Rogers Roofing

Juan C Upon finding a few shingles on the ground near my home caused by strong prevailing wind, I contacted Roger's Roofing. The estimating person Brogan, visited and thoroughly inspected my entire roof. Brogan reviewed his inspection and assisted in showing me the issues he discovered. He also recommended a roof replacement that would last much longer than a repair. He provided some samples of roofing materials. We discussed some options to serve my needs as well as some financing choices. In summary I am counting on and looking forward to having Roger's Roofing solve my roofing requirements.

Timely and very professional

The salesman was excellent. They stated their goal is OUTSTANDING customer service. That is a lie. They said it would take 1 day to do the roof. It took 5 days (excluding Sunday) and that was after I called them every morning and taking off work. They kept promising me that they would come out to finish the project. The salesman stated they could do the roof of the gazebo. They couldn't. Also on the 5th day, they completed the job but left remaining boxes and material on the lawn. After paying close to $30,000, this is unacceptable.

I think they did an impeccable work, but I do have two problems with them , The 1st one is that I referred my neighbor, and they did not gave a referral bonus for that. the 2nd one is that The satellite dish blew off the roof. Mr rogers blew that off too.

It is my wholehearted opinion this company did not stand behind (contractual) commitment for 100% customer satisfaction. Messy caulk. Unexpectedly removed decorative wood trim without discussion or notification, and failed to replace/repair when asked. Attempted to resolve multiple times with production manager but he failed respond to our final email and voicemail.

The price was good, it was better than all the others.

It's like a family business-- I've never had anyone that provided such good services. I had leaks coming into my bedroom from the attack due to bad winds blowing off shingles. Even though they were pretty busy business wise, they were able to sneak me in and get the job done before there was more bad weather. They kept in fantastic communication and even sent me cookies! I feel completely comfortable asking questions and speaking with their crew. They cleaned up the area when they were finished and it looked better than when they started! Since my husband and I can't get to the roof, the crew took pictures of the job when it was finished and transferred them to my phone so we could be confident that they did what they said they would. I let them put out one of their signs in my yard for a month, even though I'd leave it out longer if they wanted. Spectacular service!

Good, start day was delayed 3 weeks due to weather. Crew left work area clean.

Their punctuality is excellent. So far it is good. It's a two story building and I can't see up there but I did have the guys take me pictures. From what I could see, they did a very good job but they were much higher than some of the other estimates that I have received. It's a one day job.

Removed upper and lower level gutters, downspouts and aluminum facia. Inspected all facia boards. Installed new upper and lower level aluminum facia. Installed new upper and lower level seamless gutters. Relocated upper and lower level downspouts to opposite side of the house per my request. Rogers Roofing did a great job. The new gutters and downspouts look great. They cleaned up all old materials and left the job site neat and clean. Great job all around. Not the cheapest estimate we had, but worth the price. My only negative is that we would have liked to have had better communication with them as to when the work would be performed. Appproximately one month passed from the time of agreement to go ahead and the actual day the work was done with no contact until the day before. We plan to use Rogers Roofing again fo our garage soffit, facia and gutters. <br />

After contacting three other vendors for a roof repair quote, someone recommended Rogers to me. This was after a particularly bad high wind storm which caused tremendous damage in the NWI area. I got such poor service and responses from the other three vendors that I did not have very high hopes of Rogers coming out soon (if at all). However, the receptionist said someone would be there the next day and sure enough, Kevin was there the next day. He and I met and he showed me detailed pictures of my roof (having actually walked on the steep roof unlike another vendor). He recommended that whole roof be replaced which surprised me but it was obvious that my shingles were the level of brittle and crumbly he was showing me. I informed the insurance I was filing a claim and Kevin quickly got emergency tarps up on the exposed areas. Unfortunately, it was a long winter and the job was not finished until March which winter finally allowed it. But on many occasions I called Kevin in a panic that the tarps were lose and I worried about moisture coming into the house. It was a stressful 4 months. BUT, Kevin came out every single time to check the tarps and confirm back to me that they were fine.  <br /> The insurance didn't approve replacing the whole roof but I verified with another roofing expert that what Kevin had said was correct and the shingles would not last many more years.  <br /> As soon as the weather started to get better, I called Rogers to make sure they still remembered my job and indeed they did have me in the queue. The called and said they were coming out and stripped the roof and repaired a bit more then they had planned without charging me.  <br /> The insurance was very cheap and would only replace right side fascia on my roof peaks. Kevin agreed to charge me the lower insurance rate to replace the left sides as the color was extremely faded after 10 1/2 years of sun exposure.  <br /> There was only one issue with the project manager being on vacation when they started my job so they forgot to finish the fascia. When I called them to say the job wasn't finished, they were extremely apologetic and explained that someone else was covering to prevent delay on the job but the very next day my work was finished. <br /> Overall, I would highly recommend Rogers and working with Kevin was wonderful although I'm sure I drove him nuts with repeat texts and calls but he never made me feel so.  Very professional, very reasonable, accommodating and trustful. <br />

We really like our salesperson Kevin. He was punctual,knowledgeable, and and all around nice guy. We got our estimate in a timely fashion. We accepted the proposal pretty much immediately after receiving it in the second week of May. <br /> Then. The. Waiting. Began. It took multiple calls to secure the job. Then. More. Waiting. We were told they were a few weeks out and we'd be called a few days in advance to schedule the job dates. <br /> Fast forward several weeks to 5:30 PM when I receive a call stating they will be at the house the next morning to start the job. Really? I requested the project manager contact my husband. My husband never received a phone call and it took AT LEAST 5 phone calls to try to figure if the crew was actually coming or not. Kevin helped by calling us back with a start date a few days out that gave us adequate time to make arrangement for time off. <br /> First week of July, job gutters are completed. They look great-well done! Find several screws in my driveway and nails around the house. Roofing guy comes next day for his portion, doesn't finish and says he will be back the next day. Doesn't make it back the next day and in the mean while a storm blows in and the debris he left  on the room blows everywhere. Once he finishes his portion the job-it looks good but there is junk laying all over the roof. <br /> With the exception of one gutter that is pitched incorrectly things look great. Contacted company regarding this one revision, sales guy comes back out last week and agrees we need a revision. Still. Waiting. On. Response. <br /> In summary: <br /> 1. Loved Kevin, our sales guy <br /> 2. Do not love the ridiculously long response time it takes to get things into motion <br /> 3. Quality of work is good <br /> 4. Organization of job is not good <br /> 5. Clean up is sub-optimal <br /> B for job done well, D for clean-up and communication-BOO. <br /> Not super happy about all of the work we have done to give you business. Feel very underappreciated as a customer. <br />

They did fine. The cost was a little bit higher. The price was not what I expected to pay. The quality was great.
