The team at Rodenhiser is highly recommended. I hired them to fill my yard over the process of about 6 months (we lost count on the yardage of fill, but it was probably around 2000yards). This only stopped when it was too wet to drive the trucks out to dump fill. After the fill was done, Rodenhiser loamed and graded my lawn the following spring. Throughout this time, I found that I was excited to see the truck drivers, equipment operators, and Bill Rodenhiser each time they stopped by to dump fill or move earth. I made the comment to my friends/family/coworkers that sometimes I think that Bill is more excited to landscape my yard than I am! I also spent a little time working with Bill on my yard, so I got to know him a bit. Bill works very hard, wants to get the job rolling immediately, and is very responsive to texts or changes in schedules. My yard now is unbelievable, far beyond what I thought I had hired Rodenhiser Excavating for and I will continue to be their client. My friends will likely be Rodenhiser’s client in the future. Jay was incredibly courteous and professional. He fixed our sump pump drain, which had disconnected due to frost, right before a big rainstorm moved in. He was a pleasure to deal with - we wouldn't hesitate to hire Rodenhiser again.

They were here for 2 weeks. It took 2 weeks to do the job. They are very expensive. I don't want to put that down. They provided a new septic system. I would use them again but I sure hope I don't need too.

Rodenhiser Excavating and Rodenhiser Plumbing both did a terrific job of helping us out of the worst situation we've had as homeowners: our main sewer line in our front yard failed, and there was a flood and sewage back-up into the basement. On a Saturday morning, Rodenhiser Plumbing's dispatcher listened very patiently and thought about us when she had a cancellation later that morning, and she booked a plumber to come out by 12:30. I'm so grateful! <br /> Rodenhiser Plumbing saw that we needed work in our main line out front, and the courteous, thorough plumber called Rodenhiser Excavating. Bill from Rodenhiser Excavating booked an appointment for the following Monday, and he spent a lot of time on the phone explaining what was happening with our main sewage line -- and what we could expect on Monday. It was so reassuring -- on a Saturday with a major crisis happening with our basement and with our plumbing -- to know that a team would be out to the house on Monday. I'm so grateful! <br /> On Monday, Bill's team arrived right on time. The job took part of the next morning because a pump was needed to complete the job. We were thrilled that within 72 hours of finding the basement flooding, this catastrophe was resolved -- due to the quick work, skillful know-how, excellent project management and immediate responsiveness of Rodenhiser Excavating. Bill explained our options and choices for the job very well along the way, and he was always very available via phone. His crew was courteous, skilled, focused and hard-working. They also patiently answered questions -- which continued to make us feel better during a very upsetting time. <br /> When Rodenhiser Excavating left our home, the job had been done professionally and extremely quickly. The logistics were seamless, and the communication was great. We now have a new section of pipe, and we can use our showers, sinks, and toilets again! The work site was left clean and intact. Bill advised us on how to do preventive maintenance on the main line, and he suggested options for making sure the problem doesn't happen again in the future. <br /> Rodenhiser Excavating and Rodenhiser Plumbing have left us as 100% satisfied customers. <br />

We had a failed CIPP restoration over the 2013 Thanksgiving Holiday that turned into an emergency sewer line replacement/excavation. Bill Rodenhiser left a landscaping job he was working on to help us out. He and his crew began working late in the day and the excavation continued until midnight. He was on the job the entire time and rectified a particularly bad situation. Bill and his men are reliable and professional. He says what he will do and he will deliver. He even set up a temporary dog enclosure for our Lab as our fence had to come down during the excavation and can't be restored until spring. We recommend him without reservation.
