Rock Roofing has been in existence since 2004. Rocky A. Conley began as a laborer for a small roofing company and approximately 3 weeks later, was installing shingles. After 2 years of installing shingles and performing jobsite supervision for the company he was working with, the company he worked for folded due to personal issues with the owner. Two weeks later, with no idea where to work or what to do, Rocky received a phone call from a former contractor that he had previously worked for on past projects. He had called to ask if he would be interested in doing the roofs on the houses he started building, and Rocky agreed even though he did not have any tools of his own. He borrowed the tools he needed from a few friends that were in the profession, and installed the first 7 roofs entirely by himself. During this process he contacted all of the product manufacturers to ensure he was installing everything the right way so that the warranties would remain in place. He saved all of his earnings over this time and invested in a truck and the necessary equipment to operate his newly found roofing operation that was based on quality and professionalism. After ten years in business and working his workload up to over 250 roofs per year, Rocky has seen and been thru every situation possible on roof tops, and has exact knowledge on what needs to be done in every situation without guessing. Rock Roofing is a professional preferred installer for Lowes, and also a roofing inspection specialist for many companies. Exceptional service from first contact to quote, and job completion. Everything they told me was completed to superb standards. They didn’t cut corners. Cleanup was impeccable after the job. The roofers were friendly and polite. I would absolutely recommend them and I would use them again if needed.

When jobs go smoothly, any company can shine. But what truly separates out high quality organizations is how they respond when things don't go as planned. Rock Roofing was absolutely rock solid re-roofing a nearly 100 year old detached garage. Up front, Beau was an exceptional communicator, and very responsive to my concerns and questions -- a big contrast from the other more well known roofers in the area, who seemed rather put out to even consider my small job. In their bid, Rock was the only one who committed up front to all necessary wood repair. When the old rubber roof (and many layers of old roofing and rotten old tongue-and-groove sheathing) was removed, the condition of the rafters was quite a bit worse even than expected. In my experience, most contractors and especially their crew would complain and blame at this point. Rock just brought in more lumber, additional crew to help, and proceeded to reconstruct the roofing support until it was solid. The final roof and front overhang look beautiful, Beau was in constant touch, and visited after the job was finished to make sure I was happy with everything. A solid, family-owned company committed to customer satisfaction. Maybe not as well known as some of the other outfits, but on the rise, and working hard for it!

As we waited for out turn during a tough winter, Bo kept us informed of our status. When a window of weather arrived, his crew came and in one day(!) tore off, repaired, and reroofed our fairly large roof. Impressed with the quality of the roof job and equally impressed with the quality of the clean up afterwards. the guys were out next morning, in the rain, raking, picking up , and hauling out anything they missed from the day before.

Perfect job which was completed in two days. Crew covered our landscape and cleaned up thoroughly at completion of job. Dumpster remover promptly after job completion. Strongly recommend- no hiccups whatsoever.

They did an excellent job with the roof itself. The actual roofing installation was done in a timely manner. They were always congenial. However, it was very frustrating to get repaired the damage that was done on one spot of siding and to get them to trim insulation around a skylight. It took over 10 phone calls and more than a month to get the job finished. If it had not been for that bad experience I would have rated much higher . . .

Inspection had been rescheduled by Rock Roofing due to lack of availability. When I arrived home at the time of the appointment, the inspector was already on the roof. The inspection was only from the outside. The inspector's verbal report to me following his inspection was that the roof was "solid." I pointed out water damage that I had been getting in a corner of the enclosed porch. He looked at it and told me the damage wasn't coming from the roof, and made not attempt to identify the issue. With the heavy rains this winter, the "solid" roof leaked. The water damage identified on the enclosed porch was indeed coming from the roof, specifically a leak in the dormer above the porch. This I discovered myself during the rain when, examining the roof from the above crawl space, I could see the water traveling down the beam on either side of the dormer into the crawl space above the porch, and dripping down onto the porch ceiling below. At the time, I had made several attempts to contact Rock Roofing via telephone and email, but have received no reply. I have since hired another roofing contractor to make the repairs that Rock Roofing failed to identify.

I had multiple quotes for a roofing job on a rental property, Rock came in as the most affordable. They were prompt at quoting, and when the time came for the job they showed up with their crew and finished in a day (which I thought for a complete tear off would require more time).
