A huge shout-out to Rocky Tops Granite and Marble. 10 years ago they installed our kitchen and bath granite counter tops and sinks. a few days ago due to age and probably moisture, our kitchen sink completely broke loose from the granite counter top. Today a repairman came by did a complete reinstall of the sink, using more modern and hopefully as effective adhesives, The cost to us was $0.00. Yes they charged absolutely nothing for the repair after 10 years. I suggest looking to them for your counter needs.

<p>We were very pleased with all aspects of the service we received at Rocky Tops.  The owner, Mr. Scott Thompson, runs a very professional operation, and was extremely helpful and cooperative throughout the entire process.   </p> <p>I had never replaced countertops before, so I was very happy that Scott walked us through the whole process and let us know exactly what to expect.  </p> <p>The first order of stone we ordered came from a distributor located in Charlotte.  We liked the appearance, but were a little concerned about the amount of fill in the slabs.  When the stone arrived at Scott's workshop, he immediately called me and suggested that we send the material back to the distributor.  He said it had a prohibitively high amount of fill and was not worth nearly what was being charged.  We agreed, and Scott took care of sending the stone back to Charlotte.  We were a bit wiser the next time we looked, and found some beautiful granite that actually cost us less money.  </p> <p>Scott and his crew came out to measure twice.  The removal and installation was done in a day and went very smoothly.  We were particularly impressed with his crew and the care they took to minimize the dust and to clean up the kitchen when they completed their work.  The new countertops are beautiful,the price was fair, and Mr. Thompson was great to work with.  We would recommend Rocky Tops for this type of work without reservation.<br /> <br /></p> <br />

ROCKY TOPS CUSTOM GRANITE & MARBLE were good except that they had an issue with cutting the sink that was cut wrong, but I have sold the house before they came back to change that.

They are the best I would recommend them to anyone.

He was done by that afternoon !!!    The only down side was I had to get a plumber to install the faucets etc.  He suggested a man that he uses all the time, so this was an extra cost.  He came soon after granite the guys left and installed 3 faucets and dish disposal.    By 7PM all the work was totally completed!!  I can't say enough great  things about this  experience. <br />

Everything went very well overall.

Interestingly they actually had some good ideas on changing some things from the way we had proposed.  They were good about working with the stone that we were able to acquire, so we would give them good feedback.  We thought the price was good, fair and they did a good job.  They suggested some things that we hadn’t thought of that turned out to be really good ideas.  They came when they said they would come.  We did not have a problem with his responsiveness, punctuality, and professionalism.

Excellent! I had a negative experience with another vendor and when Scott (owner) heard my story, he came to the rescue and actually volunteered to do my job for free. I was skeptical due to my previous experience, but Scott and his team were responsive, professional, and extremely kind in helping me get through this ordeal.

I aired my story on WACH-news related to my kitchen remodeling nightmare where I had money taken with no services rendered. The next morning, Scott Thompson, owner of Rocky Tops contacted me and offered to donate his services for no charge in order to help me out and help counter the negativity in the community brought on by his competitor who was cheating individuals. I researched his company, then met with him. He showed me some examples of his work. Once I decided to go forward with him, he gave me guidance on my choices to ensure the best quality job. Scott and team did a fabulous job and demonstrated that their really are still good people in this world! I would recommend them any day! They go beyond the norm!
