Chris and his team did a great job with our first set of windows that needed an emergency replacement. From estimate, scheduling, on time arrival, installation and clean up. we were so happy with their work that we had them come back and replace the remaining 10 windows. Fast and efficient. Excellent! We had Chris and his team work on our house for windowsill issues as well as painting and setting up our house ready to move in. We are so happy with the results! We had 3 estimates. They were all fairly close. We chose Sound Home Exteriors as I liked the owner and they were very local. We got new vinyl siding, soffit, gutters and the trim wrapped in aluminum. The house looks great and we are very pleased with the results.

Absolutely the BEST in town. My only regret is not finding them sooner. I had used another company to do the work on my bump out and I ended up paying five times for repair after repair after repair. Chris and his team did an excellent job of replacing windows of the entire house. Chris clearly and patiently explained all models of windows to select a suitable one. I hired Chris and his team for a project that included installing outdoor deck heaters, running electrical to a sauna, pouring a concrete slab, raising a backyard fence, and reinforcing sagging front steps. The entire experience was frustrating, expensive, and ultimately dangerous. I have had to redo nearly every facet of their work myself or pay to have it redone. It's been over a year and a half and I am still dealing with the consequences of their actions. Unlicensed, unqualified electrical work: Chris sent workers with no credentials to do complex electrical installations. The deck heaters later shorted out and nearly caused a fire. I later discovered no permit had ever been filed, and multiple licensed electricians confirmed the work was illegal and unsafe. I had to pay over $6,000 to correct . If you're considering hiring Sound Home Exteriors ? don?t. This company put my home at risk with negligent work and left me with a huge mess to fix.

Sound Home Exteriors sub-contractors started work on my house in July 22, we parted ways and I have paid in full in August â 23 with areas within the scope of work left incomplete. This was a negative experience in so many ways and on so many levels. Get other bids and work with a pro, not this company or the new LLC, Tech Builders WA. The next part of the project was set to be installed by a different crew so I gave Chris another chance to prove to me that all the words he said to me before I signed the agreement were not a lie. He never did prove that that, quite the opposite actually. His little line that he says, I do not care if I have to rip everything off and do it again, it will be right in the end is total BS from a sleazy in-home sales unprofessional. I told him from the beginning that all I wanted was for the crew to take pride in their work and get it done right the first time. That also never, ever happened. They resided my whole house and then went around with touch up paint to cover all the nail holes. That paint was off a shade and left little blotches all around my house. Hardie came out and inspected and said they had pay for the house to be painted. Chris had a paint crew so Hardie paid him to paint my house, did not cost him anything and he probably made money on it. I asked him to have the crew fill all the nail holes before painting so everything would look nice and finished. He said they would do that after and use touch up paint to fill the holes. These circle jerk antics are why this review is here. Sure enough, his finish contractor comes here and over fills these holes, leaving extra material on my new hardie planks making it obvious that there is a hole there. He also used a roller whereas the first crew used a spray gun, it is just not right that it looks the way it does. It looks like an amateur who is there for hourly pay and does not care at all did the work, certainly not a professional that I paid thousands of dollars to his company for quality work. A crew came back to paint the trim and used the wrong white even though I told them over and over again to use acetic white from Sherwin Williams because that is what is on the house. They dropped paint on decorative rocks around my house, on my cement entrance and on my new blink doorbell. I am just amazed at how little he and his crews care about quality of work, they have zero respect for peoples property and the things they work hard for. In the end, he threatened to put a lien on my house for a $663 balance, threatened to take me to court, refused to finish the work that we agreed upon. His math when demanding payment was way off, claiming that I owed him $5,000. I swiftly put Chris directly in his place and shared his mistake with him. He promptly replied to my email saying that he only settled on the balance of $663 because he wanted to be done with all of this. In reality, my balance was $663, the guy is a clown and his crew is made up of other clowns that are not skilled at their craft. His turnover of crews is very high, he had four different â finish contractors come to my house to perform less than desirable work that still needs to be redone in many areas. There is a pile of debris in my driveway that he promised to have removed, it is been here for months and still is. Even up to the very very end I had to reach out to Chris again to ask for the paid in full letter. I always did my part when it came to payments and things he requested from me. He rarely upheld his end, there is definitely something to be said about working with a competent contractor that has the ability to follow through with what they say they are going to do. Save yourself a headache, a year of your life, a bunch of frustration, feeling of anger & regret but most importantly, spend a little more with someone else and avoid this guy.

Sofit overhang covered with venting, all completed quickly and very well done. Kept everything neat and tidy during the work and trash removed upon completion. When needed will have them return for other projects.

This team performed flawlessly on our siding project. Hard working, very detailed oriented, addressed all issues that came up, consulted made repairs as needed in a professional manner. I would recommend Sound home exteriors to anyone.

Chris was very responsive to questions and scheduling. They replaced some windows as part of the project, which caused a delay in completing the project due to the current supply chain issues. The crew did phenomenal work, and left the work area cleaner than it was when they began the project. Thumbs up all the way around!

Chris and his team were very cordial, knowledgeable, hard-working individuals. They came to work on our house around 9:00 A.M., took only about 1/2 hour for lunch and worked through until 4:30. They always cleaned up after themselves and work really hard to get the project done before the heavy rains set in. They accomplished that and my husband and I are very pleased with the results. Would hire them again. Thanks to all of them for a job well done.

Josh replaced my worn out deck and did a great job. I really appreciated his attention to detail. He treated my job as if he was working on his own deck and did the job to those standards. He did a great job and exceeded my expectations. I had contacted a couple other companies about handling this deck replacement and was told it was too small of a job. So I found Sound Home Exteriors at the Tacoma remodeling show and asked Chris if he would handle the job. He said there was no job too small for them and he would be happy to quote on the job. The price he quoted was fair but now in retrospect it was a great price for the quality of the job done.

Chris and crew did a great Job. Chris was always responsive and happy answer my many questions. The crew was unfailingly polite, did beautiful work, and had the job done really quickly. The final product looks beautiful. Will definitely hire Chris and crew for my next project.

Started out as just windows, but ended up being a lot more. Chris came by mistake as he forgot I had canceled the appointment. Glad he did cause he and his crew have done a great job. The first job was windows and siding. Ended up with new windows. Siding in which I opted to add some insulation. I also had to get new gutters. The cost ended up being 6000 more for all of that a different company was gonna charge me for just windows. During the project noticed I was in need of a roof. Took a few bids, but Chris won that project too. The house looks fantastic and I am more than happy with all the work that was done. I am an asshole and expect a lot for my money. Chris and his crews went beyond my expectations. He also did it with as little impact on my time as possible. No big sales tactics. Just good honest quality work at a fair price.
