There were a couple of particular problems that came from the buying side, particularly a pair of naive missteps. Ron and Courtney's experience essentially solved the problems.

We chose Ron Henderson & Associates to list and sell our home because of their track record of success. He and his team made the whole process effortless and smooth. From our initial meeting, he gave me advice on how to add real value to my home at a minimum of cost, and helped me price it in a way that would attract a fast offer AND get me what I needed out of it. His specific advice on prepping my home for sale + the way Ron's team marketed the home for sale got over 20 showings scheduled on the first day on the market, and one turned into a full price offer! Ron guided me through each step of negotiating the contract, then his team took over and made the process easy and convenient. The buyer tried to pull a fast one on us prior to closing, but with Ron's experience, he knew exactly how to reject the "ask" and still move forward with an on-time closing. I will confidently recommend Ron Henderson and Associates for anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

Ron and his whole team were professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and thorough. From the very beginning, Ron's team took the time to listen what we were looking for and were able to show us a number of homes that met those wishes. Once we found the place that we now call home, Ron and his team made every step as simple as possible and walked us through the whole process. My experience was great! Each person I worked with was very professional, friendly and helpful. I felt they went above and beyond, both during the transactions and afterwards. They helped me with everything including choosing a selling price, getting repairs made, choosing inspectors and contractors, getting me a great home warranty and providing copies of paperwork to my insurance, etc. It was a pleasure working with them and will hire them next time I move!

Ron is very good to work with. He sold us our house and 4 years later we contacted him again to help us sell it.  Ron did a tremendous job helping us through the process and helped get us an offer within a couple hours of our house going on the market. We moved out of state or we otherwise would have used Ron again to help us find out next house. Highly recommend.

Ron, Scott, & Courtney are an amazing team. They are responsive, educated, and excel as Real Estate Agents.  I have been in the mortgage industry for 16 years, and have worked with many real estate agents in my career. Most of which are uneducated and poor at response time. When I was looking to sell my home and buy a new one, I knew I wanted someone who I could trust.  I was referred to Ron and his team and they did nothing but supply amazing service. Not only did they handle every detail of both of my closings, but they sold my home in under 25 hours from listing and made sure my buyer was on pace and time to close on the close date. The entire group made our experience easy from beginning to end. My family and I were out of town buyers working under a tight timeline. The communication before I came to town was excellent - they understood my requirements and had a series of houses lined up for me which would suit my needs. Scott (their buyer's agent) found us a fantastic house, and we had a contract signed 24 hours after landing in town! From contract to closing Courtney (their transaction officer) kept in constant contact and made sure every part of the process went smoothly. Her contribution to the process was invaluable - I have worked with realtors who slow down in communication and attention once a contract is signed, but Courtney had everything under control at all times. I could not have asked for a better experience.

We interviewed three realtors. While not the cheapest Ron offerer more services than the others. He and his team helped us with downsizing (after thirty years), necessary upgrades and staging. It took a great deal of effort but we followed his advice and it paid it paid dividends. The house sold in ten days with less than one percent off the asking price. if you want to get the most for your house I recommend you engage Ron and his team and follow their advice. They are great to work with.

Let me start by saying that I chose Ron Henderson and his team based on the high ratings I found here on Angie?s list. Boy, am I glad that I did! I was looking for a team that is dedicated to selling my home with as little pain as possible because I work a lot of hours. <br /> I contacted Ron and heard back from him immediately. We set up an appointment to meet at my house so we could discuss listing the house with his team at Keller Williams. I learned a lot from him about selling my house within the first twenty minutes of our meeting. He is very personable, knowledgeable about real estate, and, prepared. Ron explained that he has a ?team? of people that all basically have a single function. This means that there are dedicated agents that act as selling agents, buying agents, dedicated marketing agents, and, agents that deal with the paperwork taking care the banks, title companies etc. I really liked this approach. What?s the difference? Most realtors are buyer and seller agents. Because of this they show you all of their properties whether you want to see them or not. I found this to be very annoying when I bought my first house because my realtor at the time kept showing me houses I didn?t want to look at. With Ron?s team the selling agent concentrates on showing potential buyers houses he/she is trying to sell for their client. They dedicate all of their time to selling your home. The same goes for his buying agents. <br /> I had just repainted the inside of the house and put down a new floor to get it ready to sell. After walking through my house he pointed out some things I had overlooked such as needing to replace some light bulbs, doing some touch up work etc. These kinds of things don?t sound like a big deal but they really make a difference when you are showing your house. After the walk through Ron had all of the information (listings) he needed with him about what all of the houses in my neighborhood were selling for during the last six months. He explained what all of the information meant i.e. days on market, original list price, current prices etc. He had already figured out what my house should list for. I was impressed with the level of detail Ron went into to explain how the real estate market works. He had done his homework. <br /> I listed the house with Ron and his team a couple of days later. He had everything set up from the photographer to listing my house on MLS and his website within a couple of days. His team was great to work with. I was in touch with him and his team (Ron, Courtney, Elizabeth) via email, text messages and, phone calls throughout the entire process. Courtney was absolutely wonderful to work with in dealing with all of the paperwork from the bank and the title company. During the selling process I received a home inspection report that was quite large. I contacted Ron and Courtney to help me decipher exactly what the buyer was expecting me to fix. It really was a big list of items and, quite frankly was ridiculous for a 50-year-old house. They both worked with me (especially Courtney) to figure out what I needed to do and, they put me in touch with an electrician (Rick Miller) to help me fix the items that showed up in the report. I really appreciated the referral and I can?t tell you how nice it was working with the electrician to fix the issues. He was very fair and honest. <br /> I had moved out of the house just before I put it on the market so I wasn?t there every day to keep an eye on it. Something I really appreciated about Ron was that he did a walk through after each showing and updated me about anything that he saw. An example of this is Ron telling me that I should probably go by the house and clean the (hardwood) floor by the front door because people had tracked dirt in the house. <br /> Speaking of foot traffic... Did I mention that Ron and his team sold my house in five weeks? Within the second week of him and his team listing my house I had a bunch of showings. I think I had over a dozen showings within the first three weeks. <br /> I would highly recommend using Ron and his team for selling/buying your next house. <br /> <br />

Let me first start by saying, that I have very high standards in regards to customer service and have been known to send complaint letters and impose self-boycotts on businesses.With that being said, I feel as equally compelled to share our experience with Ron Henderson, Scott Parman and the rest of Ron's team. <br /> Our experience with Ron Henderson and his team was a true blessing. We purchased our first townhome before the housing market crash in 2008 so needless to say we were very apprehensive of selling our home knowing the market hadn't fully recovered (particularly with townhomes). We searched and searched for the right Realtor to not only sell our home and purchase our new house but we were also looking for someone to educate us on the process. Luckily, we found Ron Henderson on Angie's List. <br /> Ron met us at our townhome to help us determine the best asking price for our home. Ron spent time going room to room making minor suggestions on ways to help us prepare the sell of our home. After the walk-through, Ron sat with us and had a very tough and conversation about the sell of our home. He didn't over promise on an asking price...he gave us facts like comps in the area, national trends and the hard truth that we weren't in a position to break even on the sell of the townhome. Although this is something we didn't want to hear, we had assumed we were in that position based off other neighbors' experiences in selling their townhome. <br /> It took us about a month to evaluate our options before we called Ron back. When we called, he remembered our conversations and was very grateful that he could help sell our home. He put our home on the market on a Wednesday and by the following Monday (5 days later) we accepted an offer on our townhome. We're 100% certain that we could NOT have sold our home on our own. From his advice, to the staging, professional photography, his connections to every listing site and his team of workers who never let the ball drop, I am convinced and completely appreciative of his and his team's work in the entire process. Again coming from someone who is passionate about honesty and great customer service, I would highly recommended Ron Henderson and his team. <br /> <br />

I would not use or recommend Mr. Henderson to anyone. Not only did he put his interests ahead of the sellers (us) which he purportedly represented, he lied on at least one occasion. To us, that was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. <br />

I was becoming very frustrated with realtors in general due to receiving different answers from various realtors. I wanted to know the real situation for selling our upside down, fixer upper. Ron came by and looked our house over. He gave me straight answers and suggested a realtor the would be excellent for our situation. Ron was puntual, courteous and professional. I don't want to move again any time soon but would love to work with him if the situation arises. Thanks Ron, your help was greatly appreciated. <br />

We were very pleased with our experience. Ron and his team worked to help us sell our house in 4 days. Going into this process we knew homes in our area were averaging 4 viewings per month with time under contract around 60 days. We had 10 showings and sold our house the first weekend. I attribute this to Ron and his team’s efforts. I believe keys for success were: <br /> <ul> <li>Online Marketing - Ron’s experience in online marketing was a huge plus. This is key as most buyers do their research online. It is critical that your property is in all the places buyers look and presents well. Ron’s team knocked it out of the park on this one. With resale of existing property our big question was; where do we start getting your house ready? Living in the home you see all the warts. Ron provided us a priority list based upon his experience of what needs to be addressed and what is a not as important. In addition he was able to help us make decisions on what will please the masses when it came to decorating and color choices. (Some color choices that appeal to us, might not have broad appeal. His guidance was usually spot on.)</li> <li></li> <li>Professionalism – Ron and staff were responsive to our needs and followed through on their commitments.</li> </ul> <br /> I would recommend Ron and his team to anyone looking sell a home in the Northland. <br />

After accepting a job in another state, we looked for a realtor on Angie's List to list our house and sell it fast. We decided to contact Ron after reading all of the great reviews online. He had also sold a house down the street from us in less than 30 days while other homes in our neighborhood stayed on the market for 6+ months. <br /> After contacting Ron, within a day he was out at our house to give us advice on pricing and repair recommendations. He also arranged for a staging consultant to come out and make recommendations for furniture placements and staging techniques. Probably the most impressive aspect of Ron's marketing was the professional pictures of the house and online presentation. All of our friends and family were very impressed by how great the house looked in the pictures online. After each showing, we always received prompt feedback by email about the house and Ron would even call us with additional info if he had heard any updates from the other realtors. After only 30 days, we received an offer at almost full asking price and closed on the sale in August. <br /> Overall, we were very pleased with Ron's services and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to sell a house. We had a good experience with Ron after a horrible experience with <br /> another realtor in Platte City. If you have never bought or sold real <br /> estate in Missouri expect some differences from where you came from. <br /> Guess it's a mid-west thing. Ron is a knowlegeable, diligent and efficient realtor who understands his client's need and desires and helps fulfill the home purchase requirements without unnecessary fanfare.

Ron is an excellent agent and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. We recently had experience with a different agent in connection with the sale of my mother's house, and while that agent was competent, Ron's professionalism and use of technology and the internet to market his listings made the experience with him much more satisfactory.

Ron was always there when we needed him. He went above and beyond to me on what most agents would be expected to be. He was there to meet with painters and work out design changes. It was not an easy time of the year to sell a house but we did get it sold. Took a lot of hard work by Ron and us but we got it sold. He provides lots of services that I did not expect and a lot of personal attention to things in and around your house.

From our initial visit and all through the home selling process, Ron seemed truly interested in making the process a success. He was willing to adapt his procedures to meet our personal needs. He was honest and professional in all dealings with us. He also treated potential buyers with respect. He went the extra mile to market and show our house. Due to Ron's great negotiating skills, we were able to obtain a very good offer for our home during a very difficult selling market.

The process went very well. Ron assisted us in various means as we went through the process. We were impressed by Ron's honesty and integrity. He worked with us and looked out for our best interest. We've had bad experiences with Realtors in the past who had a focus on their own agendas and rarely kept us in the loop during the whole process. Ron was not like that at all; his communication was great and we would most definitely work with Ron again if we choose to sell our home in the future and look to buy again.

Ron works very diligently to sell your home, even in tough markets. He gives you tips for getting your house ready to "put your best foot forward" and contracts with a decorator to go over your home with you. He uses the internet effectively to advertise your home on a website frequented by out-of-town buyers and spends a lot of money to market your home. On the flip side, he uses the internet and MLS listings to narrow your search for a new home to homes that fit your price range and needs. His many years of sales experience show because he is a good listener, paying close attention to what you tell him you want.
