They came out and inspected the deck first, put me on the list for the work to be done, came out and completed the work....just that simple!

One could not ask for a more professional office staff, Joyce, owner, Bill, and work crew headed by Kevin. I have used this company for several years now and am very pleased with the exceptional quality of work and both the company's and workers work ethic. They exceeded my high standards. Their prices are always competitive and exceptionally fair. Also, if you happen to catch one of their specials, you will get the best deal going bar none. They arrive on time and if, by chance, they are a bit behind you get a call ahead of time informing you. Their clean up is great and you will never get better quality of work. Kevin always lets me know when he is finished and asks if I want to check out their work or if there is something else that needs to be done. In my opinion, they are the best. It took forever. Began first week in October and finished yesterday, 11/6. To be fair, the painting was done in stages because of weather. However, they were unreliable and did not show up when promised.

There were some issues because some of the gutters didn't get done. There were some issues. He couldn't get to them or something like that. I think he could do better. He didn't do much let's put it like that. We have already a gutter system in place. He didn't clean all of it, I think some were too high, I don't think he had a big ladder. I can't remember the exact price. I told him we didn't need a cleaning we wanted an inspection of the gutters. It wasn't quite what I wanted.

Went well but missed a couple of places.

Contracted with SSR on July 26, 2017. Work did not take place until September 14 because they ordered a special shingle for me and supplier was slow - but Brian kept me in the loop. Their crew of 10 Arrived and completed the job in one day! My renter, me and our neighbors were amazed. It was reported to me neighbors came out to watch the project and one who needed new roof asked for a quote on the spot! The crew was tired as they had just done a church before me and few tar-like marks were reported on garage (tight space) I understand Brian and Bill personally reported to home and cleaned up! Update as of 7/20/18: We have tried to contact this company several times as a lean has been put on our house from the supplier of the shingles they used. Because Roofing Specialist has not paid the supplier, we now have a lean on our house. We want them to pay the bill to them which is about $2000.

Roofing Service Specialists are extremely professional and did a very thorough job of cleaning the exterior of our home. This is by far the best power wash experience we have had in the 15 years of owning our home. I highly recommend Roofing Service Specialists to anyone needing power wash services.

I am very pleased with the work that was done. They were very prompt and efficient. The work was completed within a week of my initial call and was a great price. They took great care to not harm the plants that I have around my house, and I will certainly hire again.

Great communication. The sale representative always replied my request promptly. They used the top of line shingles from Atlas (StormMaster Shake with Scotchgrd Protector) with very competitive price (I got estimations from four reputable roofers in my neighborhood). In fact, he marched the low price from another roofer. The work crew were very professional and worked very hard. They did great job and cleanup at end of each day. They finished my roof (44 squares) in two days (including removal the old shingles). Highly recommended.

Had the best price we found. House is a ranch style with hip roof, so lots of surface. We hoped to get it done before winter, but weather did not cooperate until spring. Once started, all went quickly. They did a great job cleaning up every day. Cost a little more than estimated due to needing to replace more damaged plywood, but not unexpected. Result looks good. Owner did touch-ups himself and sealed some cracked chimney mortar.

They were hired to inspect the roof and do minor repairs. They came out cleaned the gutters and took pictures.  I contacted them a week or 2 later and they did send the pictures showing what needed to be repaired.  I didn't hire them to clean the gutters as they did not need it. A few more emails and they never bothered to do the repairs. They never contacted me

badly, not only did it take a ridiculously long time to complete (booked in September) I'm still not sure the work was actually performed.

The work product was fantastic and the company was responsive and prompt with a second project we added.

In the process of scheduling in November 2016, provider had a family emergency. Clearly, being flexible was the right thing to do, so it was fine. Provider sent emails out a couple times through January 2017 updating customers on situation and assuring us service would be completed, but not saying when. Then communication stopped. I made two attempts to contact them in February and March, but received no response. Service was finally performed in late April 2017, after provider requested coming on their own schedule, and I agreed. Service was performed well, once it finally happened. But between January and April I was left wondering if I'd dropped money into a hole and would never hear from the provider again. Life happens, obviously, I just wish there had been better communication.

When I didn't get the expected contact to schedule the service, I phoned the company. The person I spoke to scheduled the cleaning, but no one showed up and no one called to reschedule. After I expressed my unhappiness with the lack of professionalism, I got this reply in mid-December, 2016: "You’re a valued customer to me, and I learned that you can’t assume things are getting done. With my dad passing, and my office manager leaving with things that we not done I’m trying to regroup my company. I’ve managed to get some people upset. I do understand that and the only thing I can change is letting folks know that I’m putting everyone on standby for their cleanings. I don’t want to set a time again and have to change it again.We can’t work in this weather and this week are some extreme cold front coming in as well. Kevin my lead gutter service guy is very anxious to get this done for you. So, what I will say i s you’re on standby and your service cards our on my desk, as fast as I can we’ll get you done. You’ll also get a 50% discount on your spring cleaning. Please be patience as I want this done more then you." It is April 18, 2017, and I have yet to be contacted regarding scheduling the service. The Angie's List offer was good for 6 months and will expire soon.

Got less value than I paid for

Ok, but it took months for them to come to our home. It was supposed to be done last Fall. They rescheduled at least 3 times.

The service was done at my mother's house. That turned out, out of a 1 to 10, I'd say it turned out about a 9. Even though I gave them my mother's address, they came to my house. Two people came to perform the service. They were responsive, they cleaned the gutters, they just didn't catch all of the areas. The checking of the roof for any deformities or any damage, I thought that was great. In just the general area above the ground in the eave area, they checked for any damage and any deformities, and I didn't really expect that.

Services were never done. At last contact the owner indicated that he was not sure when he would be able to get the services performed. Services were paid for on 11/23/2016. We've just had a week of very mild weather that would have allowed for the services to be completed. After 90 days of no service I've requested a refund from Angie's List.
