my project.  One company never returned my call (Timbertech), another booked a "quote" appt one week out (Schneider) and then there was Randall at Robertson Tree Service.  He came the very next day to give me the quote, which seemed very reasonable, so I gave him the job.  He came with his crew the day I wanted him to do the work and he came prepared.  I had requested some plywood be placed on some fragile grass and the crew put it down first thing.  My work was difficult because the trees were located down a hill where no equipment could go.  The crew cut down the trees and manually carried them up the hill to hand trucks.  The tree work and stump grinding was completed and they cleaned up after themselves.  I was very pleased and would use them again! <br />

They showed up promptly, removed a gigantic tree <strong>without damaging the yard</strong>, kindly removed a smaller dead tree at no charge and a large branch stuck in top of maple tree at no charge. They were very professional, prompt, thorough, and cleaned up all debris.  I intend to use them again <br />

Robertson's tree service removed 10 mature pine trees from my property and was prompt and <br /> professional throughout the entire process.  Their pricing was very <br /> competitive and their people were highly skilled.  My backyard had limited <br /> access so all trees had to be climbed and limbs hand carried and chipped in a <br /> nearby driveway.  They were in and out in half a day, cleaned up all the <br /> debri, and left the yard in good condition.  I highly recommend them and <br /> will use them again for any future tree care needs.  <br />

These guys are amazing and I have to say I have yet to have a bad experience with Angie's list especially those rated with A's.  This crew was extremely professional, informed me of all options beforehand (cut down, maintain through a service, etc). and explained to me on site what would occur if I chose to cut the trees down.  They were careful about water lines and did a thorough job.  What really reassured me was the fact they are insured and the cost was absolutely the best price in town.  HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM <br />

Robertsons did a fantastic job! Randall came out promptly with an estimate and the crew showed up early and on schedule. They worked up until dark and came back early the next morning to clean up. Our yard looked better than it did before they came...no limbs or debris was left (except sawdust. The price was exactly as quoted and lower than other quotes we received. <p>This company was professional in every aspect of performing the daunting challenge of removing a very large tree. Mr. Robertson not only arrived on time for the initial quotation, but also provided the best price by far for the tree removal. Of note, of the five other ?recommended? contractors that quoted this job Mr. Robertson was the only one to provide a written detailed quotation.    </p> <p> As I mentioned previously this 85? tree provided many challenges as it?s located on top of a hill while towering over electrical lines, two chain link fences, three dogwood trees and our neighbor?s house. On the big day Robertson?s Tree Service arrived on time and promptly started the tree removal process. Because the tree was much higher than any bucket truck could reach it was necessary for a brave young man to climb the tree and start cutting the branches at the top of the tree. By using a system of ropes tied to the tree branches he was able to successfully and safely lower the long upper limbs to the rest of the Robertson crew on the ground. These limbs were then taken to their chipper located on the road.  </p> <p>The entire Robertson Tree Service crew was not only professional, but friendly when answering the questions that we for them. From the initial quotation to the last loading of debris, Robertson Tree did exactly what they promised, when they promised in a professional manner. The cleanup from the job was immaculate and not even a dogwood branch was broken.
