We are a locally owned and operated company. We understand a new roof, insulation installation, new gutters or siding is a very large investment in your home so we try to make the payment options as easy as possible. We accept all major credit cards, paypal, or your personal check. We are also members of IMS, ITEX and World Barter, so we can accept payment through those options, as well. We are very different than most roofing companies that never hear from them after the roof is done. We feel as though we are all part of a big family. We stay in touch with our new friends. Roof was first installation- completed in 1½ days siding installed 3 weeks later- completed in 1 day gutters installed 1 week later- completed in 1 day.

Water was leaking into the house. They fixed it and recommended that I Call the original company that installed our shingles to fix something that they'd done incorrectly. Roof doctor could have made the repair but didn't feel it was right to charge me for something that was someone else's mistake. <br />

He showed up and caulked all windows on the exterior. I had to ask him to clean out the gutters, which he did. But, he only did the first level instead of doing both levels.

They came out and looked at the siding and did a temporary fix for free. I have not needed them to come back yet. I did not pay for it. The communication was good, I did not see them but I talked to them on the phone.

They did a great job. They came out when they said they would. They looked at it and gave me an estimate. They did a good job. They called back three times to make sure I'm still satisfied. I've had nothing but good things to say about them. I was very satisfied with them. They did what they said they would do. They kept me informed. I was very happy with them. They were good.

We were way over changed for the gutter cleaning $225 and they never came back to quote us for the other work that was needed

<p>Estimate was prompt and very professional. After down payment was made, all the trouble began. One worker showed up and would work for a couple of hours and then leave. This went on for several weeks until I contacted owner. Apparently, the owner was out of the country and left everything up to his foreman. The foreman had excuses for not showing up like two flat tires at a car show on Sunday evening and no place to get them fixed until Monday. After the owner was contacted and made aware of the problem, progress was made but still at a very slow pace. I was told that owner just found out that he had many jobs that were in the same situation as mine and he would get to me when he could. I should also note that I cut down approximately 45 ash trees and cut/stacked up about two truckloads of wood that the owner wanted to take to his mother that lived nearby. I gave him the wood and he came and hauled it off. Even after all this, work was very slow and I was worried about job being completed before winter. The owner did not have a copy of the estimate so I gave him a copy I made so he knew what the job included. </p> <p> </p> <p>All of this work initiated from an advertisement offered on Angie?s list. The main reason for looking at Angie?s List was to find someone REPUTABLE to CLEAN THE GUTTERS. I knew there was trim to be replaced around one window but was unaware of all the other problems until Roof Doctor came out. The Estimate was signed sometime around 9/23/2013 and the job was not finished until 11/9/2013 ? 3 or 4 days before the snow started to fall. Angie?s List was notified and status maintained regarding the problems we encountered with this contractor. This contractor was rated at the top of Angie?s List and we could not have had a worse experience. Not sure I can ever trust Angie?s List again.</p> <p> </p> <p>The most infuriating part is that this job initiated from needing the gutters cleaned. Before I would pay the owner the balance, I asked if the gutters were cleaned. He said yes and I didn?t believe him. He then went back up on my roof to check and found allot of debris in the gutter left from the work his company performed on my house.</p> <p> </p> <p>This was the worst experience we have ever had with a contractor and we do not trust Angie?s List any longer ? he was rated at the top of your list. It appears that these contractors have figured out how to use the ?Angie?s List Big Discount? to bait and switch customers. I am very disgusted with both Angie?s List and The Roof Doctor.</p>

"This is very unfortunate to hear. This man claims many things that were relayed totally different at the time of service. I have never had someone act one way then make claims and accusations that were so far off base. He acted completely satisfied at the time of service. He did have on concern of an employee that got injured and could not complete the work. So we had to send out a different crew to complete the work. That did take some time. With all things in life I guess you just can not please all people all the time. No matter what we did for him he was not going to be pleased. It was never stated to us during the process that they weren't pleased with or workmanship, on the contrary they told us they were very please with us. So I am somewhat confused on how to approach this reply. I tried to go above and beyond to please this customer and they acted pleased, therefore I can not change the service we provided. If they were not pleased with something then they should have discussed it with me at the time we closed the job. I think some people just have an axe to grind with everything they touch. I hope this was not the case, but it appears that way to me."

<p>Unfortuantely, I've never heard back from the company. I've left 3 voicemails and an e-mail with no response over the course of 3 weeks. Since I need to get my siding fixed, I've called Angie's List and requested my money back. I'll have to contact another provider since this company doesn't seem to want the business.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Update:</p> <p>I finally got a call from the owner two days after I started the process to get my money back. He said that there was a family emergency and that there wasn't supposed to be any Big Deals active for their company. However, he was still willing to honor the deal if we could work out the timing. We scheduled the work on a day I typically work from home but Mike didn't show up until after 4pm and then wasn't prepared for the job and had to leave an come back with the right equipment. (Apparently there had been a flat tire on his work truck.) The work was complete -- he rehung the piece of siding and caulked the upstairs windows -- and for that I am satisfied. Overall, I am still upset with the lack of communication from the company. I understand that they've had family illness and other issues and I sympathize but they didn't bother with so much as a voicemail message on the business telephone number stating they were temporarily closed while they dealt with the emergency. I don't believe that I'll be contacting this company again for any further work.</p>

<p>The initial visit covered the inspections and re-caulking plus they provided estimates to make several repairs. The caulking was very sloppy in many places, so, after I pointed that out, they came back to correct it. I'd consider the corrections adequate yet not quite as professional looking as I hoped for. A third visit was to make the repairs. </p> <p>Today the original leak is back so the repair either was done wrong or it failed after 2 months.<br /> <br /></p> <p>The vendor did slightly discount the charges each time something was done wrong. </p> <br />

I was stood up on the first two appointments I set. First excuse was that his wife just gave birth. OK, that's fine even though it was sort of last minute. Second time, he called after our set appointment time to say that he went to the wrong house and that he was all the way across town. He offered to be there in about an hour but I had to go to work. Third appointment he was late but finally made it there. We talked about my roof. He said he'd be back to clean gutters, and attend to a flashing issue. He took away a piece of my siding and said he'd have it fixed and put back in place. He said some one from the office would call me about my box gutters. He failed to show up to clean the gutters when he said. After several days I called him. Seems he forgot about me. He showed up a few days later. I think he cleaned the gutters. It's been about a month since I've heard from this guy. I tried his cell phone (the only info on this company I had) but it wasn't excepting calls. They still have my piece of siding.

Replaced a barn roof - two previous roofs had blown off in high winds. This one hasn't - even with winds over 60 mph. Great job - excellent engineering.
